I just read a bunch of stuff... boy there really are a lot of differing ideas.
Watching the illustration on the site you gave me, it makes the Kundalini start at the feet. That reminds me of how I would sometimes get the feeling of a raging river flowing up my legs and my entire body as if my body were a hollow tube that rapids would run through. After it goes up, it also reverses. It's not just a spine thing, but a full body experience, but it does go up and then back down.
One thing that's for sure is that I couldn't imagine anything more powerful. I can definitely relate to how people say it is "the freight train inside".
What I experience is nothing like qi during qi gong... what I am thinking is that I have experienced a bunch of "non-classical" awakenings (awakenings that don't specifically involve rising up the spine). I can't find as much information on non-classical awakenings though... a lot of pages just refer to the spine thing as a "classical awakening".
But anyway, I have always known that I could raise it straight up the spine from my PC muscle if I wanted to when I get into these states. I never did because of the danger, but I'm thinking that I've already experienced it in other ways, so I think I'm ust gonna raise it straight up... or at least kinda feel for it and see if I want to when I'm in one of these states. This way I'll just completely investigate it myself and I'll see what kind of difference it makes.
I might chicken out though if it doesn't feel right or something.
Well I'll post again after I try it.
