Your First spell that worked?

Mine was when some guy shot up 4 police officers.He hadnt been caught in a few days so I sat in my room with lemon tea in my hand and all I thought was karma.I kept saying in my head"Karma,karma,karma"I woke up the next day went to school and when I came home my mom told me a police officer had shot that guy and he died.I felt so weird.I knew it wasnt a coincidence.There were probably other people praying for those police officers justice too maybe that helped?
Idk I wanna know what was your first spell that worked?

hmm, well spells are exactly the same thing as prayer IMO, and my first one was nursing my mom back to health years ago I took a picture of her and I dancing and lit a blue candle and simply focused my energy on heaing her and seeing her dance and laugh over and over again than I made my inscense and I burned it in the window cill, letting my energies out into the world and eventually to her, I think it helped honestly because thought can really manifest here however it is usually at a slow rate, but with an abundance of thought directed towards something the outcome can be quite swift and I truely believe that.

I don't remember the first spell I did even. Lilac I think you're right about prayer. And in my opinion, all spells work with time. You just have to be patient and look for signs. A lot of the time the spell won't manifest how you imagined! That's just the way of the universe.

its all about manipulation really, once you can hone something, its yours to set free and send it off to someone/somwhere else. I do it all the time lol

um well its a full moon, and Im prolly gonna pick a window to sit in front of tonight and set up shop, basicly say Im wanting a new job, what I do is take clippings from the newspaper or even a magazine of my desired job or what I wish to achieve and set those up in front of me, of course Ill have candles proly orange for inspiration and new energies, and my own inscense which I have to make still, but im gona to do thsi tonight and im gonna just focus on seeing my desired job come to me and Ill do this for a good hour or so untill I feel I have sent my energies out(window) into the world...you should try it, but while your focusing, its important to see yourself doing the job you desire and being happy doing it ;D

I know this is an old thread, but I found it, read through it and have to bring it back to life again.  I like to do 'simple magic' myself and I also feel like you posted, LilacSky, that it is the same thing as prayer.  I know a lot of people would not agree, but I can't help but to see it as so.  I won't argue the point because its all my opinion and theirs as well.

Now, I don't recall my 'first spell' but I can recall when I was in school, I had one ability that my sister and friends were all quite interested in.  I was always able to get the guy they wanted to date to ask them out.     It sounds really crazy, I know, because I could do this without ever talking to the guy directly or anyone else, save the girl who wanted the date.  

What I would do was that when the girl came to me to ask me to have that certain guy ask them out, I'd sit alone and close my eyes and just 'see' it coming to be.  I'd imagine the guy calling them on the phone or coming up to them, and asking them out.  Generally, this would end up happening really quickly after I did this.  Though, I'd encourage my friends and sisters to keep it to themselves, because I didn't want too many people coming to me and taking advantage of my unusual gift.  It was a well guarded secret that worked well.  

It worked for myself too, and I can remember while in High School, being quite upset and irritated if my 'boyfriend' didn't get in touch with me for a few days.  I think everyone can remember just how important this was to you in those all important High School days.    So, I'd do the same thing--sit and concentrate on my boyfriend calling me on the phone or showing up at my home.  It would always work, too, but not only just with boyfriends, but also with anyone--girl friends, relatives, etc.  

I guess it was similar, now that I think about it, to the spell my mother taught us as her mother taught her and her mother taught and so on and so on.  If you need to be in touch with a person whom you can't get ahold of, take an article of clothing or anything you have of theirs, and close it in a door.  If all you have is a necklace of the person, then tie a ribbon to it, and shut the ribbon into the door jam.  The person will be in touch with you within a few hours.  My family has always done this and it has always worked for them too.

I do recall that to hurry it along when I would do it with my mind and not by shutting anything in a door jam, that if I sat near running water or sat IN the water, (such as a bath), it would happen even faster.  Water is a very good conduit for things like this.

We also recently purchased a vacation home on the water, and I did put out the request to our ancestors to help us get this home as I really, really wanted it.  The whole thing was really bizarre though, as this was waterfront property--a turnkey home with 180 feet of water frontage, and a nice new dock to boot.  Only two of us actually viewed the home, though it was on the market for over a month when we first saw it.  We were the only ones who bidded on the home and of course we won.  The house was marked below value, because the people were in a hurry to move.  You'd think a home like this would've been in the middle of a bidding war!  We did see quite a few homes on the water, but all the other homes were fixer uppers--and much more then this home.  We still marvel that we found this little gem of a home and no one seemed to find it.  The realtor even forgot to put this home on the realtors website, which was one of things that happened in our favor.  That is UNHEARD OF! Especially as she is a top rated realtor who wins awards all the time.  But, we found this home and we got it! And, I KNOW it is all due to our ancestors and guides who I prayed to - to help us find a home on the water that wasn't a fixer upper and within a certain price range.
