My daughter had a role in this play when she was in 7th grade. It was her first time in the drama club. She's a sophomore now and has been in a few other plays. I thought the play was kind of confusing but the movie looks really good.
Some say this new series will beat out the Harry Potter series. What do you all think about that?

A woman was shopping at her local supermarket where she selected:
a half-gallon of 2% milk, a carton of eggs, a quart of orange juice, a head of romaine lettuce, a 2 lb. can of coffee and a 1 lb. package of bacon.
As she was unloading her items on the conveyor belt to check out, a drunk standing behind her watched as she placed the items in front of the cashier. While the cashier was ringing up her purchases, the drunk calmly stated, "You must be single." The woman was a bit startled by this proclamation, but she was intrigued by the derelict's intuition, since she was indeed single. She looked at her six items on the belt and saw nothing particularly unusual about her selections that could have tipped off the drunk to her marital status. Curiosity getting the better of her, she said "Well, you know what, you're absolutely correct. But how on earth did you know that?" The drunk replied, " 'Cause you're ugly."

I've sent a few people over this way. I think this is a good board.
LilacSky, feel free to join up at my board and advertise your site. I've had a few people who have advertised on my site and have gotten some regular posting members.
Good luck. I don't know of any boards out there quite like this, at least none that I belong to. I hope this one sticks around.

Hi Bobbie. Good to see you here. I know you have lots of dreams and I don't know why I never thought of giving you the link to this site earlier. Well, glad you are here now. The people here are very nice and they've helped me with my dream interpretations.

Croat? Are you from Croatia? Are ou Croat? I have some family from Dubrovnik, that's why I'm interesteed. Hi astralanchor. My parents were born in Croatia. I was born in the U.S. The first message board I ever joined was the Foodnetwork message board a few years ago and every name I tried to register with was taken so I finally just typed in Croat and no one else had it so I just stuck with that name. It's really nice meeting another Croatian. Have you ever been there? Can you speak the language? Details please.

I think they both have good personalities in different ways but I think dogs have more personality. I just like them better, I guess. Lol.
Now my turn to ask a question. On the dream journal board can I just start a journal under my name and then talk about my dreams every night? Is that how it works? I always have really weird dreams. And is there a different section where someone will try to interpret my dreams for me?

Every once in a while I have a dream that I'm back in high school. I'm late for a class and have to get books out of my locker but I can never remember the combination. I try and try to remember it but I never can. Does this mean anything?

What does it mean if you are a lucid dreamer and can control your dreams? My brother, he's five years older than me, dreams a lot. So do I, but he can control his dreams, most of the time. I remember when I was little I would have a bad dream and he would tell me to change the dream. I didn't understand what he meant. I understand now and sometimes I can change a dream but not often. I get lost in the dream and things happen the way they do. My brother, on the other hand, can almost always change his dreams. Why can some people be lucid dreamers and others can't? What does that mean?

Not every dream you have has a hidden meaning behind it, does it? Sometimes I dream really dumb stuff. For example, last night I dreamt that I had a pet goose. I brought him to the water and he didn't know how to swim. So in my dream I was trying to teach him to swim. Now that's just a silly dream and I have tons of them. Is there a hidden meaning or just a plain ole silly dream?

.....to change a lightbulb?
So, how many members DOES it takes to change a light bulb?
1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs
1 to move it to the Lighting section
2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section
7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs
5 to flame the spell checkers
3 to correct spelling/grammar flames
6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"
15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct
19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum
11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum
36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty
7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs
4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's
3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group
13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"
5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy
4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"
1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.

What do you all think about spirits and ghosts? I believe. A few years back we went to see Ed & Lorraine Warren; famous ghost busters in CT. They blew my mind away. Check out their website: www.warrens.net/
