Hi Osiris! I have done your reading, using the Dreampower Tarot. Will sleep on it tonight (the reading, not the tarot Lol), get the cards scanned tomorrow, and post when I get home!

Question: Where does my partner need to venture next for their spiritual journey?Hi Osiris!! I used the dreampower of R.I. Stewart. The spread I used uses the momentum of energy. The top card gives insight around the question and direction. The card on the right shows the energy available (or lacking) in order to achieve objective The card at the bottom shows the harvesting, what can be reaped, and also may indicate any resolution to any difficulties The card on the left shows the outcome of the situation at present, what is being manifested. The central card is a wild card… may show future potentials arising out of the present situation. Rather cool, as to the question, since the energy card is that of the VOID. This is all potential that comes out of the no-thing and returns to the no-thing, carrying with it the All. The potential here is limitless and shows that you have much energy at your disposal or for your use. This is the energy of creation, manifestation, kind of represents all potential and all polarities, since polarity is something subsequent to the act of creation. Basically it is showing that you have the potential to venture into unknown territory! The top card, 4 fire/salamanders shows that your venturing forth is within the company of others. it is not an isolated journey, but one of connections with others, and best shared with others. Time to join with others on your spiritual journey, and to expand that outwards to encompass more. Not always sure what the journey will entail, but all connection is for creative purposes. The connection between one and an-other creates new waves that expand and encompass a larger area of awareness. It shows that it is time to move onwards! This takes you to the Ace of earth/gnomes. This is a card of manifest wisdom and universal law. The potential is great but also you have to actually make a start. The intention is there (in the top card) and this shows the direction that your next step takes. it is one of earth. Spirituality is often seen as something different and separate from our normal mundane life – kind of a special area to go to, to get away. But spirituality is part and parcel of mundane life. Spirit manifests through the physical and your next step is to bring the into your daily life. How you do that is in more practical ways, in your interactions with others you spread your light (the fire of Mind) Perhaps in some course or teaching/facilitating capacity? This does not need to be formal, can be informal and most probably indicative of current connections you have in your life. A new way of approaching with yourself and others to merge the spiritual with the mundane. The resulting manifestation of your new venture in merging the spiritual with the mundane, is the Queen of Ancestors; earth in water. She is stable and within her waters rests the fires of mind. This is intuition and the gift of prophecy. Prophecy in its simplest terms is that of knowing. She holds the gift of the Underworld, of knowing what is to be and what can be. She represents the feminine wisdom of life and creation, for creation through knowing. The best way to predict the future is to create it. (Lol) The ace aligns you to the physical world and to wisdom, and she (the Queen) will be your outcome. She is also the Mother. I have a feeling that she represents someone in your life. Perhaps you will meet someone or have already met? Whatever it is, she shows good relations coming out of the connections in the 4 fire and the sharing of the next part of your journey. For your journey is a shared one to reach it fullest potential. The wild card follows on the ace, the 2 earth/gnomes. This shows that the potential out of this is and was inevitable. There is really only one direction to go to maintain the harmony of spirit and substance. You will not have to figure it out, but it will come to you unbidden, perhaps in meditation? The Void is a good card to meditate on. It often reveals the connections between everything – that answers come before questions and endings before beginnings. The answer you know, often it’s a matter of the question. The question often shows the direction, and we live out the ending to reach the beginning. Basically… its time to share your wisdom, and move forward creating the life that supports that and yourself and those connected with you. The enrgy is available, always has been to bring the proverbial Heaven to Earth!! With love Daphne

Hello, I had a great time doing your reading. I sat and meditated just a bit on your picture this morning after a great shower. After that i tried to breath in your presence and your intent. I have to admit for being sooo far away and only knowing you for a while it fealt very natural. I will post the actual meaning of the cards and than/or with my thoughts just because im a noob to tarot. I used lilac's technique that she posted with a four card lay out. As soon as i started to turn them i could feel it was not my own read and that made it feel very good. starting from left to right and useing my favored Dragon tarot. #1; Empress This earth goddess personifies abundance, fertility, and inexhaustible source of life. I really liked this for a first place and fealt that this card symbolizes a necessity to open the possibilities layed out before you, maybe you are stuck in a pattern of usefull but maybe "stale" energy thus you should look and recieve from all your companions in life and the after. maybe you already have ideas for the future but they should definatly include grounding and realizing the power nature has to offer. #2; Death; I dont think a description of this card will help here just that it follows the empress was enough to let me know there is surly a end coming with a new beggining. It could be an energy pattern or maybe some shocking end but it will be followed by growth and new life or luster for. A door will close only to open another. #3; Wheel of fortune; I was very happy to pull out this following death it is a sign that to me means yin and yang. The ends through the death card have a great new door to open when followed by the wheel. I do however feel that this will bring a new challenge that will be inspireing and in the end very rewarding. Maybe this is a flowing path for you that mearly needs a gentle push to complete the circle. #4; The chariot; This is a perfect end card, for the reward of comeing full circle you will find victory or a triumph over maybe a goal or a life situation. Just remember its a circle so even after triumph the chariot must carry you on to greater goals and psychically speaking that is a good endless plan of knowledge and gain through whatever means you like. weather it be love or darkness. Maybe you are still heald back by a religious feeling or training from the past, to complete this wheel and ride the chariot to victory you have to dig deep into YOU. There you will see what is needed. There you are. I decided to leave out the silly card explanations except the first and it helped me to just feel the situation better than being mechanized by the book.

Wow! Thas beautiful Osiris! Thanks! Just a first over-all read and I get the feel for it. I will look at it closer, not sure about the cards "postions" in the spread, but I like the way they follow one the other - Empress, Death, Wheel of Fortune and Chariot. I'll go over it and then come back to you on it in a while

I re-read the area where you said the spiritual with the mundane. That is actually a revelation i lived out just the past week. It is opening new doors for me to do. Actually check out the last post on my journal it is a little eary actually. Have you done this alot? DO you think that because we do not know each other it interferes or because we are so seperated in distance? With this after looking back again i have to say you could have let me break your deck and been right in front of me. What do you mean by positions? That is the order that they were pulled and i laid them from left to right. Hmm im new sorry i dont understand better.

Interesting, on a second read what jumped out at me is that very often i tend to procrastinate and just let things 'be'. There is a place for that too.. but sometimes, 'going with the flow' is not really going with the flow but rather letting the flow carry me.. so to speak.. When that happens, it is rareto be open to new opportunities that may come my way, kind of still in that stuck energy you mentioned. Seeing this, I will meditate on it.. I like to meditate too :) and also dream on it.. my dreams often show me when i ask.. I like the potential of the Chariot there. To me it is about will.. and that is something I have been focused on, will and intent. The death card with the wheel shows big changes; perhaps I also need to stop a moment and see them - kind of take cognisance of where I am, what is around me and where to go. It is all there if the focus is there. kind of like where to place my attention.. I had a dream recently that perhaps also showed me that..
The cards show really how what we are in every moment is like the sum of what we are at all times, and we just sort of pick a moment of that to expereince, and then can go to other 'moments', but that it is all there, and always is there, the whole of it. Its the movement to toher moments of that which we are which propels us forward, open to all energies, and to more of the "Self". Always the real Self, just in different patterns of expereince. We can repeat those patterns or 'birth' new ones with our will.
Hmm.. nice Osiris! I will continue thinkin on this! Thanks!

Hi Osiris! What i mean by "positions" is that each card placement has a meaning that is read together with the card and ofcourse together with the other cards. You did that admirably! I am not familiar with Lilac's spread that you used, so i looked at as a flow of the energy from Empress to Death to Wheel to Chariot, each being their own, yet encompassing the previous, unfolding the next and sort of capped by the Empress at the start and the Chariot at the end - though of course there is no real ending or beginning, it is however the story of that moment in 'time and space'.
Have read you entry in your journal. It is the Osiris's Canon thread? I couldn't find another.. The reading I did for you shows me very much the integration of the spiritual with the 'mundane'. Your energy card was a very high card (the Void) full of potential, kind of like being able to draw out anyhting from the void, its all there for the taking.. (in a manner of speaking) but also needs to find its focus and direction, and for that the earth came in strongly, culminating in the Queen of Ancestors. Interesting that the Queen of Ancestors is somehwat similar to the Empress you drew for me, but more 'mundane' in that her attention is focused on the birthing of that which the Empress represents in her more 'architypal' aspect. Nice connection there between the readings.
I don't think not knowing each other that well or the distance, interferes with the readings. It really is about manifesting intent. Your focus on my picture and my focus on 'you' is what connects - it is afterall "energy" - an often much overused and abused word - but nevertheless the only word we really have to express. The form that the energy takes is then the manifestation, in this case the reading. Interesting also is that the Empress is that which connects the polarities of 'free' energy and energy that is form - kind of like in quantum theory, the wave and the particle, indeterminism, and the quantum leap that takes one from one part of the spiral to the other; the conductor so to speak. Quantum science is a fascinating topic. Much of the esoteric can be seen in that, and much occult study is scinece by another name. really all just to open up our awareness, as i see it. In the same way, that is about the spiritual and the mundane, in that the spiritual is in everyhting and the mundane is its expression. I like to fly.. Lol.. and the mundane helps to keep me grounded and open to observation. Through observing, all is seen and know.. well.. in bits anyway..I think "all" would probably be too much and we may just combust!! Lol Your start card of 4 fire/salamanders to me is also about the sharing that we do in the creative act and also about the stabilizing of will. It is will that allows the manifestation of intent - well.. thats how I see it now.. still learning about the connections between will and intent - and seeing how they flow in your reading I did for you, gives me also better insight on that.
Although the readings were for you and for me, they are also shared readings in the sense that the connection is there and so then is the sharing.. thats what 'connection' really does - shares and mingles energy, and expands the area of awareness.
Nice knowing you Osiris!

Thank you. I just wanted to agree that energy is sooo over used. If i could find some other interpretations in hebrew, egyptian,or something i would use um...lol. Quantum physics is very definatly related to the esoteric along with Most science. But there is a lacking aspect in science when it comes to the metaphysical and GOD. I have just left the study of quantum for another time. I have so much n one plate i decided not to even go there yet. I have seen the interactions between Alchemy and science, but even seen connections in government, psychology, and medicine.

Just wanted to let you know that am working on the Empress - Wheel -Death -Chariot combo. Its a nice one and already have seen much in it on meditation. Interesting that it kind of climaxes in the Chariot because that is something I have been looking int recently.. the whole thing around "will".. Again.. thanks for a realy cool, and most helpful reading!
