Hi there Rapunzel nice to meet you. I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I have a 5 year old Keeshond that "I love to pieces". Our cat passed away a few years ago and our poodle passed away last year. There are plenty of animal lovers here and an abundance of friendly people. I would love to see some of your work some time basket weaving sounds very interesting. I do pyrography and am currently making websites using html. I find that html allows more personalization and for me it's an art. When I make anything wheter it be pyrography or websites I infuse the project with love and happiness. I'm sure you do much the same with your projects. There is nothing that can compare to something handmade with love.
I look forward to chatting with you more.

Keeshonds are great dogs really beautiful and very smart. I had one that used to close doors that were left open! Then it passed away via a car. Then I got another that was also very smart, then the same fate. I had about 15 dogs that shared that fate, God bless their souls. Now I have a cat, and he stays indoors!

Wow that sucks I'm sure it was hard on you to see them pass that way. Mine is smart too. They are pretty generally smart dogs. Sometimes I think she just knows what's to come before it happens. I know when I get my migraines or whenever I'm not feeling well she'll lay beside me and become my personal little shadow for the day. She is so sweet. We trained her not to go out in the road lol, she know the "black stuff" is a no no and whenever she comes up to it she'll sit and wait until we are with her and tell her to cross. I know she is my personal angel and I'm thankful for her every day.

oh Im sorry to hear about Rapunzels dog (sorry I`ve overlooked, thank you anise) and Im also very sorry for Incubus, I didnt know that you`ve had such a heavy dog-fate - oh thats the worst thing I can imagine. I do look every day at the street if my cat-love is laying there, and like anise said Im thankful for every single day he`s alive. He sits down like a dog when I say, he opens doors, of course without me saying so lol, he just jumps up. He understands everything I say and when I do come home I first have to listen to his stories. When he comes running excited towards me, then I know he has had trouble at his "work", the parking place he is guarding. Then I search for his wounds and clean them. Then I have to do the mouse-game. When I come home he mostly immediately jumps on my arm and suckles at my t-shirt, like a baby, he does that since 7 years and every night, after he`d returned from "work" he`s waking me up to feed him and then he`s sleeping in my arms. Also he loves when I do chant-meditation, he then jumps on the cushion on my legs, looks above my head (at the spirits I guess), then he purrs with me. I`ll die when he will be gone, at least a very big part of me will be gone too. Its the most wonderful gift I ever have received from god. lgn

That's a lovely story Nani. What a wonderful cat you have. I like how he "works" lol and he has to tell you how his day went. That's adorable.
Hey have you all heard about the new show on animal planet I think it's called K-9 Karma. I read an article about it and the lady has been working with her dog doing yoga. She has been able to incorporate her dog into her yoga positions. I'm guessing that's what the show is about (teaching pet parents how to incorporate their beloved furry friends into their yoga routine). I'm sure there is more to it but the article wasn't very informative. I'm going to see what it's all about (if I can remember when it comes on and actually turn the t.v. on at that time). I don't watch t.v. much at all anymore.
