Assignment 1 (work to do described in the lesson post (L2) ) 1 is a leader. It has both the brain and the drive to carve it's own path and to get a following. It has to stand out somehow. It's also self-reliant and not awfully good at being disagreed with. 2 is an harmony lover. It gets easily hurt and can't stand being alone. It despise arguments and always try to work things out even though it means conceding a lot. It can't help trying to sort people's problem out and promote more fairness. 3 is an Artist. It gets bored when not involved in creative activities due to his strong need to express itself, through whatever medium he masters. It's very fond of social activities and has a knack for being the center of attention at parties.. 4 is a builder. It could be a supervisor on a construction site. It's versed in mechanic engineering and other areas lots would find tedious or dull. He spends most of his time making sure his workers stick to it's detail-laden plan. Novelty or improvisation are the seeds of most disasters to it. 5 could be a travelling saleman. It abhors routine and can't keep his mouth shut for more than two minutes. It's ok in most situation owing to it's natural charm and sex-appeal. It wouldn't have trouble selling a fridge to an Eskimo, who'd be advised not to leave #5 and his wife too long by themselves. 6 could be a mother at home without much time to rest in between it's various chores, fixing meals, bruises, doing the laundry… and making the house pretty. If she had to get a job, Nurse or anything involving attending to kids would be a first pick. 7 is a seeker. Could be a scientist or a wise man. It's most precious assets are it's books and the silence of it's secluded home which enables him to meditate over all the quirky/edgy questions buzzing in it's brain. 8 could be a top executive in the corporate world. It'd do wonders thanks to his team leader and organization skills. The mere gain of market shares for his company or seeing his project materialized would be a great reward in itself. 9 is a humanitarian. It feels love on a universal level and wants to teach other people what it learned through the years and relieve their predicaments. Misery and sorrow on the news affect it deeply.

Following a PM I received, I'm copying the work to do here : Meditate over the descriptions and try to picture how the characters representing the numbers would think, feel or act in their life, at home or at work, what would cheer them up, or turn them off,… Then come up with at least 2 "positive" and "negative" qualities they'd be likely to display. If you feel like getting further and developping it into mini texts, go for it. Post your answers or comments/questions if you have any in this thread. Thanks

okay well I have only done a few numbers I have not had much time, but there is no time limit is there on doing these? 1= I see one's often demanding yet independent. I think their ego plays a major role in their life.(just a hunch)I would say these people can be selfesh as well, if they do not get their way look out! also I see natural leaders here but they must push aside their ego in order to be truly successful.they can also be demanding. I would say the occupation of these folks are possibly lawyers/buisnessman/sales people..lol 2=I see the two as perhaps someone who is a bit needy, or willing to sacrifice themselves for others.(maybe a bit to giving) I see a natural balance with these people perhaps mascaline and feminine sides work together in harmony. a good communicator as well, able to help others and connect with most people with their understanding.

Yes, the thing with due dates is people feel bad when they can't meet them so I didn't put any.
That's very good so far. You're right on track and you have a good balance between the positive and negative. Keep up the good work when you have time.

I see #1's about the same as Ronni, maybe a little to add. I see them as hardworking, self-motivated and intolerant of others opinion and ways of doing things.
I see #2's as peaceful, understanding, good mediators and loyal. Negatively maybe too clinging and over emotional at times.
I see #3's as good communicators, actors, performers, counselors maybe. If they should not be able to find a way to express them self, maybe become depressive, exaggerate the truth at time.
That is as far as I've gone with it so far.

That's very good too linda. I'll just wait a couple of days to comment on a few details in case other OWers would like to post before getting the whole spolier.

thank you watchman..and cc lol I agree completely here with you.. this number just comes off as bossy to me as well..and a bit narrow minded.but the benefit of these people are probably more for themselves than for others, does that make sense? 2's- I wanted to add that their jobs/careers entail probably counselers/healing/teachers.. I would say these people work better with others than alone. 3's-I get a sense of ego again here but on a more positive note, using it in adversity not against others but to gain the attraction or views in a more positive way than the 1 would do..lol perhaps a family oriented type person not sure..just guessing hehe.. Im a bit stumped on the 3..Ill have to get back to this one later..

I just got another impression on 3's as I was reading through this again. I got the impressiom of them liking to clown around /joke , comedians, also they may be a little hot temper or lose their temper at times.

okay 4's to me scream those that lay the foundations of this world lol perhaps those that literally build things from the ground up or those that lay the seeds of ideas for building on. maybe those that work too much and neglecting other things in there lives, such as family.. (another hunch) again I see buisness oriented people here as well. Impersonal, motivators, those that manifest and bring things to fruitation, they are not just buisnessmen but the ones who take a stance and even gain recognition in glory and fame for what they build. corperations....

LoL! Ronni, I guess that could be a negative five. They are the happy go lucky, no care about tomorrow kind of person. They are versatile , multi-talented, adventureous sort. Being as they don't care for routine, they would not be good at tedious, boring jobs. They would be good at motivating people so they would make good teachers. On the negative side they may be a little irresponsible, self indulgent or self serving. I didn't do four's. I see them as practical, down to earth, trustworthy type, with a strong will power to finish what they start. On the down side they could be narrow minded or repressive, maybe work-aholic type. Kind of the opppsite of five's. Six's are nurturers, feeling useful makes them happy. They are supportive and always ready to help. Generous and understanding. Home family and and friends are very important to them. They are magnetic, people are drawn to them. On the down side they can get overwhelmed with too many responsibilities or feel they are a slave to others. They put people on a pedestal which then topples. Seven's are loners as well as seeker for they dislike crowds, noise and confusion. They are intellectual, analytical, studious, the scientist/wise men part of them. They rely on their intuition a lot. They love nature. If they don't have faith they can become cynical and maybe escape through drugs, alcohol, etc. On the down side they can be pessimistic, quarrelsome. secretive. Eight's-- I know eight is the money number. They have a big need to be successful so they are competitive. They are honest to the point of being blunt which makes them seem insensitive at times. But they do feel deeply about everything in their life. On the down side they can be dictatorial and suppress the enthusiasm and efforts of others. Material gains and rewards can become highlly importatnt to them. Nine's --since they are the humanitarians, they would be compassionate, generous, honorable. They would make good judges, spiriual leaders, or doctors. They would have a desire to help others, but they can find themselves feeling use or let down by others. They often feel unloved, abandoned and it's hard for them to let go of the past. Whew! I'm through with my assignment. I feel like i'm in school. Hehe! ;D

Great job cc. I'm impressed you've already finished. Now we're just waiting for Ronni before we review all the posts.
Ronni, it would really be interesting to study the numbers of a couple of mass murderers to see how their energies manifest themselves. If anyone is up for it, we shall, later

LOL! Ronni, that had me thinking all evening about you saying five's could be mass murders and you know I think those happy go lucky people would not likely be a murderer. I think most murderers would probably be those competitive 8's who are sooooo into money and lots of murders have been committed because of money you know. Also there are a lot of mad doctors and scientists out there (you know the movies) so we would need to consider those cynical 7's and those "won't let go of the past" 9's. Hehe

1. I see as someone who thrives on attention. Who thinks they are better than others in some way. I also see this number as having the ability to get things done. They don't rest and have to always be on the go. They are dedicated to what they do in whatever they are doing. I see my brother as a number one.
2. The yin and yang of numbers. A complete mixture of opposites. I see this as someone who understands the importance of balance and tries to keep things balanced. I also see this as someone who may let their own personal ideas interfere with seeing things from a different angle. I see my grandmother in this card.
3. The true "center of attention" number. I see this as someone who is not happy unless they are the "life of the party". There is no limit to what they can and will do to get that attention. One who can adapt to any situation so they never feel awkward. Contrastly I see this number as representing someone who can get a bit annoying. I see my best friend in this number.
4. Someone who lives by a strict code of conduct. They are on a particular path (whatever that may be) and can't be pushed off course. Once they get their mind set on something there's no stopping or turning back until the task is complete. I see this person as a "hard-ass" (excuse my choice of words-can't think of anything else to express my thoughts otherwise). A boss figure or someone who is in control. I see my grandfather in this number.
5. Someone who is always on the go. High-strung comes to mind. I see this number as representing a person whose mind is always running at full speed. Someone who has a lot of ideas but doesn't put those ideas into action. Either because they don't have the time (as they are always thinking of several things at once) or because they don't think things through enough for the idea to fully mature.
6. A nurturer. Someone who is loving and caring and always will find the time for family and friends. One who can juggle several things at once and have no problems doing it. I see this person as someone who doesn't take time for themselves. They are too busy doing for others. I see my sister-in-law in this number
7. I see this number as someone who is knowledgable. Someone who enjoys using brain power if for nothing else than to just have a better understanding of themselves. I feel this person can easily turn into a hermit and be quite content with having nothing to do with the outside world.
8. To me, the symbol of infinity. I see this number as representing someone who strives to reach the top. They are always working toward the end result. They have a goal and have the will and determination to meet that goal. I can see where this can make a person oblivious to things around them. They can get caught up in achieving a goal and forget about the finer things in life.
9. Love for all. I see this number as someone who will go the extra distance to help those in need. I can see this as a person who will petition for a cause without a second thought. I see this as a person who lives a simple life with little glamour. I see this person as someone who lives by themselves in small apartment and only has the essentials needed to survive. I see this as a person who can run into financial difficulties.

Also there are a lot of mad doctors and scientists out there (you know the movies) so we would need to consider those cynical 7's and those "won't let go of the past" 9's. Hehe OK, so I checked out some serial killers' numbers and the results are pretty stunning so far. We'll see that in detail later. But just to give some food for your thought cc. Unabomber (who was a scientist) does have a major 7 in his chart. Nice to see you jump in Kelly. You did really good too. Get back to you soon. Btw, is it me or there's a big difference in productivity among those who play Lineage 2 and those who don't? hehe...
