May 31, 2006 Increasing The Light Raise Your Vibration Everything in the universe is made of energy. What differentiates one form of energy from another is the speed at which it vibrates. For example, light vibrates at a very high frequency, and something like a rock vibrates at a lower frequency but a frequency nonetheless. Human beings also vibrate at different frequencies. Our thoughts and feelings can determine the frequency at which we vibrate, and our vibration goes out into the world and attracts to us energy moving at a similar frequency. This is one of the ways that we create our own reality, which is why we can cause a positive shift in our lives by raising our vibration.
We all know someone we think of as vibrant. Vibrant literally means "vibrating very rapidly." The people who strike us as vibrant are vibrating at a high frequency, and they can inspire us as we work to raise our vibration. On the other hand, we all know people that are very negative or cynical. These people are vibrating at a lower frequency. They can also be an inspiration because they can show us where we don't want to be vibrating and why. To discover where you are in terms of vibrancy, consider where you fall on a scale between the most pessimistic person you know and the most vibrant. This is not in order to pass judgment, but rather it is important to know where you are as you begin working to raise your frequency so that you can notice and appreciate your progress.
There are many ways to raise your vibration, from working with affirmations to visualizing enlightened entities during meditation. One of the most practical ways to raise your vibration is to consciously choose where you focus your attention. To understand how powerful this is, take five minutes to describe something you love unreservedly-a person, a movie, an experience. When your five minutes are up, you will noticeably feel more positive and even lighter. If you want to keep raising your vibration, you might want to commit to spending five minutes every day focusing on the good in your life. As you do this, you will train yourself to be more awake and alive. Over time, you will experience a permanent shift in your vibrancy.

Energy raising is so simple yet so powerful, using regular vibration raising exercises sounds like a great idea. When I catch myself feeling negative or being influenced by negativity I tell myself to 'flick the switch' - This is in effect me telling myself to become aware of what is going on, rather than falling into automatic reactive mode. Then I can switch on the positive and turn things around. We are conditioned to expect the negative so when things start to go downhill many of us actually lower our vibrations without knowing. Awareness is the key to turning energy toward the positive. What I'm trying to say (longwindedly) is that energy raising exercises would be a good way of also keeping awareness switched on. I've often read about how group meditation energy can be 'felt' within the room of meditators. Imagine what effect mass energy raising could have! A human chain of vibration raising!

Yup, thats why priests do there healing in groups. And also why they perform exorcisms in groups also. Odd enough but i feel it fits somehow a microwave is raising the vibrational state of the food thats being heated. Thats why it tastes like its cooked from the inside. Our chakra are the seven colors of the rainbow and the non visual areas are areas of microwaves, radio waves, ultra violet waves,x-ray. I believe the vibrational states are both above and below us and of course we have or own and that when you project you move into one of these states. Thats why it is so common to slide down or push up when projecting. Thats my theory and im sticking too it . Forgot to mention while studying kundalini i found that we have 2 to 3 chakra (outside the color range) above and below ourselves. I verified this one night when i had an excessive amount of energy. Thanks ladyb i really enjoy the study of vibrations and frequencies and how they are involved with us and evolution. It would make your statements make perfect sense the higher vibrational states are above us (the astral) and the lower vibrational states are below or underworld. So in a low vibrational state the nasty person is headed well underworldish or to the pit. This i think can change pretty regularly depending on how your attitude is. When you add these states of vibration to someones aura you cannot help but learn much about them just by looking at them and feeling there presence.

Any good self-help book I ever read recommended listening to motivational tapes. Hey, does anyone know any good ones?? But then again, just reading any good spiritual book raises your vibration. One particular one I read recently is "Ask and It is Given"; it's so positive, it just gives you a natural high.
" What I'm trying to say (longwindedly) is that energy raising exercises would be a good way of also keeping awareness switched on."
Yep, that makes sense to me. I was going to say something insightful, but words escape me. Negative thought clusters can have control over us, kind of like learned programs that become automatic. When energy is raised, the mind is more clear, and able to perceive without the interference of these negative thought clusters (egos according to gnosticweb??).

Yes I agree very much with this statement. Every moment is a struggle to gain and maintain awareness. To keep the dream (both waking and sleeping) lucid as much as possible. I find that energy raising and distributing helps alot with gaining and maintaining awareness. I notice that when I don't get enough sleep or have been doing tiring activities (such as partying with lack of sleep) that the next day is very hard to maintain awareness. I can gain it but it switches off much faster. Plus I view the world in a very detached and blurry way as in when I do gain awareness I notice that I'm almost in a trance where the world is more of a blur. Then I will look around and focus on the scenery and can feel it weighing down on the energy I don't have. Plus one day of bad energy can take a couple days to gain back. My friends and co-workers hate me cause I'm not like I used to be partying all the time. If I have to work in the morning (or even at night) and have the choice of going out and having a good time but at the price of having bad energy for one or two days after I normally will I'll take the sleep (most the time ). But another thing I've noticed is that when I have been doing alot of energy raising and doing really good with my energy I can actually go out and party even having to work the next morning and I will still wake up feeling good and not feeling drained at all. So the energy raising used in this example (just using partying one thing that drains energy from alot of people but there are many things including being negative, arguing with people, being angry, etc...) shows how it can even get you through a night of partying and not having it hurt you too bad But I would rather store this raised energy for projecting/LD's and gaining and keeping awareness so I definitely keep the partying to a minimum now days.

I still party and you are soo right the next day is sluggish and very unproductive usually. On days when i work with chakra and kundlini energy sometimes its almost to much and i can do just about anything and still have access energy. If i diet very stictly i can control my energy day to day better and also the Dual days or days where i practice both are almost out of this world. A perfect day would be to fast the prior day. Then to eat a perfect diet on the day in question. Meditate on both chakra and kundalini and then raise qi energy gradually throughout the day. Spend at least an hour in the sun and bam id make the energizer bunny look shameful. My vibrational state would be out of control as long as nothing from the outside world ruined my good time..lol

Has anyone attributed a lack of 'vibratory excellence,' so to speak, to their impure bloodline? We know that DNA has a certain frequency so naturally it is safe to say that the genes orchestrating this also have a say in which levels are vibrated at. Nevertheless even absolute mutts like myself might have had a resonating chance if we weren't vaccinated (meaning to say, if we weren't forced into spiritual blindness by who-knows-what kind of chemical or biological agent).
Any thoughts in that regard? Genetics may have more to do with our spiritual potential than one might think.

I hate to spread cliches, but exercising really raises vibration. After reading this thread, I was making myself a snack and thinking how I felt a little scattered and irritated today, then I realized that my best day of the week is Friday, which is also my yoga day. Of course, yoga is energy raising exercises all on its own. The whole point of yoga is actually raising energy up your spine to your spiritual eye.

Not to kick aside the idea of kundalini and chakras, but, why yoga seems to work effectively in that manner is that it has you upside-down a whole lot. More blood rushes to the brain with gravity's assistance, et voila, you have the Energy and what follows.
This was why a certain ancient civ bashed a hole in their skull; there would be profuse hemorrhaging but an increased flow of blood to the brain regardless.
So... in raising our vibration [i.e. raising our circulation] perhaps certain chemicals are better implemented by the brain and give us (pick: hallucination, illusion, dreams, imagery/ daydreams) that we falsely interpret as some kind of suprahuman ability.
