Does anyone believe that a poltergiest or what they call a lost soul could communicate through us in a Ouija Board? I was just wondering because when I was like 13 years of age I used to play with one. It would actually work if I used it by myself and it was making my phone ring all the time when I used it. It started spelling out bad things to me. I could "feel" the bad presence in the room, and when I stood up I felt like I was going to pass out. Well that freaked me out enough, so I wrapped it in a white sheet and threw it out in a dumpster. Gave me the creeps!!

Honestly I have messed with them as well, but what I think happens is it is like tarot it opens up our subconscious, and we can tap into it and perhaps we can manipulate the energy around us easier since we are useing our entire minds, ya know
I think with talking boards it allows us to do the same thing as well as speak to spirits, but it is not the board but our minds that control the board talking, which is coming from the subconcious and unconscious levels.

well here is my response I added to the group as well,

hey lady butterfly, thanks for the reply, this is an interest of mine, I don't know what I think, but I do know that if we are "open" enough we can perhaps be possessed, but I think it is very rare again, and that it is possible for it to happen today but not as possible as the elder times, ya know. I think that if we allow them to harm us they can, though I am still unsure of the measures of this and how much they can do, It is scarey , but from personal expereinces I am not afraid of it anymore, I use to be alot as a kid, but the more I grew up and my awareness grown I began having obe's and finding myself paralyzed, and I could sence something there, and it became a reacurring dream untill I actually became possessed by it, but not too much happend I felt it in me, and I could n't move, it moved my astral body for me, and than I woke up, but I think I beat it, becuse it never happend again, and I still don't know if it was my subconscous that created this or an actual being, it felt like an actual being laid in my body....

I think that Ouijas open portals into the lower astral realms somehow. That is why only bad or negative things happen to people when they use it. I've read that the lower realms are where the darker spirits are placed.

hmm, interesting lisa, I wonder though, I don't know if I can agree with ya on that, but it is possible, I have messed with one for a while, I had a very old one, the board had a differant box as well, and on the cover was a man in a cape, the box was black, and it had a real needle in it, I found it at a flea market, but I must say I didn't get any responses from it, though I began seeing strange things in my house, but nothing bad, in fact they were balls of light, and I would be sleeping and all of sudden i would wake up for no reason and look at the foot of my bed and I saw a round glowing light, It made me feel safe, so I just went back to sleep, maybe the board or any object that we feel we can transfer information through is all based on our beleifs,
I do know that our beliefs mold what we expereince.

:)Hey Lisastar! Yeah, what you say does make sense, and I only say that because a couple other people I know who have been on a Ouija board said they had wierd or bad feelings during their encounter. But who knows, I could be wrong too! I wonder some spirits, good or bad could tell you the future though.. When I was thirteen I was on the board and it told me I would be married with two children.... I'm 30 now and married with two kids!
