I loved this movie! I just saw it this weekend. Has anyone else seen it? I read the book a long time ago and enjoyed it. The movie was pretty true to the book.

My daughter had a role in this play when she was in 7th grade. It was her first time in the drama club. She's a sophomore now and has been in a few other plays. I thought the play was kind of confusing but the movie looks really good.
Some say this new series will beat out the Harry Potter series. What do you all think about that?

Well, I am a Christian, and I love both HP and Chronicles of narnia. I think it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Both HP and Chronicles of Narnia are great. Why much one have to beat out the other? There's plenty of interest for both.

It's funny because I work at a Turkish restaurant and since this movie came out we've been selling alot of Lokum (Turkish delight). It's a gummy candy I guess that was in the movie and kids of have been just buying the stuff up. It's amazing how well movies can sell stuff. It shows how humans are just doomed to be consumers. You can't look anywhere now days without being advertised to.

This is going to be great..! Oh i have red the book, a very long time ago before the movie was taken, i saw it and it i liked it very much! My favourite was Aslan, he's look i found majestic and well...as it was thought to be in movie. Wonderful scenes with cheetah( sp?) running into fight ( the running part). And nature scenes, all that.

Well, I guess I'm in the minority on the liking of the movie. I rented it last week with the belief that it was going to be a grand adventure, but was disappointed with how rushed the second hour was. I can understand why the movie spent so long on the first hour, I just think that they should have tossed in a extra hour to fully explore the world inside the wardrobe.

Cool sounds great!! I'll definately be going to see that one Yeh!! when I think about it the ...growing up in Narnia was way too fast, The twist at the end made me forget how quick it went. Wouldnt it be great though grow up enjoy life and then step through a door "young again with no wrinkles" LOL!and do it all again still with the knowledge of the previous experience how cool would that be. I'm sure we all would be grand masters in knowledge

I thought that the movie was very cute. I remember reading the entire series when I was a kid, and I fell in love with it. I hope that they decide to make the rest of them into movies as well.
