okay guys I think we are reading for a new study with a spread, however this is using one card only for a significator.. I have figured out a simple way to see what we should follow to manifest our wishes and achieve our goals.. okay so lay out the Ten Of Cups- this card is fullfilling in all areas of our lives, to me this card means that we are complete with our lives and that we are happy with everything around us, I choose this card as a significator because it is the ten representing endings/beginings of our lives, but this card covers it all , not like the aces of the deck.. so take out your ten of cups set it in front of you, now try to visualize yourself in the card,..what will make you feel full and complete? ask "how can I achieve this"? and shuffle the deck cut any way you choose draw a card and it should clarify if you have any blocks you must go through to get to the ten or what will bring the ten of cups to you or how you can achieve this.. okay guys let me know what cards you get..and if you need to draw two or three cards to help see how you can get to the ten of cups or perhaps your already there, if this is the case it will tell you what is surrounding you that brings this completion/wholeness..

So are we to shuffle, cut and draw with the ten of cups included or excluded? I'm assuming excluded but just want to make sure.

This is my ten of cups. (chalices) My card says to me it is alive and happy and there is reason to celebrate this sheer good fortune and joy. Regarding family friends and self.Like the cinderella story ( the little boy is holding a glass slipper) I already feel i am living the ten of cups. sheer bliss regarding my idea of a happy family and home. And i celebrate this everyday. I have gone through much and learnt much, and grown on all levels to be able to make the choices i have, that mattered, to land me here today. I followed my intuition, instincts, and feelings , higher self or whatever else it all can be called.i did not allow myself to think too much about my moves, i allowed my heart to speak and i listen, i feel truly blessed. But i pulled a second card just incase i was disillusioned,LOL!! I pulled the star ( twice today ) You can see my Star in my Tarot log, I dont think i really need to comment on my second card,It says it all. Dancing Bear

Here is my 10 of Chalices: Showing family unity...celebration of accomplishments...friends I then drew the 5 of Chalices: Tells me that I have had a turning point in the right direction. I still have work to do, but I have already come part of the way. I then drew another card to clarify further and drew Temperance: This card is telling me that I am having difficulty staying balanced and that I need to stay on course. I need to try to focus on what needs to be done instead of being pulled in too many directions.

good reading andin and your Temperance is interesting it bring a new reading to the card almost, the woman is looking at the goddess statue on the table while doing her work, perhaps again the balance between spritual and physical. andin I would like to see what the book says about this card.

The booklet says:
I like that..."Rhythm and flow"...kind of neat how they said that. I got another thought about this card too. Sort of reminds me of adult ADD...lol...you start concentrating on one thing and then the next minute your pulled away to do something else, which pulls you away to do something else, etc. until finally you forget what you were doing in the first place, which is what you should really have been doing all along. I do that all the time! Just look at me right now...I'm supposed to be doing some school work, but I keep on flitting around different internet sites instead...I have like five tabs up with my e-mail, ancestry.com, my college site, another forum, and then this forum. I keep on going back and forth when in reality I should just have one open--my college site.

Good idea lilacsky re Stars meaning I did not know how to put it so went the long way round, as I usually do. Because i always thought with a Card like this , I know it means, dreams and wishes comes true, But there is always a journey behind it as to why they have come true. A lot of work needs to go into spiritual enlightenment, earthly bliss, & prosperity. Could this card also mean it just is happening without all the hard work just because? Does that ever happen? I have not experienced it, but it is not to say it may never happen. confusing myself now, LOL i am trying to learn the cards by applyinig them to life experiences to understand them better.( just my way of understanding things). Also help me remember their meanings too!! Please bear with me Dancing Bear

Here is my 10 Cups. I see this card representing a content family who busies themselves with household chores or errands. There is also a sense of playfulness in the image with the cat pawing at the string. I can invision the male figure coming home to a happy house that is full of love and compassion. I drew the 8 Pentacles I see dedication to studies in this card. It seems as though the student has foregone anything around him in order to remain focused on his studies. I'm not real sure about the relation and my interpretation so I drew another card to clarify the 8 pentacles with the focus of acheiving 10 cups. I see hopes and dreams in this card. Almost fantasy like...with the rainbow and the idea of "wishing on a rainbow". Then again I also see the bubbles and what looks like fairy dust as representing delusions or wishful thinking. I view the dove as a symbol for hope and the ivy as a symbol for reaching out. Perhaps these two cards are telling me that I can easily be swayed off course, that my ultimate goal is within my reach but I have to work hard to achieve that goal. I really can't come up with a better or alternative interpretation of these cards. I hope that you all can offer another point of view. Perhaps I shouldn't have done this while not feeling well. But I did feel a strong pull toward these two cards, I just can't think clearly enough to read them completely.

hi anise, I know what you mean when you can't seem to see what the cards are saying to you, I think it happens to everyone.I see alot here for you actually, it says that you have a skill and that perhaps you are being blocked by the seven(too many options) and that maybe you just need to focus on the skill you have learned or wish to learn, but this skill I see is already there waiting for you to grab it and run with it..maybe right now you are not aware of what that is, but I think you will come into it or it will come to you. I think this is a perfect example of how we can achieve the ten of cups.so basicly it is saying that I can see is that once you make a decision stick to it, and focus on a skill that makes you feel complete or that fullfills you, and go for it! because when this happens I think all areas of your life will become full(ten of cups) with the 7 of cups there I think the 7 is actualy saying that there are more doors open to you than you think...there is opportunity all around you maybe you just can not see it right now.

Hmmm that makes sense. I just wish I knew what those skills and doors are right now. I have faith that I will find them when I'm ready. I have been very lucky in my life that things just seem to work out at the right time.

I think that they will come to you to, and I think that hope is pretty powerful and can alter our lives so that things work in our favor..lol, I draw the seven of cups alot and usually I see that it is telling me that Im clouded at the moment and not to make a decision on anything untill I can see clearly of what is around me.

andin, I think something is trying to tell you something you always draw the 5 of cups, now to me this card is saying you must let go of something, you are hanging on to something that does not serve you no longer, in the 5 we get lost in the past usually and can not accept nor appreciate what we have now in our lives in your card notice the man holding the cup behind her, however she choose's not to accept his cup but only the spilled ones on the ground, she is only interested in the spilled cups , however the cups are already spilled meaning there is nothing left in them, meaning nothing left to give..does this make sense? oh and yes I like the book meaning of your temperance I agree with it completely.. dancing bear, I see the star as a sign of spirituality more than anything, and in the mindane world I see it as we are protected and we are aligned with our inner selves. to me the star is a symbol to of following our inner selves nothing else, but I think I already said this lol..

Hey Guys In lightof all of the dreams i have been having lately and the revelations i have come to regarding my spiritual journey. I decided to do this spread again. Seeing the 10 of cups not only as dreams come true on the family front but also spiritual. My question was how do i acheive spiritually what i am looking for? I drew the Moon Isnt it amazing how the Tarot works? The moon to me is intuition, dreams and the manifestation of psychic powers, as well as feminine energy, soft, gentle, loving, nurturing, protective, and caring. The 2 dogs wild and domesticated, the lobster a reminder do not allow yourself to be deceivede by appearances, A gentle nip of a reminder.Keep alert. To me personally in light of my question, it says to me i need to take more notice of my dreams (as i am) Trust my journey, trust my instincts on this matter. Take note of the messages received in dreams and heed the inner voice of my intuition. Be kind, gentle, nurturing. patient & honest to myself along the way. the dogs are representing two sides of me that need to be acknowledged and worked upon to a happy medium, and confront my personal pains. Love and light Dancing Bear

Lilac...it all totally makes sense about the 5 of cups. I think the thing is now to figure out what it is that I need to throw away...lol. I have a lot of little things that I have been feeling are no longer needed anymore in my life...like I've outgrown them. Not possessions really, but things that I do that I am ready to let go...like they help me to get to where I am in my path now and though I am grateful for that, I don't feel I need them anymore. Or maybe it is something bigger that I just don't get right now, but I still think it is about the other. I guess if it is not then I'll probably keep on pulling this card until I get it right...lol.

dancing bear, great job on the reading of the moon and it makes complete sense with you working with your dreams/intuition, keep up the great work and I wish you luck on your spritual journeys! andin, only you know of what those things are I see the 5 of cups as a burden really on the emotional level because it is carrying something that still hurts us, though we choose not to let go of it. to me this is the biggest disapointment card in the deck, but it is us that choose to stay in the situation or tied to those hurtful emotions, there is hope with this card of course with every card.. im sure you will figure out and yes it could be material things or things we do or even beleive that no longer serve us, but since it is a cup card it is tied with the emotions on some level. I hope things work out for you! Im sure they will..
