i had an awesome dream today, it was a bit lucid however my awareness was not at its peak lol so any who. I was in my old house where i grew up like always and i began to fly outside it was so beautiful outside the sky was perfect blue..I began to fly over water, but I felt overwhelmed by it..as i hovered over the water it instantly got dark outside..i could see little red lights flashing in the distance..I was afraid..for some reason lol..my body was not in my control anymore..it shot quickly into the water and underneath, i couldn't control it..I do not know what this means, but I do have an idea..I know that it is a symbol of something going on in my life for sure..or will be soon..It felt very powerful..also in the end part of the drream I was inside my house looking outside, the sky was dark deep red..there was something odd about it, than I began to see lights flicker onto my house, I knew that it was from a spaceship lol.. :-/yep..ha I knew aliens were about to invade my home so I flew outside and to the top of my house and waited till they went away.. odd eh? thats all i really recall..any thoughts on this guys?

interesting, me too I never have had any meetings with aliens, so I dont know, but if I would have dreamed this I would think that there will be a lot of change coming towards me, from the sub and feel-side of life (water) and also from the mental-spiritual side of life (sky). I would interprete it as a nice thing I guess, though it depends on the feeling. Flewing by itself doesnt mean something bad or fearful in my eyes, it rather reflects some doubts or insecurity about a change, but never neccessarily is refering to any outcome, imho. So yeah best welcome it. Anyways I can not imagine you shocked or feared by any upcoming changes Ronni, truly I can not, you thunderstorm you ;-)) Much joy and happyness to you. Oh and Ronni this round-mail-thing really was informative and a very great thing it is to hear from time to time whats up and who`s doing what and where, and btw: thank you for the dao-flowers, that was really sweet and feels truly so supporting emotionally :-)

Lilac, I was hoping you could share your opinion on the subject of lucid dreaming. I was wondering if you feel that lucid dreams are easier to achieve during a day nap or at night, when we sleep for long periods of time? Maybe each individual is different. You see, I am puzzled because I used to lucid dream all the time, but have not achieved any in a couple years now. When having dreams that someone was trying to hurt me, I'd say to myself, "This is just a dream," and I'd be able to have control of the whole situation. In most cases I would achieve anything I wanted to in my dreams, including being able to fly. Since having 2 kids, I have not taken a day nap in years! LOL! (Boy do I miss that). I'm one of those individuals that can't relax my mind due to stress and thoughts constantly running through my head. If I could just shut my brain off long enough, maybe I could go back to the way I was able to control my dreams and recognizing that I'm even having a dream. Maybe having a busy mind is bad for lucid dreaming, if we can't let go of our everyday situations. What do you think? Thanks. ~Kronic

hey girl..um I think it does vary from person to person based on their thoughts, thought patterns, I do think stress can totally wipe out chances for more aware dreaming, but I think if you work with your stress in a way that you try to understand it, you dreams will show you more things and maybe working with both of them together can help clear up stress and also give you more awareness in your dreams..I was just thinking of a book I have actually where you use your dreams to fight stress and also for problem solving. Shoot I can't recall the name of the book lol..but anyway basicly you ask your dreams questions before you sleep for example asking"what can I do to be more relaxed and stress free"? or "what is the root of my stress"? I think that doing this will open up your awareness abit, and it is asking your dreams for guidance which i think can only improve your awareness and help you understand and indentify the things we sometimes can not control in waking life. I do think for myself naps during the day have broght me more awareness in dreams than at night, because at night I lay down for a long sleep, and its much easier to take naps and recall the events in dreams, to me my awareness is just sharper for some reason..lol but with kids this can be hard to do lol..so maybe starting to work slowly with your dreams at night will help you recall them in the morning and also get the subconscious working in your favor more often by haveing lucid dreams. I think that if you work with dreams period..you will benefit from it even as you sleep at night, because you most likely will start to recall more dreams in the morning and this is just a starting point ya know. with stress and many thoughts I think it can be hard to obtain though, maybe working on our stress by doing things you truly enjoy more often can help that and also maybe try some simple focus techniques for your busy mind lol.. If I think of something else ill let you know. and maybe try writing your thoughts down , maybe getting them out will help with more focused thinking, and could help stress too.

Thanks Lilac, I value your opinions. I guess I should go stock back up on the herbal teas too, since that used to help me sleep good! I know my stress level goes down too, when I start working out at the gym or go for walks. I think I'm too lazy in the wintertime though, LOL! Here's the funny thing though, I may not have been lucid dreaming, but I'm starting to remember my dreams, some I think that are coming true. For example I've been dreaming for the last 6 months that my neighbor put her house up for sale. I remember the colors to be red on the For Sale Sign. Then Boom, last weekend the For Sale Sign goes up and I see the same colors, I saw in my dream. She is selling her house. I've had many dreams like this, where they pretty much come true, it's almost scary at times, but I'm thinking that everyone might have the capability to do this.

There is one other thing I can add to Ronni's fine advice. When you take those walks or even while you are working out practice keeping your mind stayed on the moment and on how you are feeling inside and also what is going on around you. Try not to let your mind go off into day dreams and thoughts of what you have to do for the day and stuff. Practice keeping your mind stayed in the presense and what is going on from moment to moment. Also, you can asked your self during the day at various times, "I'm I dreaming?" Then answer yourself, yes or no if you are awake or if in a daydream at the time. If you do that during the day, it will help you do the same when you are dreaming at night. Some people even put little postie notes up around the house or work place with "are you dreaming?" written on it to help them remember to ask and stay more aware.

Thanks CC, that's good advice as well. Yeah it's true, I catch myself daydreaming a lot, but I find keeping myself focused on one task helps with that. At night when closing my eyes I try to not think of anything and just clear my mind. I tell ya, it's hard at times, as I start to do that "daydream" thing again. Ha ha! Well I have a ways to go, but I'll keep you guys posted in the near future. Take Care!

Well guys believe it or not, I started Lucid dreaming again. I believe I had three in one night. I took the good advice of others and really tried clearing my mind and thoughts before bedtime. The one lucid dream that stood out to me and I actually knew and was aware I was dreaming was me standing on the very top of a canyon. It kinda looked like the Grand Canyon, although I've never been there in real life. I didn't really feel like I was walking, more like floating. It was so peaceful and I felt happy, with no fears. I'm hoping for more control of the dream next time so it won't be so short. Seems like it ended so fast, but I'm not even sure what it meant. Anyways I bought a book today called "Seven Healing Chakras: Unlocking Your Body's Energy Centers." I think that I need to study this and it should help me reach some of my goals. Let me know if any of you have ever been in a Canyon. (Or have been up on a high point, looking down.) Bye for now!

cool kronic, glad you are making great progess! I do think that most dreams give clues to our future and perhaps even warning signs as well.I think it is a great ability to understand and listen to our dreams advice, and recognize these psychic dreams as well.To me they can only help you. wow your dream sounds of aweome of the canyon, ive never been sadly lol..but Im sure it can mean only positive things, sinnce you felt so great in it.It could have been even a breakthrough lucid dream where you simply move to a new stage of your awareness.Yay!
