Again I'm a day late on this topic...though time is another topic all together. Let me ask you this.... were the Gods of the toltecs, Aztecs, anazasi, Inca, Maya, Egyptians, Hawaiians, Maori, ancient Chinese, Zulu mere illusion? Is death an illusion, what about life? Free will dictates that anything we chose to believe is real, and anything we reject is not.

interesting. there is a common belief among eastern philosophies, that reality is an illusion, and that we exist as part of "brama's dream" and won't be here when Brama wakes, or merely in "the world of Maya (illusion)" where everything is a red herring, and all our senses conspire to drag us away from our true selves. therefore one could ask weither their astral experiance was just another angle to veiw the dream we live in, Perhaps even a regular dream is too? my owm experiance in this waking world, and in the sidereal world, are one and the same. If you believe all the stories i tell that I say happend, or if you believe none, It does not stop them being real , and in a universe I stand in the center of, my veiw is paramount, as is yours in your universe. I missed this thread as well and it is a interesting one. I think you could look at everything both, as all illusion and all real. Mykodd, hehe...even before I ever got into any of this spiritual stuff I use to think of the possiblity that all that exist is just God's dream life. ;D Maybe I was into this Brama philosophy in some past life. Several months ago I dreamed a dream about my dream self dreaming. I recalled both my dream and my dream self's dream.. ;D

Lost within a dream of a God? Which would explain alot of things.....we would be limited to the boundries set within a God's dream. So how do the dreamed control the dreamer.

Some great things have been written by this "sleepy" head. When the dream of the dreamed drifts into our waking time, the mind sees much.

No OBE's are not illusions....they are more real, then the 'Big Bang theory', just as real as the air that we breath or the emotions we feel.

I cannot recall many OBE's for myself , but any type of dreaming, Lucid, Obe or otherwise How can it not be real?
