yeah I know what ya mean, lately Ive just been out of it..I just want to sleep when this happens, so today I took a nap and had a dream of my old house I grew up in, and it was crystal clear, my mom and my sister were sitting there, I said where are we as soon as I got into the dream lol thats the first thing I said and was looking around, and I said "no, this can't be true"..I was in my old house and it was redone, my mom smiled and said yeah it is, I said mom what is your favorite house our of all the ones you lived in, but listen to this as I asked her that I was recalling a dream of where she lived in a huge house upnorth, and this was just in a dream she never really lived in the house, so I was branching together dreams from the past within my dream kind of strange, anyway, she said the one we were in, than I walked to the back of the house alone, and found myself in a room with strange electronics and a huge fan that went into the floor, everthing was shiny metal..the fan turned on and began to suck me itno it, I started yelling for my mom..and all the electronics/robots what ever they were came on and began attacking me, I didn't get it, I forced myself to wake up.. when I woke up I just thought that something is going to happen soon in my life where I will need my mom again...perhaps it will be the pull of life itself trying to pull me under Im not sure but as I analyzed this dream, I felt odd and strange and very nostalgia about my old house and my family, I just hate those dreams where they leave strong impressions on you.. o crap Im wrecking this thread lol, well Im gonna put this in my journal now hehe.. and I hope your feeling better jeana...

yeah that was nice reading a bit about you all.
Where are you from? Frankfurt, right in the middle of germany, big airport, small city though, but quite modern. A river, lots of parks and green around. I live a bit besides now, Offenbach, 80% foreigners - thats cool, it doesnt feel sooo german hehe.
What are your hobby's? music, writing, martial-arts, taiji, jigong, animals, dancing
What type of music do you like? to be true I dont like many, especially not hard and nervous. I love music of drums of all kind, especially tribal or ethno drums. I love all kind of chill- and lounge music.
What is your favorite book? all kinds of philosophy and spiritual books, psychology rather in the past, also I like the history-novels of nowadays.
What is your favorite movie? in the past a million of kungfu movies lol. I was very impressed by "Jacobs ladder", its about a man dying, but the whole time of the movie he is in the twighlight zone, man that was really amazing, the director must have known well about that field. Think it is american movie.
How long have you had out of body/LD's? LDs are still difficult for me, but since when I was young I had impressing dreams, got 3 books of written dreams, lots with precognition of events. Since one year I had 2 short OBEs, no control at all, and many flying dreams. So I hope I`ll grow.
What other interests do you have? learning languages, astrology in the past, dance- and martial arts work with kids also in the past.
What is your goal at this time in your life? keep on till its done lol. I would love to be more balanced in emotions.. so Im working on: "throwing it over my shoulder" lgn

hey Ronni and Section8,
sorry.. then I gave a wrong impression, cause its not a peaceful place where I live with 650.000 others lol, its more that I just know where to go to be at the nice places here, and above all Im so happy that I could meet again so many old souls-friends (like here since a year), this is the blessing. Generally people in the cities are quite aggressively, especially around fullmoon, I guess thats everywhere the case.
"dead can dance" I`ve heard that, what is it again?, can you tell me a bit. wish you all a wonderful day. lgn

Hello Everyone!
Where are you from? I'm not really from anywhere. I have moved every few years since birth...so home is where I'm standing...or projecting. Currently however, I am living in Sacramento, CA. I moved here recently from NM.
What are your hobby's? The usual stuff: hiking, reading, cooking, art, poetry, etc.
What type of music do you like? I like everything. However, I listen to a lot of alternative country and indie music. Some favorites: Modest Mouse, Old 97's, Elliot Smith, Jeff Buckley, The Sadies...
What is your favorite book? Geez, there cannot be just one. For fiction though, I love Italo Calvino, Milan Kundera, Richard Brautigan... For Non-Fiction, I love all the Castaneda books, David Hawkins...I don't know, there's a lot!
What is your favorite movie? Again, one is just so limiting. A Thin Red Line, Donnie Darko, Army of Darkness, Legend, Anything by the Cohen Brothers, The Whole Wide World, I heart Huckabee....
How long have you had out of body/LD's? Well, this is hard to answer. Stuff has been happening for a while now, but I have really chosen to ignore it until recently. I don't know, I guess it's a matter of being emotionally and mentally ready. About a month ago, I had my first intentional astral projection and then a couple more times after that. However, I have been unable to do since. Which ultimately brings me here to find all of you and your wonderful astral projecting selves. I don't know what I'm doing! lol. I need help.
What other interests do you have? Dreaming has always been very important to me. I have been writing them down and studying them for close to a decade now (I'm 27). And of course, consciousness, or rather, Consciousness with a Capital C is my main interest...in all things large or small.
What is your goal at this time in your life? Higher Consciousness...and with that, astral projection and lucid dreaming.

Hi Again!
Yeah, I guess I should fill out that personal info sheet! LOL, I am a woman. Funny that you thought I was a male- would be curious to know why!
I have been studying dreams since about age 18-19...I am now 27. I spent A LOT of time interpreting dreams and really using them to guide my decision making. It's been wonderful and I have had some really strange occurances while falling asleep and in dreaming. Only recently have I decided to take this more seriously. I'm excited to be here talking with all of you (big smiles).
AND, I love Jeff Buckley. You know, I've never listened to his father's work, but have heard it's phenomenal- that Jeff was really in his shadow. If that's the case, I should really pursue his music. Nice to meet a fellow fan!
And then there's Legend. Could Tim Curry be any cooler; Gosh I love him. Run out and buy it tonight SXY. It'll be your new feel good movie!
So, I noticed that there is a real separation of the OBE and Lucid Dreaming discussions and yet they seem like two pieces of a puzzle; meant to be together. Is there a particular reason why each is separated as a focus?

hi spinner, I don't know why I thought you were a male, lol just a vibe, who knows perhaps the way you write. yeah its good to meet another jeff buckley fan, I have not known too many people who like him and I gaurnentee youll love his father, If you get any thing I would suggest "Honey Man" by tim, its my favorite, I love it, its very diverse too. the style is more like jazz and funk, and rock mixed, very good thought, however not all Tim's cd's are that great lol..but again the man can sing
yeah I began around the same time, I think I was a bit younger, and I just turned 27 in April.and I also began lucid dream work and learning my own dream launguage, and that is when I began obe's as well.. so its been interesting ...haha and yeah I just found out that the lord was Tim Curry, lol, I never knew it untill about a few months ago..than I just bought the dvd. so Im happy, yeah Tim curry does cool films, hes always doing fun and adventerous roles..
about the dream and obe's I suppose they are seperated due to people learning their dreams, dream experiences, and than there is obe's which is supposed to be the focus of leaving the body..but most of the time people experience high lucid dreams, which can also be astral projection, and yet not quite out of the body, so I suppose that is why they are seperate.. however I think that dreams, and obe's are very similiar the only differance is that your awareness is at its peak and that you gain complete awareness over the subconcious ya know, and this leaves you to fully detach from your body..but usualy what happens I think for many people is that you have semi control and it ends up to be a lucid dream that images and other things interrupt due to the subconscous.. so its a matter of opinion I think..overall I would say that they do not have to be seperated since it is through your dreams you learn this control and awareness..
