Strengthening Your Aura
Strengthening you aura can be a very easy task. One of the biggest ways to damage your aura is by having bad habits. By changeing these habits you get strength. For example getting more sun, excercising, eating smaller more frequent meals, playing soothing music, lighting a scented candle, or auromatherapy, meditating fequently, even just for ten minuttes a day. All these things will strengthen your aura. To see these effects follow the steps I outlined at the beginning of the post, and ask your partner to take a deep breath. You will see the change. Also send them positive, loving thoughts and you will see how these thoughts effect the aura as well. It will grow immensly. A dowser will even experience the instrument swing back away from the aura while it grows from the positive thoughts. Simply go to a quiet room, light a candle, stare at it and clear your mind. Watch the candle's aura-like rings around the flame. Focus on the flame and not your troublesome day. Even if just for five minuttes it will clean your aura and re-energize you!

My progress on seeing auras...
Today I went for a bike ride. I was having a great time just enjoying a bike like a kid! I was simply staring at the trees, insects and such. I went over the bridge near my house, looking at the rapids. I noticed what I thought was a piece of wood far off in the river. I thought that it looked like a bird. The more I watched this 'stick' I realized it was a Great Blue Heron. I watched as it's head moved back and forth as it was observing the surroundings, and then it began to drink or eat from the water. I figued I would try to view it's aura, and with no difficulty at all I began seeing it as a super-imposed glow around it. I sat frozen at the side of the road for almost an hour just watching the bird on this rock. I noticed my view of the aura would get ingulfed with a purple glow, and I would lose the bird's aura. After a while of trying to figure out what this massive purple glow was, I found out it was the tree's reflection in the water. The tree's aura, this one inpaticular, was much easier for me to see then the birds, and it would engulf the bird's. I looked up at the trees and I could see the same aura on the tree in question. I also found it was much easier to see in the reflection of the water.
On my way home I saw a great Eagle circleing in the sky. I watched in amazment as it flew. I watched it for about 20 minuttes as it soared away over a distant forest, where it met another eagle. I thought I would try to see the eagle's aura as well, and sure enough it was easy to see it's energy glow flying right along with it. I would capture this sight and lose it many times. I found it easier to hold this image if I moved my eyes a little every so often, kind of like a little shake of my eyes.
Anyways I thought this experience was very nice, and thought I'd post my findings.

Incubus, you are advancing nicely. I'm still experimenting with the colors you see after staring at and object for about a minute than looking away... I've been busy.

Sounds awesome. You're inspiring me to work more with viewing auras. I've been working more with looking at strangers and trying to feel their energy and sense their personality with out knowing them at all. Then talking to them and seeing how it changes if it does. I've become more of a people (and nature) watcher than ever before. Do you sort of put yourself into a state of trance to a degree or do you do the soft focusing your eyes technique? Maybe a little of both?

Its good to hear people are trying this because it is very cool, and fun to do. It clears the mind for a long time as well, like a meditation.amazing. For people in the dream study this is a way of hunting and stalking the assemblage point. By finding and keeping this hieghtened state of awareness.
~Existenceisadream I gaze at the subject, using a soft-focus. Then I try different points of relaxing my eyes until I see like a super-imposed image. It is kind of like a static I see first over laping reality. Like a 'sun spot' over imposed on the image. I think it is better described as seeing with your mind and your eyes together...super-imposed together. It's hard to explain but easy to do, I just start to relax my eyes and start to cross them ever so slightly, creating a mildly blurred image. That next creates the image of the energy, and makes it easier to hold, and see without seeing. The point of water that interupted the farther view, made it easier to see, although it was not needed. The water did not interfere with the aura whatsoever, but I think it might interfere with colours.
~Goodboy Its good you are doing the soft-focus colour tests-training. The best thing to do is take your time with these things, just opening your mind to this will make it happen. Good luck.

YAY I saw great colours today. I loked at the beautiful honey locust trees and saw brilliant shades of brown. Some trees were tinted with gold, I thionk cuz they are street trees growing in a the crappy sidewalk.
The more we try to preseive these auras, and energy the easier it gets. The colour was only there for about 3-4 seconds then it was gone. But i tried to again later and held it for about 5-6.

A couple of days ago while doing my new advanced wake back to sleep technique I rode my bike to a beautiful huge park with a nice huge creek flowing through it. There's huge Oak trees that dominate the area and I decided to do about an hour of meditaion/yoga/energy raising with my eyes shut for a majority of the time. After I look at one of the gigantic oaks and can see it's aura but it seems more like it's energy (I guess this is the same thing) all around it. There's trees everywhere but I focus on just this one. This "seeing" only lasts for so long and then fades. On my way home on my bike I look at trees and can get glimpses of there energy around them. I find in the morning and when the sun is shining just right on them it's mush easier to see their energy.
