Yesterday, while meditating with one of my X-tapes I had a vision of standing outside and I was looking up in the sky at a lot of birds flying. They formed into a formation of a spiral.

Linda, you have the most awesome visions and dreams. Spirals for me definitely associated with something mystical.

Yeah, it did look mystical. I know birds can sometime mean messagers, but exatctly kind of message was it? Besides looking really cool.

If those birds were like a spiral what went into the skies it could mean some message from above or something, or that "going up" somehow. Do you recall what kind of birds were they and what colour were they?

I do see spiral shapes a lot when I meditate, but it was just weird that it was made up of birds this time. It was too high up to really tell what kind or color the birds were. I think they were black though maybe and small. My dream book says small black birds represent worries. I can't think of anything I've been worrying about. A spiral itself can represent a lot of things, so who knows.

I think this is the best question for you, CC, too! What the dream ment to you, you personaly, because that author of your dream book may have written that about worries and small birds according to his/her interpretation. He/she can't say it about all people. There is a one book in my school's library about dream symbol meanings and whenever i open it i read something negative what i saw in a dream.Does that means that for real all is negative...i think no.
So my advice is to examine your own feelings . And if they do not ring true for those bird meaning to be worries or something so, then look for something else untill you feel it is right for you.

I really don't know what it means to me. I'm not so sure it needs an interpretation. It wasn't a dream. I was awake when it happened and it only lasted about two seconds. It just looked weird and strange that the birds formed a pattern in the sky as complicated as a spiral. It's not something you normally see birds do. All my visions seem to be on the weird side. So far nothing has ever came of any of them. These little visions I have, I called them flickers. I am awake, but in a trance state. Some of them are almost like a quick OBE, but I don't feel like I am out of my body when they happen. It's mostly when I meditate with the X-tapes that they happen. I don't know what they are.

When I read your POst CC. It reminded me of the Sacred Spiral Dance/ Grouse Dance. of the North American Indian, The sacred Sprioal is one of the oldest known Symbols for Personal Power. I am hugely into Symbolism at the moment Probably why it jogged my memory. The Spiral is a Metaphor for personal Vision and enlightenment. Many a Shaman painted the Spirial on there person in the belief that great Mystery will favour them with Visions.' It may be a message to start annalysing how you see yourself move through your world, what image do you send into the universe,How do you see yourself in the mirror, can you look yourself in the eye and like what you see, what words would you describe. You can spend a lifetime learning how to harmonise your dance upon Mother Earth and move with her cycles with the flow and ease as Mother earth does herself..and how to offer the Dance as a creation of selfless beauty. I believe your connection you had was a gift a gift of a vision to show a direction you may need to go.. maybe spending more time outside in Mother nature and also accepting yourself as is faults and all.. Truly, wholly no if's or but's. Just as is!! The Sacred Spiral is about becoming at one with your surrounds melding, moulding into our Mother Earth and Grandfather Sky, The Universe in whole. You are Great Spirits gift to you. What you make of yourself is your gift to Great Spirit. depending on your belief system replace Great Spirit with God. Hope this helped

Yeah, I know what you mean by flickers. They last a few seconds, but they are very clear. For me they are good signs that my spiritual work is going well, but I haven't seen any for a long time. Really, I feel out of touch right now. Hmm..maybe I should go on a water post for a few days, that always helps.

Spirals huh? Does the "Divine Proportion" ring a bell? That's PHI not PI. When you saw this in your vision at that moment how did you feel. Nurture that feeling, remember it and hold it. It may be useful to you.

Thank you Bezjak, your post was a big help. I put 'Divine Proportion' in the search engine and spent the night reading. I ended up finding more stuff on the Da Vinci stuff...this time more from some Christain's points of view about. Some interesting stuff I read last night about Phi, 666, and the Da Vinci. Really too much to take in for one night. I also went back and paid close attention to how I felt when I had that vision. It was how it made me feel is the reason I posted about it in the first place.

I just read this afternoon and found this interesting piece about visions. I realized it was a vision! To me, what was special about it was that I was able to recollect exactly the process of the vision. I realized that I had involuntarily used my imagination to conjure that encounter. The experience was in my imagination, yet it was real. I realized that my teaching about the mechanics of having a vision had been confirmed in this experience. A vision is an experience of the imagination that is so arresting that it appears as reality. I was surprised and pleased to have that idea played out. What a gift! Later I had the opportunity to reflect upon the MESSAGE of the vision.www.creativespirit.net/henryreed/artgallery/index.htm

You are quite welcome.....I have done alot of research pertaining to the connection between mathematics and life in general, and the consequences of thereof. In theory (my theory) the theorems of higher math/physics are accessible by our metaphysical form. So it would be to OUR advantage to not only read up on spiritual subjects, but also brush up on our knowledge of math. (or at least familiarize ourselves with the theorems.)

Sacred Geometry, The masons, And the golden mean(golden spiral). I am more into symbols but those i mentioned first are things i put quite a bit of time into. Maybe your vision had some connection to the golden mean cc.

It is our emotions and feelings that drive us on this plane and others....
