Learning the Nature of Dreams

New topic here but its something I should of saved for a novel. Basically the secret is that dreaming is intense hypnagogic. By judging the experience of dreams the dreamer experiences of world shaped out of hypnagogic images or different view of hypnagogic images. 3d or 2d hypnagogic. 2d looking threw a television or 3d looking threw a television etc etc etc... Anyways the evidence is here. When dreaming often you find yourself in wrong landscapes because the hypnagogic re entry is half baked. This leads to confusion in dreaming. For example you may be viewing items on a table. You blink and it's missing. Hypnagogic in dreams is like a movie. You are flashed by hypnagogic all night. Until it fades it tries to re animate itself by hypnotic influence. It's like a cartoon flick. The motion of the cartoon character is all dependent on how many shots are made of it. Same with dreams. The intensity of hypnagogic is your life support in lucid dreams. No hypnagogic means no life in lucid dreams means no lucid dream. Their is ways to walk around this problem and be in a lucid noun hypnagogic state. Also hypnagogic is dependent by the level of consciousness or unconsciousness state. Different consciousness means different hypnagogic state. You cant find this teachings anywhere in dream yoga. So basically you have walked out of this topic with some pretty useful information that you wouldn't find anywhere on earth except me and a few people around the globe that know these secrets.

I just made it up from dream experience. If you understand what I’m talking about you will understand how dreams operate. This is something so noticeable yet so hidden from knowing how dreams are made. We normally think that dreams are separate from the hypnagogic state. It is the exact thing but in different form of hypnagogic. I decieded to post it over here since the dream studies are of more value. The obeforum seems to get less interesting. People post less. Hence the interest rate.

Hi ronni. Well basically I found out this so called knowledge in a very short period of time from experience. It all happened so oddly. Firstly I made the connection by finding a solution to why dreams act so weird that it can make confusion. On my other experience I was trapped inside of my bedroom. If I moved out it would cause bio lag. Now what happen was I figured out what this was because my Hypnagogic state could not re animate the seen of me in my bedroom in a different point of my room. It caused violent uncontrollable movement in my dream body that I couldn't even handle. I figured out that this is because of the difficulties of the re animation of the 3 dimensional bedroom which was to much for my mind to handle in a medium lucid dream state. To prevent this so called bio lag simply raise your level of lucidy within the dream influencing how much consciousness you have inside your dream. This giving you a direct solution. This consciousness will stop the bio lag and reducing the chance of Hypnagogic flash back to be half baked. So this leaves less room for error in your flash of Hypnagogic when applying more lucidy within a lucid dream. The more lucid you are the more detail of your reality is increased. If you become aware of items in dreams this causes the bio lag if the consciousness isn't high enough to support it for a length of time. You eventually end up in a Sims game with crystal clear graphics no lag. Perfect detail. Which can be mistaken as a obe or a physically awake eyes open experience. In a HLL experience their is no chance of lucidy loss because the lucidy is so high it cant be ignored or forgetable.

Thats interesting Michael, however for me in the hypnogogic state I am more aware and it enhances my lucidity..
I found in this state I can not only launch lucid dreams but obe's too..
but I understand what your saying here, and maybe its differant for everyone, ya know, perhaps this stage is hard for others to get a grip on lucidity since it is a very confusing state to began with..

That's very interesting what you're saying.
Yeah, I agree that dreams and hypnagogia are one
Often, before sleep, I'm able to control the hypnagogic images when they show up (for example 'turn' my head and look in another direction) being still awake (I can feel my body, the bed etc.).
Getting from a hypnagogic state to a normal or lucid dream is just a matter of the consciousness level.

Yes your right ronni. It is different for others. Your progressive lucidy might be because you expand your memory of dream objects within your lucid dream. Investing your conscious thought into hypnagogic objects within dreams holds and increases consciousness. It's because of the forced expansion of awareness. You might experience what I have experienced sooner or later if their is not enough consciousness support for adding more awareness to your expanding memory of objects. Almost confusing? If you have the right behaviour you wont stumble across the bio lag which I experience. I think the best way is to get higher out of the low lucid state. This prevents the situation for low conscious support. This is because entering a higher level of lucidy is just gaining a higher engine of consciousness which is less likely to fail conscious support of the hypnagogic in the dream.

Kosomot that's good to here. I too can influence my trance hypnagogic aswell but it is a uncontrollable modification to the hypnagogic image they seem to keep warping and shapeshifting. Not always accurate because it comes out deformed. I also try to hold shifting images to be static. This does work slightly. I can influence it by thought. If I want a certain object to appear in front of me. All I have to do is think about it good enough for it to be generated.

I just posted in another thread that perhaps if we realize our fullest potential, that cosnsciousness resides not only in our minds but in everything we perceive , perhaps we can eliminate this lag and weak spots and learn to apply our full awareness. this is my begining here, I have made a breakthrough in awareness I beleive, and I know if I stay reaching for this perspective in my dreams it is going to lead me to more obe's/lucid dreams, so far I have been successful in my dreams, lately I have been just putting myself(consciousness) in objects and things and its quite simple to understand the that is how the full consciousnes/sub works.
I hope my success continues.

Hi ronni. Don't worry. You success will go on and on and on. I haven't had lucid dream or obe action for aegis now. Like only a premature obe projection last month or somethin. Everybody progresses at their own rate. You are getting lucid dream action. While others may need catching up.

thanks michael, so what techniques are you using now a days?

Hi ronni. Well I haven't had much obe and dream work lately. I have been going on a general life skills course and left school. I don't have much time to practice obeing. Well I do and I don't. Get back home wont to spend sometime with leisure it gets dark time and then I’m a hurry to fall asleep so I can get some good sleep. Very little time for practice. Their is only one problem that I face during a obe. Is getting out of my body when I'm kindoff in a dream or trance state. I do use visualization and I had allot of failed attempts when I am half way out of my body. I had a premature obe projection this morning. Out of the blue I was suddenly aware that I was in trance and tried to project. I thought I was more awake then asleep. Not only that I could hear and sense the morning- outside world in trance. I used something different this time. I used the rolling out of body technique which I did gain awareness on the carpet floor in trance visualization. What I did was visualize falling of my bed and suspended vertical of my bed with my legs up in the air and falling of the bed. This was a good visualization but not good enough. I thought I was out but I was only out mentally but partially out of the body. I did this few times until my body sucked me back in and woke up. As this example I am having troubles being successful with a projection. That's why I do practice before falling asleep with awareness hands to ultimately increase the strength. So when I do experience the state of near separation I had my practice to be successful with projection and will most likely succeed. I also do affirmations before sleep. I am also passing out most of the time because I am more healthier therefore the hormones are more powerful to get me to fall asleep. So this is out of my control. I normally never pass out like this but it's always something. Always something new.

well maybe its better just to let it come to you, I know for many instead of trying so much, waiting for it, could be the best action youll ever take in order to project ya know..
but it sounds as if you are very close, keep trying or not trying whichever you decide, do some dream work here and there, just yesterday,I had a dream where again I tested to see if I was in a dream by looking at a clock,so in the dream I looked at the clock and noticed the numbers were all backwards and I couldn't make sence of them, but I just thought thats odd, lol and I went back to whatever was going on in my dream so I need to work on my awareness a bit more, and maybe you should try it too Michael, ya never know, perhaps your detachemant is more within you consciousness than in the body itself, by doing awareness techniques and working on even your psychic abilities it could just be what you need, since it sounds like you have blocks to get through, and leaving the body is a purely conscious thing, at least I think so anyway, the rest are illuisons, such as the body itself, ya know, so maybe you need to detach yourself from your physical self and open your psychic self more..

your welcome, like I said maybe you need a new approach, if the others don't work for you, move on to a differant one after a month ya know,whats the point of using a technique that isn't fit for you..

Yes that's right. Only the fact is I enjoy using my techniques. My visualization is improving more and more over time. Gav I think told me that over time the 3rd eye chakra matures over age therefore you will have to wait until you are 18 20 to experience stronger obe experiences because of higher progressive strength. It seems that he is right. SO why give up on these techniques? I just think I need to work on my imagination and visualization. So this can impact on my techniques. Hey they must be some imagination and visualization increase techniques out there.
