Have any of you read this book? It's by Dr. Brian Weiss. He's a psychiatrist and tells the story of a life altering experience due to a particular client. The book I have is two in one and the second book is "Messages from the Masters".
This book is absolutely wonderful very well written and truly inspiring. If you haven't read it I definately recommend it.
To go into more detail of what it's about...
As a Yale-educated psychiatrist versed in conventional therapy, Brian Weiss was understandably skeptical when his young patient stopped describing her childhood and started describing life in ancient Egypt, circa 1863 B.C. But when she spoke from “the space between lives” with a message about Weiss’s own life, the two found themselves on a journey that changed them both.
Many Lives, Many Masters charts their uncanny experience, sharing Weiss’s scrutiny of past-life regression and the teachings his patient relays from “master spirits.”
Messages from the Masters distills that insight into a moving vision of our world (a “chaotic one-room schoolhouse” for karmic lessons) and the world beyond, linked by the “all-encompassing energy” of love.

Hello Anise, I have those two books, but have not got around to reading them yet. Your discription makes me want to dig right in,bur I've still got 3 or 4 books that I'm in the middle of right now. I do plan to spend this afternoon finishing up on at least one of them. LOL! I'll put those two in my pile of books to read next. ;D

That sounds like a really interesting book. I'll have to see if they have it at the library. Yep...they have four copies on the shelf and I have to go tomorrow. I'll check it out.

It's not a love story...it's actual sessions between his client and him (I'm assuming she gave him permission to write it so much detail). She goes on to see him for anxiety disorders but they find out soooo much more...... It's reads rather quickly because like I said you just keep wanting to turn the pages. Here is his website if you want to check it out: www.brianweiss.com/

I went to the library today and wouldn't you know it I couldn't find the book. Maybe the system was wrong. I'll have to look again next time.
