Blake, I read this in an article today in my Fate mag. and thought it may be of some interest to you.
Quote: Astronomers are astounded by a black hole 2.6 billion light years away in the heart of galaxy MS 0735, which has been blasting a massive eruption of matter into space since dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Scientists are stunned by the scale of the blast: the largest, most energetic burst ever observed, it's plumes stretch more than six trillion miles out in space. "I almost fell out of my chair," said Ohio University astrophysicist Brian McNamara. The discovery illuminates black holes' ability to expel matter, not just consume it. "It shows quite dramatically that black holes can affect space on an enormous scale," McNamara said, "It's clear that super-massive black holes play a fundamental role in shaping the universe." Other astronomers, presenting new research at the American Astronomical Society, say they have observed an orbiting wave in the fabric of space-time itself around a spinning black hole and have recorded blobs of gas as large as our sun being pulled into another black hole at 20,000 miles per second, roughly ten percent of the speed of light.

wow, thats fascinating cc, thanks for posting that, Black holes scare me, lol but they are very interesting. I read somewhere that the universe is growing more and more every second, I just can't began to grasp how bit it could actually be and how much it is growing. It astounds me still how much we have done in space and how much we can record.

I would sure love to know what Paul Davis thinks about this black hole spitting out matter. Have you read any of his books. They are kind of hard to understand completely, because it was kind of over my head on some of the stuff he wrote about, but what I could understand was very interesting. I think sometimes it's good for the mind to read something hard so that you can give your mind a good work out. LOL!

Geez! I didn't know black holes could spit stuff out too! That amazing. Black holes scare me a bit too, Ronni. If they can squish a planet the size of Earth into the size of a golfball, then think about if it squished a person...that person might end up smaller than an atom or even the subatomic particles that make up an atom.
I wonder what it would be like to go through a black hole while out of body...? Now there's an experiment I'd like to try once I get back on track with my OBEs.

yeah sleep I would like to venture through one myself sometime, I don't really go into space all that much while Im out, I would like to though, I hope I do someday.

If the black hole sucks your astral boby in you probably would never be able to come back to your body.

ahh don't cry Llinda, Im sure that woudn't happen but ya never know I suppose, I still wonder if black holes are teleporters to other realms, perahps a new galaxy far,far away or something totally differant than what we are aware of in this universe.

Yeah, it could be a whole other universe on the other side. ;D

I watched a program on black holes the other day, kinda strange when I saw this topic here! ;D It's amazing how destructive they are and they how they can consume a sun like 100 times bigger than our own. It showed how our earth would be effected if one entered out solar system heading for earth. Pretty scary stuff Interesting though, although maybe it wouldn't effect our astral bodies because it's all to do with the density of the gravity that causes the destructivness and I don't think gravity would effect our OBE's. Love Megan xx

From CCI think that CC's right. If I had the chance to go in a black hole, I definitely wouldn't do it, but best of luck to those who want to try it lol.
My black holes professor was talking about the worm hole theories what I got from it, is that they could exist theoretically WRT mathematic equations, but they really don't. He said you'd need like two "white hole" which would be time inversed black hole to connect at the event horizons. That is my understanding, but I thonk you should be able to read about it on that link I gave ya CC now if you want.

Okay, I don't know much about black wholes, but I was just thinking that if there are other universes out there, could there be another earth, or humans, but just in a different universe? I kinda wonder if this is possible because of the people that even see aliens! I'm sure they're not from around here!!

I found this on a webpage and thought it was interesting. The inter-dimensional tear and the entities that merged with the human form set in motion the eventual fall of Atlantis, and the "Fall of Man". The fall of man was a necessary experience, and was enacted to solve a larger universal problem. The ongoing wars between 3rd and 5th dimensional galaxies caused a tremendous number of "black holes", each of which is a destroyed planet, star or galaxy. Black holes, as scientists have discerned, are an inverted or collapsed energy system that pulls anything that comes near it, into it, including light and life force. The number of black holes currently equals 42% of the entire 3 dimensional universal mass. If the black holes exceeded 50% of the entire mass, it could threaten to effect the vibration of the entire universe, propelling it further down into matter than could quite possibly be recovered.
The Melchizedek Order, who are the keepers of the occult knowledge of this universe, determined that destruction had to be stopped. Evolution and destruction are opposite polarities of the same energetic force. Evolution and destruction must occur at the same pace to keep the universal energy in balance. If evolution is stopped, so is destruction. The fall of man was enacted by members of the Melchizedek Order to stop evolution, thereby stopping destruction, until a solution could be found to heal the entire universe.
A part of the solution is the current genetic alterations now available to upper-level initiates around the globe. Many of you currently incarnate on the planet carry a lot of guilt and shame for believing that you had caused the fall of man. It is due to the fact that the entire story of why the fall was enacted had been lost. In now understanding the universal purpose that it has served, we request that those of you carrying the guilt and shame to please forgive yourselves, as you actually served a very high purpose... www.luisprada.com/Protected/The_Fall.htmThis is the webpage if you want to read the rest of the article.

Hi im new to this forum. I thought this topic was of intrest to me. My theory on black holes even before crazy cat posted what she had, was that black holes wher a kind of telaporter from one galaxy to the next, maybe kinda like takeing the hiway to work lol. I think maybe they crush things down so they can accelerate objects from one end to another. I think black holes are basicly worm holes and. I dont think your astral body can be harmed by it to tell the truth.
