I was just chatting to CC in another site regarding the Medicinal and remedial properties regarding the chakra, and also the warnings with some oils that really need to be taken notice of, especially if you have high blood pressure, pregnant or using with children.. An Aromatherapy Decoder form the local health food shop is definately worth the investment..

It is best If using Pure 100% essential oils, never to use more than 4 drops in a burner and 10 drops in a bath as it may have the opposite effect. And if mixing oils for your oil burner try not to go over 10 drops altogether as the potency will become overbearing and may have the opposite affect you were seeking ( Less is best).. If rubbing on the skin always use a good quality carrier oil such as sweet almond oil.
2 drops Jasmine 3 drops Lavender 3 drops frankincense and 2 drops ylang ylang in 300ml sweet almond oil. Bottle it and use about 30ml in each bath. It is Heaven! and the sweet almond oil makes the skin soooo soft
When i burn oils around very small children or pregnant women I have always stuck to Lavender and only 4 drops maximum, You can always add a drop or two after an hour or two, but keep it subtle. It is safe to burn around them.. .best to be safe than sorry..
An excercise i was taught was to put 2 drops of garlic oil on the underside of my foot, within half an hour i could taste the garlic.. this was to show me how powerful essential oils can be.
