Feng Shui = "Wind-Water"
Feng Shui is one of the five factors of a person's destiny. The first is fate, is said to be determined at the moment of birth, some believe conception, or even when the soul enters the womb. Luck is the second, pure luck, man-made luck, and heaven luck. The third is Feng Shui luck or earth luck. Next comes philanthropy, and finnaly education, and experiance. The last three components of destiny are proactive things you can do to affect change along your journey.
Concepts= Three major concepts of Feng Shui are; the flow of energy, the balence of yin and yang, and the interaction of the five elements in the universe.
The Flow of Energy= It is a natural law that energy flows in wazy lines. Even in nature staight line only appear in small segments .When energy flows in a straight line, like with a flood, its awesome power is unleased. Usually a flood will destroy everything and will follow man made things such as a road. Man-made things like freeways, bridges, tunnels, lampposts etc, have negative energy called 'sha' or killing energy. In Feng Shui straight lines are called killing arrows.
Yin and Yang= The universal balance. Male and female, good and bad, the right side of the body vs. the left side.
The Elements= This is an important aspect of Feng Shui. It represents two things. The generative or creative connection that provides power, and strength. And the destructive relationship, that denies strength and power. Misplaced understanding can result in the opposite of what we wish to achieve.
Generative Cycle= View as the pentagram (five pointed star, surrounded in a circle.) At the top is fire. Fire generates Earth, Earth generates Metal, Metal generates Water, Water generates Wood, Wood generates Fire.
Destructive Cycle= Fire melts metal, Metal cuts Wood, Wood moves Earth, Earth dams Water, Water puts out Fire.
The Compass
Here are a few points to guide the placment of certain objects based on the Compass School and the Black (Hat) Sect Tantric Tibetan Buddhist (BSTB). This is, very simply put, a compass style to determine the exact direction of the main entrance to a room, office or home. You place the corresponding colours, animals, numbers, and elements in the areas you want to activate. The schools will often use an octagon (the bagua) placed in the room or house, and stretch it out to fit the property using the entrace as the reference point. This is the eight compass points as well. N-NE-E-SE-S-SW-W-NW are the compass points that will be the same in every room.
North=Career, business, success, black, winter, water, metal, tortise, 1
Northeast=Knowledge, wisdom, self-development, success in shool, turquoise, tan, winter becoming spring, earth, fire, 8
East= Family, life, health, nutrition, harmony, prosperity, green, spring, wood, water, dragon, 3
Southeast=Wealth, properity, abundunce, green, purple, spring becomming summer, wood, water, 4
South=Fame, fortune, longevity, festivity, joy, red, summer, fire, wood, bird, 9
Southwest=Marriage, mother, relationships, love, romance, spouse, yellow, white, pink, red, summer becoming autumn, earth, fire, 2
West=Children, children's fames, creativity, white, autumn, metal, earth, tiger, 7
Northwest= Supportive and helpful people, internation trade and travel, interests outside the home, father, gray, metal, earth, autumn becomming winter, 6
Much of what you do is based on common sense, sound architectual design, intuition, geography, ecology, meterology, astronomy, interior design, ancient Chinese philosophy, and folf beliefs. As you tap into the tao, or flow of the universe, you create a more holistic, natural, and simpler way of life. Keeping your heart pure and intentions strong, and you will see the fascinating changes occur.
I will add some do's and don't. And I will keep adding as I go.
Crystals
Do clear new crystals by running under cold water (not tap water) to wash away energies of previous people. Let the water drip from the point. Or bury them in the earth for atleast three days, or store them under pyramids.
Do recharge your crystals by placing them in the moonlight as oftren as you can.
Do hang two white, gold, red, or pink crystals, in the SW corner of your bedroom, to activate your love, marriage, and relationships.
Do place crystals in multiples of 8 in the NE area of your study or office. To excell in your work, and increase intuitive thinking. In the childs NE bedrrom to help with academics.
Do use crystals in the earth area of SW (marriage, love, relationships) NE(knowledge, wisdom, self-development. And especcially the metal area of W, because earth creates metal, which is made into coins for wealth.
Do hang a crystal in a dark corner, to activete chin (life energy) in that location.
Do hang a dangle a crystal from a window if the view includes, buildings, lampposts, chimneys or other unpleasent sights.
Do clean your birth gemstone after each use to keep its energy pure.

Do keep a representation of a bat in the SW, encouraging, happieness, good fortune, long life and protection.
Flowers
Do decorate your daughters bed with fresh peonies or with pictures of them. Attracting good men to her life.
Don't keep peonies around when all the single women have married. lol This encourages straying, or seeking elsewhere.
Do use daffodils, hyacinths, and orchids for enhancing relationships. In the SW
Do match chrysanthemums to the appropriate color. Purple in SE for wealth and prosperity. They symbolize longevity, depenadability, and a desire to maintain a long duration of a wonderful thing.
Do combine a lotus blosum with a bud to represent the ideal partnership. Ultimate symbol of Buddhism and represents, purity, joy, and perfection. The great blosoms grow up from the mud at the bottom of lakes, ditches, meaning perfection from impurity.
Don't keep an overabundance of plants in the bedroom, as they create too much yang energy, and yin is needed for good rest. Three small plants are sufficient to promote health well-being, harmony, and family accord.Do plant red flower around the S entrace. This provides protection to your family.
