Hi Newbie, the first time my third eye definitely started to vibrate was when I did the OM-chanting, btw a "fast" way to get into process.. cause you can not do anything wrong with that. Explain in short: sit with straight back - relax - dont force anything - now breath in and when you breath out sing/buzz/drone the mantra OMMMM - with focus on the MMM - let this MMM vibrate insidely - do the sound as deep as it is possible for you - cause the deeper the more inner vibration - repeat that - dont hurry dont force anything - let thoughts and feelings come and go - let them just pass bye - and go back to your breath and OM over and over - 20 minutes should be enough to show you results - which will be surely calmty and some further subtle sensations of different kind. Please keep us informed, report whatever, you are welcome! If you can find a CD with only sounds on it, like bells or easy esoteric sounds (no specific melodie) then you can use this very well with this meditation. OM chanting is one of the oldest, easiest and most basical techniques, practiced since thousand of years. OM is supposed to be the basic sound of this universe, the sound of our self within. Good luck and have fun.
btw: to do this together with others, friends is most fun and does raise the effectiveness.

Hey Newbie, okay I`ve heard that happened to people trying it the first time, but the reason mostly is that it was done with too much force though. When you watch children playing you can see that they are doing it in an innocent way, without force, just more crooning mmm. But anyways now, if you get headache then stop doing it! Oh and I didnt mean concentration on Chakras, I never would recommend any Chakrawork, cause for that one needs to have meditated many years- in my opinion ! With concentration on the MMM I just wanted to express the focus on the inner crooning, means not screaming, not doing it loud, you understand? Please tell me if not, cause Im german and then I have to try to translate it into better words, okay! There are more easy breath-meditation yes. Just focus on your breath. Count the breaths. Or just try to be conscious of each breath. Thats all. You can sit in silence while doing that. But you also can do it wherever you are, during the day or so. The thing with meditation is nothing more than just focusing on one thing, but not in pushing other things (like thoughts) away, but most important get back to your (breath or whatever) focus over and over again. Thats what is called meditation in its most basic meaning. One goal of medition is to become a witness, to become able to just perceive, without judgment. The daoists say: the more easy the better. Means meditation doenst have to be a complicated thing, in contrary it should be simple and give a pleasant feeling. The best indicator that you have found your individual best technique is that you do feel well with it, from the very first beginning. So if it would be more easy for you then you also could focus on light, on god, on buddha, on your Higher Self or anyhing which is nice, positive and helpful for you to stay concentrated. What are your beliefs, are you religious in any kind? Or let me ask: in what you have confidence, if there is something you somehow believe in? Maybe its the best to know something more about you and your conditions to find out what would be helpful to find the best meditation for you. Also I feel like saying that there is no reason to hurry, really not, cause you are a wonderful being as you are, as anybody else is a unique creation. If you/we do meditation thats great, cause then you/we can slow more down and enjoy and be more aware of the things we do, think and feel. And but if you/we dont do meditation then its also okay, its just a playful free-choice, nothing urgent to be done. I believe more and more that what we are is exactly what we are meant to be, you understsand what I mean? I do find it very most important that we try to accept us as we are, try to love us for how we are. We all are giving our best anyways :-) seeya, lovejoy, Nani

It's complicated to explain because not alot of people belive it can happen and such when there is types of proof but it's useless to use.
But anyways I kinda understood your post I'll give it another go hopefully it works I just wanna gain my ability to visualze as well and i found this place seeing as i thought they could probley help out in opening my third eye so i can visualze and such.

I know what ya mean by saying that all those many people around us just dont believe in magic.. thats not very helpful indeed, but hey you`ve found this place here, keep on making threads, also in different sections, and ask and tell, anything of the occult. Whats about your dreams concretely? You could post them into the dream-section, often there are lots of hints within and by getting different views of others we can understand better what our soul is trying to tell us through dreams, isnt it just a matter of the right translation/understanding often?! In the dream-section you also find a thread: "fullmoon..." there we try to meet us astral at certain dates and of course most important is to be able to focus on 1 common goal, so but more people alltogether have more power/energy right, so I already have found lots of help for focusing better and have had great results in growing through this group-works and such, we are all helping each other. lovejoy&growth, Nani

www.orphalese.net/article.aspx?articleid=5this is what I found with google, dont know if its good enough. I myself dont know much about how to make those mandalas, sorry. Maybe you just put the mandala-request into the spirit-section also, cause things easily can be overlooked, as there are many threads and topics. I could imagine that some people here know more about it, lovejoy, Nani
