Ok again I'm going to post two readings together....I really hate doing that but I just don't have a lot of time to get on the computer lately. This time of year is so busy and I've been having more headaches which prevents me from doing a lot of things.
Spread: Three card Spread Deck: The Fairy Ring Question 1: What should I follow physically at this time? Card: 2 Autumn (Spriggan) reversed SprigganUpright: Dishonesty, theft, secrecy, gaurding Reversed: I don't get any feeling or thoughts on this in reversed other than the same one I get in upright position. Lesson: Protect what I hold valuable and dear. Question 2: What should I follow emotionally at this time? Card: A Winter (Knocker) reversed KnockerKnockers are known to help miners find the best area to dig for food in return. Upright: Material gain, help, searching, not getting much else from this one. Reversed: feelings of loss, trouble... Question 3: What should I follow spiritually at this time? Card: Lady Summer (Green Lady) reversed Green LadyUpright: Peace, beauty, abundance/full, growth Reversed: Stagnation, lacking, I really can't get a good handle on this particular reading. I wasn't feeling all that great when I started it so I'm not giving this one much weight. After I laid the cards (I lay them face down then read them one by one) I had a headache come on that felt like a train wreck. It was all of a sudden and I couldn't manage to think real clear. But this is the reading non the less. The next one is going to be long so I'll post it separately...

I agree Ronni thanks.
I am a bit bored though...but only with the whole Christmas gift giving thing. I don't know....I just seem so be "zoning" more and more. Almost like daydreaming but not really thinking anything. I catch myself doing that all the time. SO perhaps boredom is the answer here.

Yeah it's hard to see the details in the card. The candle holders appear to be of gargoyle shape. The item next to the right candle is an oil lamp and next to that is a figure of what appears to be a fire goddess. I'm not quite sure what the statue on the left side of the center gargoyle is though...a pheonix maybe???. The horse brasses consist of a three crescent brass (on the left), a crescent moon brass (on the right), two ball on chain brasses (one on either side), and what looks like a ships wheel or compass (it has nine spokes).
On the left side of the fire place there is a lantern on the wall. And you can see the fireplace utensils sitting in front .

Ok so here is the readings i've done in the past few days while I was afk.
Spread: One Card Draw Question: What should I follow at this time? Deck: The Fairy Ring Card(s): Herfest (reversed) Note: Festival cards represent powerful energies entering or leaving the current life cycle of the questioner. They should be given extra weight in any reading. To view right side up image go here. Right side up thoughts: reflection, success, peace, rest and rebirth. (The fairies looke peaceful and at rest and butterflies are associated with rebirth) Reversed: stagnant, worry. The world is turned upside down. Interpretation: There seems to be a theme already starting....I have to work through the hard times and keep my head and spirits up. Personal Relevance: As it stands right now and within the past few days I have felt very much like my life is in all kinds of a mess. I don't know whether I'm coming or going at times. The holiday season is always a rush.
Spread: One Card Draw Question: What path should I follow to overcome my shortcomings? Deck: The Fairy Ring Card(s): Ace summer (fire drake) I see a new begining/change (burning of the old), luck (horse brasses hung on the fireplace), protection (gargoyle watching from above), warmth (from the fire), and faith/hope (the representation of the four elements). Interpretation: There is a light at the end of the tunnel, I must have faith. Personal Revelance: This card means a lot to me. Like I have said before I thrive on warmth. and most of the symbols represented here speak to me loudly. Up in the upper right hand corner there is a banner with the Sag symbol (my sun sign). The banner next to it is a book (I take great joy in learning and reading). I adore gargoyles and dragons as much as I do fairies. I must have a thing with creatures with wings. The fire itself just says to me, "come sit next to me and enjoy my warmth and energy".

Well i know I don't plan on having a child any time soon...that is unless we move like now. But I do tend to have a child mentality when it comes to playfulness at times. I'll have to give that some more thought in light of my other cards.
I haven't posted in a few days....I've been really busy and exhausted. I did do readings and recorded them in my notebook though. I'll post them next to keep up the flow here. I think it's great that others offer their insight into my cards to help me see a different view.

Spread: One Card Draw Question: What should I follow at this time? Deck: The Fairy Ring Card(s): 9 Spring (Pixie) Note: Spring cards = Cups My Thoughts: secrecy, playfullness, lightheartedness, mischevious Interpretation: Showing me to be less serious and more playful/lighthearted. Take time to laugh and enjoy myself. Personal Relevance: It's hard for me at this time to take things in a lighthearted way and to be playful. I know deep down I must work hard to incorporate this message into my daily life.

Thank you Ronni. That offer helps a lot. It's good to know there is someone to go to if needed. Of course I feel you are a lot like me where people go to to talk or for advice...and I know how demanding that can be at times as well as fulfilling.

Yes it does make sense in my situation there is a lot of resistance right now. For instance I resist the urge to be angry at times. My dreams have made up for that resistance though. I was having a recurring theme in my dreams where I am angry and crying. I think my internal anger is a result of how I feel about my living situation right now. My husband and I are living with his mom and I yearn for a place of my own. I have a great desire to get our house so that we can start a family. I don't want to start having kids now because well.... if we do then we will most likely never be able to leave. That whole idea has been on my mind a lot lately and I can't seem to get around it.

Yeah I think so too. Resistance is a good word. Sometimes I'm not very good with words but that one fits pretty well.

Spread: One Card Draw Question: What should I follow at this time? Deck: The Fairy Ring Card(s): 2 summer Wayland Smith (reversed) Note: Summer cards in this oracle are also considered wands. Note: to view right side up image go here Wayland SmithWhen interpreting my thoughts and feelings for this card I first figured out what I thought/felt with it rightside up then did the reversed. Right side up: Hard work, strength, persistance, endurance, dedication, focus, rejuvination (smith's make new things from the old and/or create something brand new through their work). Reversed: weakness, failed attempts, thoughtlessness, lazyness, incompetence. Interpretation: With these personal feelings I think this card it telling me that in order to achive the lighter side I must overcome the darker side. I must focus and follow the path to overcome the darkness. Personal Relevance: To me this card tells a lot. As many of you know I suffer a period of depression throughout the winter. I have felt the onset of this period within the past few weeks. I know it's going to be hard but if I am persistant and follow this path then I can overcome a lot of the major downfalls that I felt last year.

Hehe Andin you and I are one in the same in many ways. I know exactly how you feel. I haven't written anything in a looong time. And I think most of the stuff I wrote isn't very good. The ones I like the most were those that came straight from the heart. When I just wrote without laying judgement on what the words said. They are the most important writing I have and I'll always cherish them. I'm getting two of them published in a poetry book that is due for release next year.
Have faith in yourself and you will write something that will really stick with you.

I think those are very good interpretation of those cards. Especially the Tower card.

It seems both decks are basically telling you the same thing. I'm glad they are both working out for you.

Looks like a good reading and looks like you are doing really well with interpreting your cards. Those are gorgeous cards btw.

To me it seems these two are butting heads. One wants to take care of the other and the other wants to be in charge and be for free to make their own decisions.
Whereas the "ex" is able to blend and fit in where ever he sees he fits best. It seems that he can do either, take charge or lay back and let someone else take charge.

Ok I don't want you all to think I'm weird or whatever...but I'm going to tell you how I "connected" to my cards more.
First of all I was drawn to this deck I'm using now. When I got them I went through each one and held it and looked at the picture. I cleansed it with white sage and slept with the whole deck under my pillow for several nights. I also meditated with a few cards and the deck in general. That's the beauty of this deck...it's made to work with dreams and meditation.
I read somewhere that the more you use and handle and are with your deck the stronger the connections is. It also suggested to sleep with the deck under your pillow for a while. Since I don't leave home much (aside from running errands) I'm with the deck a lot. I hopw this information helps you build a connection. If you don't feel connected after trying this then I would suggest you look through several decks until one "pops" out at you. Sometimes it's helpful to go to a store and actually handle the deck (while it's in the box of course) to feel the vibe it gives. Like I said before I spent months looking for the right deck. You will know when you have found the one for you.
