I have found that choosing a path can be quite difficult, since their are so many roads to take in life, My advice to anyone having a problem with which way to turn, is sometimes, like the wheel of fortune or wheel of fate, we must let go and let god steer us, I have been in dark hours before where my faith was tested, but it is your personal faith and your beliefs that will ultimatly guide you in life, if you trust in your self and your beleifs, they will guide you, like a star, or a secret wish, keep following it and know that it will come true, becuase thoughts do build reality and your life is a direct mirror image of your inner self. I have found that sometimes in order to choose the best path, a rest is needed or a time out. Being alone is not necessarily bad, it is a good time to look within and introspect on your life... and if you look hard enough you will start to see that everything that has happened had a order or pattern to it, that is fate....guiding you on your journey. Have Faith that what you want can manifest, it is only a matter of time. so remain positive!! becuase it is your energy that molds your suroundings, it is fate that guides it.

thats good said and fits absolutely with me and my life. I always believed and trusted in being guided and i always knew that whatever i do practically i would stay a free undogmatic person. So i practiced many different kind of meditations, qi-work and martial arts, teached it to others too, but always having in mind and telling all those peoples that they themselves are the masters. We all can truely learn something from each other, everyone could or can be my master for a special thing or moment, the same can i be for others. I lovelove that what Daoists say: pay attention to every single thing which crosses your way - its showing you something. I try my best, with serentity. Nani

Hi Ronni, I really think we have some important things in common – action in general, love for dancing and a big “helper-complex” lol, so I would like to share one of my occupations with you, which combined a lot of my main interests and partly expressed my path. Perhaps it may be interesting to tell you about that I was educated in dance-therapy which has been evolved in America. My teacher, Jaquline Mayer Ostrow (russian-american) is an amazing person, she is like an eagle, seeing and feeling emphatically almost everything. In this 5 years of education I myself had to go through all kind of therapies, mainly built up on C.G. Jung`s psychology. We also learned many different styles of dancing and did breath-work, but these were used more as a medium to reach into the inner self or inner neurosis than for fun or show (what I of course loved to do all my live). As I said, I worked in a mental hospital with schizophrenic and depressive people, but there I already was happy when I could carry the people to a body-consciousness for example of the difference between their right and left hand, through such work with music, imagination and movement. As lots of those people were living in a totally different reality and as I perceived them very psychic, (we often had a kind of meta-communication) a lot of questions about spirituality in its different appearances arose for me. But this would be another quest-thread I one day would like to share with you obe-experienced people. I have to admit that I couldn’t` stand this work in the hospital no longer than 3 years, but not because of the difficulties with the clients, but because of the hierarchic system of doctors, nurses and clients and specially how they were treated, like guinea pigs for pills you know, I couldn’t` stand that no longer. There were, but only very few, professors who appreciated my work and the progress the people made through this wonderful system-work of dance-therapy. I loved the work and the clients, but hated the clinic-society (on top I was so badly paid). Then I quitted and started to work with (a kind of criminal) children (7-14). In this work I mixed the dance-therapy with martial-arts, which was very beneficial for those young, aggressive and frustrated children - we also did performances in the public, that was lots of fun and a good motivation for them. Finally I did different encounter-groups (meditation-dance-fight) with woman and often worked as representative for my ex-husbands groups, he is a real kung-fu teacher guided by a bodiless chinese dao-master .. so but now I have rambled enough, hope I didn’t` bore you too much. Just thought that this dance-therapy thing could be interesting for you too. I would appreciate to hear some more about you, if you find the time, beside your energetic being all and everywhere. The forum here develops really wonderful, I really appreciate it and would wish to get paid for reading here lol or to survive by letters lol .. Best wishes nani

Hi Nani,
What an old soul you must be. I find just listening to your comments at times very healing. Maybe we are a part of the same soul group - you never know and many of us here may just be. Perhaps if I ever get to Europe one day I will look you up. Have a great day and weekend!

Hi Nanit, you are an amaging person. Your work with those wayward childern must be very rewarding. I too love working with children. I used to give free art lessons to a group of children and I really loved it. I had to stop because of hard times and I had to get a job for a while to make money to help out. Maybe someday I can go back to doing that, hopefully. With me it was just one of my hobbies, a very fun hobby.
It is a real blessing to help the children.

Hi Nani, so cool of you to write all that , wow, that is quite an interesting life you have. I think we have much in common as well, I think its cool that you know dance therapy, I do have one book about that, but it more like sacred dancing and trance danceing, well which is the same thing I suppose,.haha I would love to learn more about it though!!! I love to make music almost more than anything, but it has been a while since I wrote something, I like to just play for hours and record what comes out you know. but I think we have that in common as well. pretty cool how the interenet can bring such people together, you never thought you would talk to or meet out on the streets ya know, I lke the internet , I am so thankful tohave met such great people that complimant me and who I am, and I do the same for them as well. oh and I would love to learn martial arts as well, someday I will do it, I know it. love and light guys, Ronni

Linda, how wonderful you was working with kids, specially with arts. As i dont have a fine good hand for tinker, painting or forming something artistically i never could do something like this and i would be very interested to hear more about what you were doing with them. Uuuh i know what you mean by "had to stop.." its really so unfortunately, that we have to give up this beautiful things, cause of survival .. yes its so blessing to help and work (regardsless if we get money or not) for kids, animals or others who need it. But sometimes we just have to help us ourselfs, be there for us, even by only lying in bed thinking nice of us, not troubling us to feel obliged to do this or that. Thats a very hard exercise i find. Have you heard of "Gangaji" she is an american lady, enlightened (by Advaita) and she says: there is nothing to do, there is really nothing important to do, cause our soul is (already) free.. and life only is a come & a go.. this helps me from time to time, when i get too identified with what im doing or not able to do .. As i`ve read that you feel depressed somehow.. i wish you tonns of luck and that you are sourrounded by lovely people and that you yourself soon feel permeated by love again. Ronni, yes of course its not important for ourselfs who are quite healthy to differentiate too much between sacred, trance and all those appelations - the main thing is to get lost in movements, you know it, get rid of all those judging thoughts which harm us, get rid of fears, get rid of egos - just like meditation in action. Music yees, can i hear something of you? Can you put something on garageband? - would love to hear some. Lori, hahaha ;D

Ronni,
Do you record? I'd like to hear your music.
I currently play in a praise group at my church (have been for about 7 years). Never thought I'd like that kind of music but it is an outlet for me to play my 12-string guitar and sing with the most wonderful group of folks. We have been invited to sing at weddings and other churches and events and we often just get together and jam together. I am a 70's child and actually grew up learning to play the guitar to music by Fleetwood Mac, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Creedence, and of course The Beetles!

Lori thats awesome, you said jam together, lol thats cool, yeah I just love to jam too, and perhaps I should have grown up in the 70's, my mom says that to me alot, haha lori, I grew up to fleetwood mac, such a wonderfull band, my mom used to listen to them and bob seigar alot and Neil young, another great, my mom is a rock and roll lady and she is the one that got me to love the old stuff, god I just love fleetwood mac, and Neil young, I only started llikeing the beatles a few years ago, but I must say I love george harrisons solo stuff and John lennons as well. I just love classic rock like that, they were really good musicians, and the way they wrote songs were just way better than most bands today ya know. so I wll always listen to old stuff, since that is where the most innovative music came from. but Ilike alot of music even some rap, lol, but like i said Im very diverse in even my style of playing guitar, I play lead and rythum both, filling in all gaps of space ya know, I would love to record but I just don't have the money to invest in equipmant, also I would love to be a dj and spin records, somethng I always wanted to do. but my guitar style is very melodic and a bit heady, In fact I have made long tapes of just my guiar playing and I would mediate to them. I guess you have to hear it to understand, I have all kinds of pedals and effects that I add to my guitar to make it sound very soothing and sometimes it don't even sound like a guitar, lol okay I gotta stop I could go on forever here haha

Your mom is probably around my age (lol). Yes, the 70's in my opinion was probably the best era of music. My boys (ages 17 and 20) like that music as well. It seems since I have mellowed out in my "old age" I really have gravitated toward the new age/ambient music - it is so soothing to my soul. I'm really into sound - as I plug into my MP3 player at night to ambient sounds and other new age music (I even clean the house with it playing in the background - kind of makes it not so tedious). I also believe it helps me to dream and have OBE's too. It's interesting why I started listening to the new age music because often while out-of-body I would hear music and I find this type of music the closest to what I hear in that altered state of consciousness.
Anyway, I'm wagging on here too - I bet your music is wonderful , I'd like to hear some of it. Take care.
- Lori

cool Lori, yeah I love abient music as well, and new age, I have always liked it, I do think music helps with overall spiritual growth, and that by connecting music to our feelings, we are connecting to our higerself as well through music, which will help with dreams and obe's. I just feel that music is the launguage of the soul and useing it to help in any meditation, obe, dream work will help significantly.
