Assignment #2 We're going to set up some groups of numbers which have a quality in common and try to explain very simply how they differ in their expression. It'll both help getting a clearer vision of each number and how they can strengthen or mitigate each other when packed up together in someone's chart. For example, the risk of bulliness entailed by having lots of numbers from the leader group can be smoothened out by numbers from the caring group. I'm going to define 5 main groups (the list isn't exhaustive) and will precise how many numbers I'd put in them. They're split into a core and an outer group. I'll explain what it means below. The Leader group : 4 numbers (Those which can handle managing/leading people) core group : 2 numbers outer group : 2 numbers The stand-out group : 4 numbers Those which would have an urge to stand out from the mass. core group : 3 numbers outer group : 1 numbers The creative group : 6 numbers core group (artistic) : 3 numbers outer group : 3 numbers The analytical group : 6 numbers core group : 2 numbers outer group : 4 numbers The caring group : 5 numbers core group : 3 numbers outer group : 2 numbers The core group will gather the numbers for which the quality acts in the foreground. The outer group will see that quality more as a byproduct of their essence. For example, I'd put 1 and 6 in the leader group. Including the short (one sentence max) justification describing its inner drive, here's what it could look like in your assignment : The Leader group core group : 1 : obvious ... outer group : 6 : it's sense of duty towards the community will somehow cause it to manage people to make sure they do things "the right way" … You can skip the justification of 1 and 6 for this group unless you have a different take on it.

Sorry for being late Kelly. I should have more time to spend on the board now.
I'll first comment on your answers then I'll post mine in a new post for easier reference. The Leader group: 4 numbers (Those, which can handle managing/leading people) Core group: (2 numbers) 1 A natural leader, self-sufficient, and ambitious. 8 Strives higher, takes control, and seeks power status. Both Correct. Outer group: (2 numbers) 2 Leadership is not important, but making a contribution to the team effort is 6 Leads by example and assumption of responsibility You got 6 right. Owing to it's empathy, liking for harmony, 2 is more of a diplomat/counsellor that'll try smoothing things out when two 1 and/or 8 leaders butthead. It's also too sensitive to be a leading force and would be likely to procrastinate/fail to act when a difficult decision is needed I picked 9 instead. The standout group: 4 numbers (Those, which would have an urge to stand out from the mass.) Core group: (3 numbers) 3 Outgoing has a joy for life, imaginative, and enthusiastic. 5 Seeks a life of freedom, variety, curiosity, adventure, detachment and progress. 7 Loner, the philosopher, the deep thinker who seeks peace, trust, spirituality and wisdom Yes to 3 and 7. 5 isn't irrelevant at all. I put him in the outer group because he doesn't have that ego drive to come off as different from others. It's too self-absorbed for that. More about it below.
Outer group: (1 number) 9 Humanitarian, compassionate, romantic, selfless, generous, philanthropic, loving, wisdom, idealist. 9 would be the opposite of what the stand-out group represents, the expression of individuality. It sees Mankind as a whole group and revels in finding out what all human beings, including itself, have in common. The creative group: 6 numbers (Artistic) Core group: (3 numbers) 3 Seeks social settings, known as being giving and creative. 6 Is likely to have artistic and creative leanings. 9 Looks for solutions from the inspirational, intuitive and creative worlds. Perfect.Outer group: (3 numbers) 2 Path of cooperation, following instructions, gentleness, peace, and companionship. 4 It signifies work and productivity. Four is constructive, realistic, traditional and cautious. It is the number of system, order and management. 8 It is the executive decision-maker and tends to be rather formal, stern and hardheaded. More comfortable in the realm of material, tangible facts I didn't include 2 in the creative group because it's overall more of consumer than a producer. 4 neither because it's tried and true approach, often supported by a sheer lack of imagination tend make it rather dull. I could have added 8 to the group but it's more ressourceful/adaptative than creative in the intellectual sense, which to me has to display some sort of originality/inspiration. I'm not saying 8 is not capable of that but since it's goal-driven and like any good project manager, it will save it's resources as much as possible, investing time in coming up with an original approach will be the last option when everything else has failed. The analytical group: 6 numbers Core group: (2 numbers) 4 It signifies work and productivity, constructive, realistic, traditional and cautious. 7 Mysterious, organized, analytical, spiritual All good.Outer group: (4 numbers) 2 This number suggests that the person is generally supportive and that issues of intimacy and diplomacy are at work. 3 Its energy is youthful, enlivening and enthusiastic... like a child. 6 This number symbolizes nurturing, caring, harmony... the earth-mother type. 9 It's the dreamer and feels at home in the realm of the arts, medicine, religion, drama -- philosophy and metaphysics.
Yes to 6. The analytical group is associated with the logical, left side of the brain and 2, 3 and 9 express qualities of the right side. 2 and 9 by their emotion laden vibes and 3 owing to it's creativity. I chose 1, 5 and 8.The caring group: 5 numbers Core group: (3 numbers) 2 Loving, cooperative, good communicator 6 Family oriented, responsible, romantic, and nurturing. 9 Perfectionist, compassionate, intuitive and creative Yes.Outer group: (2 numbers) 1 Self sufficient, determined, natural leader, innovative 8 Often lack feeling for those who stand in the way of goals and must learn compassion. 8,yes. My justification is a little different though. I chose 4 instead of 1. (1 is self-centered by nature).
I have to congratulate you because it's one of the most difficult assignments and you did really good. I'm posting my answers below. Let me know if you want any clarification or have any comment.

The Leader Group: Inner Group: 1: 1 leads by example. And doesn’t have to make much effort to get a following. People turn to 1 for the self-confidence it radiates and it’s ability to succeed. 8: 8 knows big projects can’t be achieved alone. He’ll set up and manage the team it needs and will give everyone a feeling their input is essential, whether it’s sincere or not. 8 are usually very charismatic. Outer Group: 6: It’s sense of duty can lead it to grab more authority to ensure everyone makes things the right way. It’s objectivity, common sense and capability to see the whole picture usually guarantee a smooth rulership. 9: Not too different from 6 in its “social” consciousness but less likely to compromise if meeting opposition since it’s more emotion-driven and motivated by it’s own vision than common interest. Like Bethra stated it, there’s a risk of 9 turning into a guru if things get out of hand.
The Stand-Out Group : Inner Group: 1: It’s mainly the ego at work.1 loves being admired and wouldn’t get it lost in the mass. 3: There’s also a yearn for admiration for 3, but it’s more to having it’s creative skills acknowledged. 7: Since 7 is wired to wander off the beaten path, it tends to stand out by excluding itself from the group.. Outer Group: 5: 5 having a sensuous nature, it’s urge to stand out in it’s charming ways is tied to expectation to reap material/physical rewards from it, added to it’s abhorrence of routine that leads to it to experimentation.
The Creative Group : Inner Group: 3: 3 is driven by self-expression and would be well advised to find a creative outlet if it wants to spare the repressed side of 3 to its relative. Statistically, it seems to appear more often in the charts of writers and performers. 6: the 6 creativity derives from it’s love of Beauty, which is often noticeable in it’s home. As a result it’s often expressed through visual arts or music. 9: The inspiration of 9 tends to come from pain which it can transcend through Arts when endowed with a peculiar talent in that department. A 9's material is rarely not moving. Bob Dylan is a good example of 9 at work. Outer Group: 1: It’s based on it’s self-reliance abilities which enable it to adapt to situations never experienced before. 5: 5 having a sensuous nature, it’s urge to be creative is tied to expectation to reap material/physical rewards from it, added to it’s abhorrence of routine that leads to it to experimentation (same reason as in the stand-out group). 7: 7 tend to live in a mental world of it’s own. It often doesn’t realize what it churns out is such a big deal until noticing people’s puzzled faces.
The Analytical group: Inner Group: 4: 4 needs to get things done, make sure they work and is fully equipped for that. It's specialized in down-to-earth, material problems, tried-and-true solutions though. 7: The counter part to 4 in the world of thoughts, either intellectual or spiritual. Loves to investigate the unknown. On the other hand, it may feel inadequate or bored if asked to deal with mundane problems. Outer Group: 1: based on it’s self-reliance abilities which enable it to adapt to situations never experienced before. (Same reason as in the previous group) 5: from it’s social engineering skills it developed to obtain what it wants. 6: Comes from the Mother Hen type of practical intelligence. 8: an analytical brain is one of the tools it needs for coming up with the shortest road to success.
The Caring Group : Inner Group: 2: it’s first drive is to offer care and affection because of it’s sensitivity but also expecting the same in return. On another hand, it can be affected by other people’s problem due to it’s empathy kind projecting it into people’s predicament, or it can get involved to get signs of appreciations trying to fix their problem. It’s important for 2 to watch out for selfish/manipulative motives. 6: It’s the number most likely to be found in the chart of a mother at home but is as well very common in nurses’. It’s sense of duty gives it enough detachment to be actually effective in dealing with and fixing nasty stuff. 9: 9 feels an universal connection to other human beings and dreams of relieving their pain, but being very emotional it wouldn’t stand well the sight of other people's physical wounds, like a 6 would. It’s better at showing compassion but has to learn to set boundaries to be of any help. Outer Group: 4: Need for Security and Fear of the unexpected happen to make 4 very caring to it’s loved ones. Could lead to dictatorial attitudes if taken too far. 8: With it’s tendency to see relationships as another area of challenge and way of proving it’s management/social skills, 8 is commonly a good and caring provider.
