I was just on my way home and it was snowing badly with ice on the roads. I told the driver "woah, your driving is scaring me", and she was a little upset about it. I told her I don't mean to insult you but I had felt fear, like we were going to slide off the road. Then, sure enough, about 1 min later we were sliding all over the road. I kept saying 'it's ok, we're allright, just relax' while we slide back and forth along the road. I was worried her panic would send us into a hydro poll but we slide off the road just off the shoulder into a snow bank facing backwards. WHEW. We were lucky there was no oncoming traffic, and the snow bank cushioned the car's impact. She was driving in a pissy mood, I saw the whole thing coming. HAHA that was fun.

That's why I'm glad we moved to Florida from New Hampshire! Cannot stand the snow! Even though it is pretty to look at when you're inside a nice warm building, next to a fireplace, with a hot cup of tea, looking out the window at all the glittery snow. Anyway...I'm glad that you were not hurt.

I didn't really need to say I told you so, but I did. After all I had to endure her pissyness in silence up until we slide out. It was quite fun in the end, and almost enjoyable while it was happening. Crazy how long one moment can last.

Yes I would love to be in Florida soakin up the rays and admiring the scenery as opposed to freezin by butt off in a windy snowy mess. Although I like to go out in the absolute worst blizzard of the year, and bundle up warm like an eskimo and go for a tour.

What an interesting story. Glad you both are safe though you know it could have been a lot worse. You two were very fortunate.
Florida is great I love it there. I wish we could move there and believe me it has crossed my mind several times. I don't like the cold let alone snow. It's pretty to look at like you said but I hate having to get around in it. So if I move to Florida I can take vacation time in the winter to visit family and enjoy a bit of the snow for a short time then return to the comfort of warmth.

Yeah, I really enjoy living in Florida. I haven't been back to New Hampshire, in over 17 years. Monterey, California was nice, too, but it is too expensive to live there. I was glad that I didn't have to pay for housing for the time I was living there. The cost of living in Florida is much better.
