You are right! I was just thinking about how many high quality posts we have here and the dedication is beautiful.
I've thought about this topic a lot. Personally, I think time is just a concept to explain something that doesn't make much sense and probably will never make sense. I think...time travel isn't possible because there is no future and there is no past. There is only now. Everything basically occurs at once. Our perception of time is basically just the recording in our memories. There is no way to access the past in anyway except through our memories. Yes you can argue about "well what about dinosaur bones, what about photographs of the past." But, essentially...that stuff is in the present...it's not in the past. You see that photograph...those dinosaur bones in the present. You can never see it in the past or the future. Some people talk about how there is no present because we are continuously in the future. This is extreme in my opinion. The thing about time travel is that...it's so confusing. If you alter something in the past...then it was already altered...so you can in fact change nothing in the past. That's why it's impossible. If you went to the past now...then you were already in the past...and...my head hurts. XD

I see your points Amy, hello nice to meet you lol, but then there's the concept of alternate realities and so on. So maybe if something is altered in the past that in constantly creates another alternate reality or parallel universe. Uh it's already starting to hurt... I better stop now... Too much... I've time traveled before... I went everywhere all at once. Became everything. To the point that there's no such thing as distance or time and found that there is no beginning or end. Or so I was lead to believe by the aliens... Whether any of it was true is still a mystery to me. But wow did it blow my freakin mind!

hmmm, well sometimes I beleive that we are in the future constantly moving and shaping this world, how did we manage to manipulate time than??because we have obviously... and your right we can not prove the past, ugh maybe its just all happening at once and humans focus on the now therefore we mange to hold this perception still for a bit if that makes sense. and derek what are you talking about? elaborate please if you want to anyway...

I believe I sent you a PM or wrote to you about that experience back when it happened... Was like 3 years ago though. At least I think I did. Has probably been the most profound experience of my life. Maybe I will elaborate sometime publicly here on this forum. But like a dream it's lost so much of its energy. After It happened I still had so much feeling for the experience for quite some time. But over the years it's become a distant memory... though ever since that experience every now and then I will sometimes enter into that 'zone of mind' and feel the wall that I've built to protect myself from 'them' begin to shake and it can be very freaky. Nearly like the movie where the kid says "I see dead people". It's like that. Where I feel 'them' penetrating into my... not sure what the word is. View. Hmmm. I better stop now before I summon them. Don't feel like doing that right now.

I am very curious now to hear about this Derek! Intense experience. I also want to clarify. Lilac...are we talking about time travel in the physical sense or the astral sense? I think time travel in the astral sense is definitely possible. I agree with alternate realities but I don't think they're very accessible in the physical sense...if you know what I mean.

What Derek said about alternate realities, although I cheated and got that concept out of Jane Roberts/Seth books. Honestly, my worldview has been so influenced by those book, that I can't sort in my mind what I believed in originally and how my believes changed after reading them. Yes, I believe you can travel in time. Do I really need to elaborate? lol In fact, we time travel ALL THE TIME. Lately, there is more and more opportunities to do so too. When for example you think intensely about some experience that happened in the past (or future, but that's a different topic), you do transport part of you there. Just because we are not completely conscious of the process...yet, doesn't mean it's not real. Both past and present are about probabilities. There are probabilities in the past and there are probabilities in the future. If you travel in the past, you change your life in a way, but since you enter a different probability, you won't even know that your life is any different. It's really kind of difficult to comprehend, but in order to do it, you have to forget about what you know about reality. You have to, like Derek did, realize that you are everywhere at once already, which is really mind blowing and I don't expect my conscious mind to understand it. By the way, Derek, I hope you have fun reading the Nature of Personal Reality. I just finished Seth's Dreams book Volume II. In it, Seth described this concept of all matter being made up of units of consciousness. They are the most basic building block, but also conscious entities at the same time. We are all made up of them, and they are everywhere at once. Animals and trees and all other matter are made up of them too, so you can see how easy it is to conclude that every time we eat, we eat ourselves, and every time we do anything, we are doing it to ourselves. That is the concept of Oneness of course. Elementary school stuff, eh?

Beautiful stuff, Lena. We learned something similar in a Biology course I'm taking. The matter in our bodies was once part of the trees, the dinosaurs, the rain, the rocks, etc. The matter just cycles constantly so that we become a part of everything and everything becomes a part of us. Energy, on the other hand, flows in and out freely. You can never really harness energy because it will eventually be released back into the environment or even back into space.

section its the opposite i think....we release into the forward in order to stop time, in fact my beliefs are we are constantly creating the future...therefore it creates a stop and we can live here with time.......yep sooo if we are everywhere at once of course we are gonna be in the place that creates time or stops it...
