There a few websites out there that have free tarot deck downloads, that you can print off and paste onto card. there are also cheap blank tarot decks you can use for pasting. I prefer to do the whole thing myself. I like my own backs and i like to create my own images.. Sometimes being an artist, I like to use my favourite Artists paintings as the images. I would love to do an Impressionism deck.
I have done a Waterhouse deck of my own.. I will try to find the usb i created it on and share it with you.
I have edited this post because all of the links for some reason did not work, a few posts down you will find a post with a load of links that do work!!
Have Fun!!

I clicked on two of those you put up here, and all it did was bring up a new window of this same thread. Something is wrong here, DB. I have always been interested in creating my own deck--I have purchased blank cards to do so, but haven't yet started. I've had the blanks for years! A bit of a procrastinator, aren't I?

Pretty cool DB! and yes show us your stuff! I have too always wanted to create my own deck as well, but I found it is easier said than done due to many many variables of just wanting to paint them all myself which I did start doing, but were talking 78 cards here! lol

Thanks Noodle there is something definitely wrong here.. I clicked on them all.. and every single one of them redirected me back to this thread.. I have no idea what is wrong, I will find the websites again and re post them differently , rather than using the link button.

I have made a few decks, I am still looking for my Waterhouse deck..its on usb still.. I made my own template according to my preferred size using microsoft publisher.. I now have the "complete office program" nowadays, and the drawing program is pretty cool.. and usable for creating a tarot deck.
Just think about a program you already have that can insert tables and images.. along with text and you are set!!
If you don't want to muck around i am pretty sure there are already pre-made templates out there for Tarot decks..
I did make one deck out of an ordinary playing cards.. I used a beautiful dark wild rose decoupage paper to cover the backs.. I used ordinary wood glue.. Aquadhere. It dries clear. And the fronts i covered in plain paper , you can choose to keep a corner uncovered to show the playing card if you choose. and i used acrylic paints to create a shortened version of the Tarot. Using the zodiac to depict the Kings, Queens, Knights and Pages.
There is another deck i just printed off onto normal A4 plain paper in the size i wanted.. and then laminated them.. this is a great way to make a deck that fits in your handbag.. You will need very sharp scissors and a corner punch which you can get at most craft shops. or in the beginning i used small curved nail scissors to do the corners.
Good luck , Have fun !! And hopefully you will be able to show me your results.. I will try to dig mine out!!
