So which deck is your favorite that you use or just in general?
I only have one now, but I can't seem to read it as well as I would like and I decided to be old school and buy the rider-waite. ;D
The imagery on my current tarot deck isn't as clear and I actually read it "wrong." Or at least not how it was made to be read.

Im using the mythic tarot , its very simple to me yet vibrant with words when i read them...check it out you may like. I read the book for it first than years later found it had a deck so i had to have it.

Ooo looking at the pictures it looks really nice. Yes simple, but I feel like simple decks are more accurate, at least that's what I've noticed lately with the rider-waite. How many decks do you have?

Very nice. Are those oracle decks?
I have 2 decks. The old Rider Waite and Animals Divine tarot. Unfortunately it's hard for me to read animals divine...I'm not sure why. I've kind of gotten used to it...but it's never as specific as the rider waite.

Druidcraft and buckland romani are tarot.. Gyspys fortune telling cards and lenormand are oracle. I love the medicine cards.. which is animals.. Dont know about animals divine. i will google. For soem reason I was never able to get into the rider waite deck.. I have 2 rider waites only for historical reasons , but was never able to read them. Same wth the Thoth i have a greeny which again is collectable.. but not hard to get i dont htink.. Again that deck as fasinating as it is. i cant read with it.. I would love to be able to.. as i find th images fasinating as i do egypt and the Kabbalah.. which are incorporated. I think I have too many decks really. I need to stick with just one and master that one.. I guess that is why i only read for others with the one deck and that is the druidcraft. I can relate. and it speaks volumes for me. if you scroll down a little in this site you will see the druidcraft Druidcraft tarothere the buckland romani tarot.. these ones i am studying..I only read them for myself like the medicine cards Buckland Romani tarotHere are the lenormands mine are in english www.lepalaisdutarot.com/Tarot/LenormandS2.jpg

All of them are beautiful! How many cards are in the lenormand deck? That's very interesting! Some cards just speak to people in different ways and some don't speak at all. Or...maybe it's the other way! Some cards let you speak through them, others don't. How long have you been reading tarot?

What do you like about those decks? Are they easy to read? Beautiful art? I'm curious to know.

I love Rider Waite as I learnt on this deck & it has always been very easy for me to read! The deck is really clear & I get a lot of info when using them.
Druidcraft has absolutely beautiful artwork, Its my fiances deck & I totally love it..wish it was mine ☺
The Pagan Tarot I was just drawn to, I love how it is about the modern day witch which really related to me!
I've always been interested in the Thoth deck, I feel the deck is more advanced and a good challenge, I like how the deck feels.
Mystic Faerie has beautiful artwork & I love faeries, I don't like how the pictures don't say much..they are harder to read than all my other decks
I love the Soprafino, It has an old look to the deck which I love, this is like none of the other decks I own, It has a traditional deck feel to it if that makes sense

nice,....I have too many decks to name, and honestly I only use two as of right now and one is the mythic and the other is the spiral, again simple with vibrant colors, I dont like alot of stuff on the cards lol it tends to get in the way of my inital feel of the card as Im doing readings, some decks are just way to busy lol

Very nice Earthfaerie and I agree with you Lilac. Even if the art is beautiful, if it's too distracted, then it's hard to read.

yes, and I collect most decks and put them on display like I have a vampire one that is just awesome looking but I cant read from it, and have you guys noticed that make the cards very flimsy now adays, like the old decks were thicker cards, I dont like this cheap stuff their using now with the cards, it makes them so delicate I dont even wanna pick them up lol

Hey earthfaerie, it's kind of funny, my favorite deck is actually the Druidcraft Tarot, but it's not mine, it's my husband's. I tried to coax it out of him saying that he never uses it anyway, but he won't give it up ha ha ha Truth be told, I haven't done tarot for a while.
Oh, DB, I see Druidraft was your favorite too. I didn't realize that. Hey, do you have a new favorite now, DB? How has the Rider Waite one been treating you? I really enjoyed the fairy one I traded you for that one, although I need to dig it up again. It sort of has airy light feel about it and it's nice for sorting feelings out in a gentle way.
The only deck that I have seriously worked with has been my Gilded Tarot back. It has gorgeous bold artwork and some of the images, like the High Priestess come back in my mind, when I'm out and about. I don't think I really ever LOVED it though, just liked.

the gilded tarot is a cool deck Ive used that one also for many years, very cool designs that I enjoyed because they were basicly dark with splashed of color that helped me out with many readings, I find the more decks you get to know, you are also expanding your intuition on the cards since some are so differant than others, it helps put it all back together again in perspective.

Gosh you guys are so advanced! ;D I don't know about the flimsiness of my tarot decks...I don't have old enough ones to know! I think you're right about knowing more decks gives you more reading power. I think it would be interesting to do a side-by-side comparison study of individual cards in all your decks!

I remember I was involved in the one...where we kind of went through each card and examined our thoughts pertaining to each. I shall consider some ideas for another study though!
