Well I thought to help move things along we can choose one Rune a week and everyone can put their own interpretation to it. Keeping to the basic meaning to the rune. There will be no right or wrong readings here.. what we are trying to do is develop everyones individual style of reading the Runes. As we all have had different experiences we have developed different views. Here is a link just in case you dont have referance at home. www.sunnyway.com/runes/meanings.htmlAnyone can post up next weeks Rune in here too!! So Please feel free... This weeks Rune. QUESTION; How will everyone go interpreting the Runes their own way. I chose Ehwaz. Good Luck to Everyone!! Modified this post to just call it Community Rune reading rather than Weekly Rune.

Anyway no bite yet huh!!! I'll start then K!! But someone else has to put up the next Rune. I chose Ehwaz it should have been Isa LOL!! All jokes aside i will attempt interpret the rune in regard to the question. Ehwaz is not only movement it also is to do with the cycle of the sun. I think in the druid times with the travellers from sun up to sun down.... So would think they would use movement as in a time factor.. ( I could be wrong) but my interpretation anyway.. Like dont move until sun set Ehwaz (reversed) because Tiwaz (warriors ahead) hehe... Sorry in one of those moods today. seeing the funny in everthing . In relation to the study group it could mean it aint going to happen until everyone gets out of bed LOL!!! Sorry Guys having fun again. Seriously.. Movement with Ehwaz is positive, enlightening, improving and or bettering ones view, Knowledge and position. Gradually and steadily. Ehwaz is to do with the horse and sharing , sharing of the bond between horse and rider. So in light of the group and Study, This Rune is saying gradually all will be enlightened, and see the runes with new perspective, gathering knowledge, sharing knowledge creating a bond between Runes and their Users and also maybe a bond between the peoples within the group, through their sharing. More light on this reading is more than welcome? ? Dancing Bear

OH MY GOODNESS! I drew Perdhro reversed - Events stalled, you need to clear out something. Do not expect too much at this time.

Ok! I'm back. Reversed Berkana is councelling against expecting too much. LOL!! How appropriate. It speaks of scattered energies Things that happen that are beyond our manipulation, Maybe path of Fate,... something fixed,... meant to be. In a communual sense would mean everyone has so much going on.... life changes and or things that we have no control over. Our energy is not focused on Runes at the moment. Keep smiling it will get moving once everyone has got themselves into a routine and in my case Mopped up, as this Rune denotes many shifts and changes have happened, Sometimes these changes are difficult to share...it would mean for everyone in this study of runes Changes have happened which restricts your envolvement. So a bit of perserverance and Humility we will get through.
I went through Mosoonal rains and got flooded out then a week later experienced a Catagory 5 Cyclone that hit the coast. We have been upside down and still mopping up. Luckily where we live we only experience say Catagory 3 winds. Very destructive none the less, but we survived. So this is my Berkana Reversed. (Events beyond my control )My Scattered energy focused on mopping up and getting our life back to normal or the very least another routine.

The question was will this topic of rune readings continue? Lagus/Lake This represents the emotional and imaginative aspects of life. I am open to intuitive feelings at this time and are growing more sensitive to subtle and hidden undercurrents. Flexibility enables me to go with the flow of events. I guess this means for me to be patient and continue in my own studies. When the time is right we will continue as a group. This card is also an empathic card, but I don't see where this comes in to play with this question.

Gorgeous card Lady Bleu, Yes I think we all are pretty busy with lots of things... Yes LAguz definately says go with the Flow... The flow should be a little faster I agree, Empathy can also be addressing the plights of all within the group.. Empathy to project ones personality into to be able to fully understand/comprehend. The object of contemplation.. Maybe if you picked up on that maybe it is meant just for you ... I will get back into it I promise Have you had a really good look into your cards Lady Bleu, they are so fasinating and full of symbolism.. A bit like Tarot are.. Have you tried concentrating on each individual card and intuitively interpret its meaning according to you and not a book.. I am doing this in Tarot and Oracle cards. I am going through my entire collection, so they all have a personal individual meaning for me.. I might even think of starting an Intuitive RUne thread if you like.. What we do is draw a 1-3 Rune spread for someone that has registered their interest, but you do not know who this is until the last minute.. You do your reading, read the Rune without the book.. Then I post up your partner, You then resist on making adjustments to your reading and just post up the original reading and see how you go.. It is a great way to get to know your Runes intimately.. I think because we all use different divinatino systems it would be interesting to choose whatever you like to use.. We are all in the same boat so whatever we come up with whether it be on the mark or not, it does not matter it is all a learning curb adn it also helps us develop our intuition. When I have time i will post a thread for sign up.. thanks for the inspiration

Am I getting better? Most of this was after I read the books interpretation, then I set the card down and came back to it later. I did kinda pick up on the empathy for the group but I wasn't sure. I just do love this deck. I still use my stones but not as often as the cards. Your idea sounds wonderful. Will be a great way to learn the cards themselves and the stones for that matter. I am having so much fun, but am not taking this lightly. I still pray to my Goddess before each reading for guidance. It still is fun though, lol Blessed Be

I am glad you are feeling more confidant with them..You seem to be doing pretty well with your interpretations.. You know soemtimes I up pick up something from a rune that has nothing to do with the original meaning and it normally is correct. So i think you picking up on Empathy with htis rune is also correct.. I know most of us are Empaths here. So maybe it means we are understanding and patient with this runes thread, beacause we are all busy.. We understand and know how it feels to want to do the runes but cant seem to find a lot of time to put into it.. We all are plodding along at our own pace and posting when we have the time.. this is maybe what you picked up on a postitive thing still surrounding the rune thread. I hope all that made sense. I will post up the next one at the end of the week take care
