ya know I have managed to find som awesome oriental incense and I just love it ...god it smells so good..but I was wondering if anyone knows how to make it? I have looked up japanese incense and I just didn't know half the herbs the incense called for so I just left it alone lol..but I would love to make a sweet smelliln oriental incense..does anyone know how??? thanks

hmmm. All I could find was that deador cedar and saffron is used, along with white charcoal. Deador is a true cedar, with needles not scales. Cedar of Lebanon, and Blue Atlas Cedar will work well to as they are very closely related and thought actually to be the same species of a different variety. Deador is a warmer zone 7 i think, you might find them in your area. The other two are definately around though. Saffron is a very pretty crocus flower that comes up in the early spring. You can order the bulbs, or seeds from various herb sales places. Saffron is one of the most expensive herbs in the world, so I would recommend growing it.

really, cool okay thank you!!! hmm, well maybe Ill stick with the morning star incense lol, because that is oriental and it smells so good..but maybe Ill try to make it..I ll see what my local herb shop has.. thanks again.
