Mind/Body/Spirit spread[/b] Mind--10 of PentaclesI see this card as going through and displaying what means the most to you. Sort of like letting people see what you want them to see? Or looking at what I have accomplished. Body--The EmperorHmmm...not sure...seeking out what I know should be within myself? Spirit--DeathI like this card. I don't see it as negative at all and I think it fits nicely. She is holding a stick with a cocoon on it representing something old and the butterfly signifies something new. They are blindfolding her as if telling her to forget about the past or the old...what you don't see...again I like this card...very non-threatening, good feelings.

yeah this spread makes complete sense to me lol..good one.. okay about the emperor..what does he say to you?? does he make you feel power or knowledge or anything like that?? well we will be going over him, however I would take this card aside and meditate on it, if you have time that is..

Yeah I can see knowledge in the card. The people are seeking out that knowledge. So I would think that it could mean to seek out my own knowledge to be able to find the answers I need.

Asked "What should I follow at this time?" and drew Novice of Pentacles (Knight). I think this is telling me that I have already begun the physical activities that I need to complete. I am actively working on my finances. I am actively preparing my home for the holiday activities. I also think it involves meditating on what needs to be done. I'd say that this card is about the physical because in this deck pentacles represents Earth. To get down and dirty. To work on the mundane tasks that lie ahead. With it being a Novice (Knight) I would say that I am just beginning these tasks...have started to put my energy into it.

yep thats right..and the emperor can be a place in a reading, like a company or a college..because it is a powerful card of learning and also building new platforms in money or schooling.., it is also where we expand in new areas in order to be firm and solid, like a promotion at work.

Haha...when I read this it just clicked even more. I have been dealing with getting ready for school to start in January for me (textbooks, financial aid). I didn't even think about that when I was describing the card. I was thinking about other things instead. That's great! Thanks.

Something came up today after I drew the card so I thought I would re-draw with a different question and see what I came up with. Not sure which deck to use though. Might pick one card from each of the two and see what comes up. Type: One card draw Deck: Ramses: Tarot of Eternity Question: What should I pay attention to regarding my relationship issues? Drew: 8 of Chalices I think this is telling me to divert myself to other things. A pastime or hobby. To take it easy right now. Type: One card draw Deck: The Pagan Tarot Question: What should I pay attention to regarding my relationship issues? Drew: Temperance I think this card is telling me to moderate my emotions. To pay attention to what I need to do instead of what I want to do. To let myself be guided to where I need to be. These two cards seem to go well together. This reading made a lot of sense to me. Obviously I need to take it easy and see what happens. As I expected this is not the time to take action in this situation.

ahh, both these card make perfect sense to me, however the 8 of cups in most decks show a person walking away from something they have built, usually a relationship..these cards you have are hard to read lol..they show differant things going on..but anyway, I suppose youll have your own way of reading the tarot due to that fact.. now with the temperance here, this is a balancing card..to balance oneself emotionaly and mentally.. this is my patience card..it is telling you to have patience or patience will be needed for the outcome..

I think you are right on both of those. The 8 of chalices I drew from this deck is showing someone walking away from something. She is occupying herself with something other than the object/thing/person that she would have been spending her time on. She is ignoring it by diverting her attention elsewhere.
I also saw patience in the second card (just forgot to type it...lol). I think they are both telling me to just let things go as they are for now, which is actually what I had decided to do. I felt I had to do this reading because emotions get muddled (especially for me being a cancer with a full moon...lol) when you have conflicting situations going on in relationships.

It seems both decks are basically telling you the same thing. I'm glad they are both working out for you.

Thank you, Anise. I think you may be right. I am very drawn to both of them and they are much better than the Rider-Waite for me. Out of curiousity I picked a card from that deck the same time I chose them from the other decks just to see what would happen. I felt very disoriented with those cards after using these ones. I don't think I'll be trying that again...lol.

thats great that these cards are working for you!! the more you read from them the more youll see and be able to read even more cards down the road, as you get more into tarot that is..but it is imporaant to have decks that we feel connected to.

Asked "What should I follow at this time?" From the Ramses deck: 4 of Pentacles From the Pagan deck: 9 of Pentacles Hmmm...I think these are both opposites and a continuation of each other all at the same time. The 4 of Pentacles show people working hard to stock up on necessities. A card of saving for the future. Preparing for what is yet to come. The 9 of Pentacles shows her relaxing after completing what needs to be done. Make time for myself after I know I have finished my tasks.

hmm, I see laziness with the four of pentacles..lol to me I see people working hard and the person in the back is gaining all the profit from someone else's hard work..this is a selfish card in most decks lol..and it is also lack of skill, lack of providing for oneself.. the 9 though is a wonderful card..it is as close as individualism we can get really, we go out and do for ourselves , work hard and reap the rewards from it..usually the 9 is someone who is alone..however they choose to be, they are satisfied with themselves.

Do you think I am doing too many readings? I'm having fun with this...that is why I am doing it every day. But I notice that everyone else is not doing this many. Do you think it matters? Maybe if I do it every day I should change the question or type of spread to avoid conflicting cards and confusion. I figure that doing a one card draw with the same question every day would get a little redundant and I cannot follow something different every day. I could though switch it up and ask that question once or twice a week to see if I am making progress. Any thoughts on this?
