I'm at work but it's a combination of where I used to work and where I work now. The building is multifloored and each floor is set aside for different residents. The residents and employees where I used to work are on different floor than the residents and employees where I work now. I have a hard time keeping up at both places. All of a sudden a whole floor of the building breaks away and flies to a different place. I wake up tired and confused.
I think I am having a hard time separating from the old place, I left not of my own choice. I miss the people there. I think that the floor that left is my trying to let go.

In my dreams, whenever I dream of a floor collapsing, it always feels like a lack of security---like I'm "losing my footing" or I have no "strong foundation to stand on." I always have those dreams when I'm in a transition such as going to a new job or when I started community college.

It didn't so much as collapse as it just separated from the rest of the building completely and took off on it's own. Like if you had a tower of building blocks and you took one out of the middle of the stack. Real weird.

Oh yes, I see now. I missread it. That's never happened in my dreams that I recall. They just collapse or are on the verge of collapsing.
One thing in your dream that has in common with alot of mine is the combing of jobs. I'll be at one of my old jobs with either co-workers from my current job or another old job and we are working on something related to a third job.
