Hi everyone ;D I really would like for us to get some type of study going even if its one day a week we can get together and discuss our progress I think it would still be fun and help alot of us old timers and new comers that wish to learn more about obe's, we could even start with something simple for lucid dreaming to launch us further down the road with more indepth studies.. if anyone has any ideas please list them here, and we can go from here on....hopefully some of you will participate, like I said maybe start off with simple tests of lucid dreaming... let me know what ya'll think!! thank ya!

Yes, simple for me works right now. I'm starting to get back into writing my dream recall. I'm reading a really great book, that I've been meaning to pick up for a while. It's called Conscious Dreaming by Robert Moss. It's a great book for dream basics. If other people wanted to join in reading it, we could discuss as we read chapter by chapter and try some of the exercises. That's my idea

I was gonna say, how about his book Dreamgates? Seems like it would be more instructional. Conscious Dreaming is more stories about dreams and while we want basic, I feel it is a little too basic almost. Like it doesn't go into depth, just scratches the surface of dreams' meanings and possible helpfulness. It talks a lot about things we already came to know, like the fact that our soul talks to us in dreams and how some dreams can predict real events, etc. I think the way this group works with dreams is so much more about soul level stuff and not ordinary life events, or maybe they are the same? But anyway, I change my vote to Dreamgates! I don't have it yet, but it was going to be my second read after Conscious Dreaming anyway. How about, then, we set a date to start with our study, say 10.10.10 cause it's just a cool date Meanwhile, everyone's assignment is to write down their dreams! I will post up some excerpts from Conscious Dreaming, that seem most relevant and instructional on the basics it all. OOoh, I'll go start a new thread. Everyone can post up their ideas on the basics!

I've read Conscious Dreaming as well though it was back like 10 years ago or more. And agree that it's a very basic book on dreaming. I too vote that Dreamgates would be a more fulfilling and challenging progect to tackle. I'm all for it.
