i have just had a pretty cool dream, I was in a huge house with my family and it was x-mas, my mom was sitting on the couch and I was sitting on the floor ,we were looking at my x-mas tree, and there were a lot of gaps in it and we could see through it, anyway, I took my index finger and pointed and I just started filling in the tree....(with my powers) to make it look full and my mom said "thats pretty Ronni" lol, thats funny, I could also move objects, like there were standing fans, and when I pointed to them I could move them, and adjust them. I have dreamed of using my powers with my index finger before but it has been a while. I think It means that I have the power to change anyting around me that I don't like, and of course my family is there to back me up on anyting I choos, mostly it is about personal power and how I will use that.

Dreams are strange and wonderful things. Was this dream you had lucid?
I find that in lucid dreams I can make anything I want happen. In fact, that is how I become conscious in a dream. I try flying or something impossible in the real world, and if it's possible, I know I'm dreaming =P.

yeah I agree with you, I will be adding some lucid dream guides later to the group and to the forum, It seems for me though that I don't have to say aloud "im dreaming"! Its like I just know that I am dreaming and I control things from there, I do not have to confirm it by saying it in the dream, it does help many people though to say "this is a dream or Im dreaming", I think it helps those who are just starting out and I would suggest using confirmations, because they do help to focus. And that is the key sometimes, also trying to take flight is one of the best things you can do to alter your lucidity, and gain power of the dream and also to induce astral projection.

Yeah. I'm not the greatest lucid dreamer yet, I'm getting better, and I find that Reality Checks work good. But I do understand that someone who has a better skill at LD could tell they were dreaming without a reality check.
I find in lucid dreams i end up in wierd settings. In fact, the other day I was in the middle of a forest at a big castle entrance, yet i still needed a reality check to realize i was dreaming. You'd think that the setting alone would be enough for me to realize i was dreaming.
I just gotta keep working on it =P

hmm, well realtiy checks do help alot, also affirmations you could use during the day that will help train you to check to see if your dreaming and go lucid from there, I know for me, when I first started out I would ask myself if I was dreaming during the waking hours and this will eventualy seep into the subconscious, another thing most people do not know is that your perception of the world around you and your thoughts in waking life sometimes need altering, I think that the more depth in perspectives you have the more powerful your mind will be, and this will of course carry over into the subrealms, like doing mind work such as learning to open your awareness more, by looking at things differantly and objectively will also help your over all mind abiliites. I have also done psychic work to improve on this and to open my mind to a new awareness.....

We use words to explain the inexplicable. For me, my "real" life is where ever I happen to have my attention and my focus - my awareness. In dreams, lucid, OBE, 'ordinary' - wahtever labels we give them, well that is my reality there and then. When I am 'awake' I observe around me as if this was a dream too. The only time I really know anything is in the moment, wherever the moment is and whenever Lol The rest is just conjecture and the mind's capacity for creativity, memory, and manifestation, past as well as future. You could say I see myself as awareness, having a conscious expereince! Lol But of course.. we need words if we are to communicate our separation and share the expereince of it! "Hello hand!!" said the Leg! "How's it on your side of the Universe?" Lol Body, soul, spirit.. they are all the same to my mind! That to me is the 'holograph' - that any which way, it always is. Lucid dreaming is when I know I am awake, and lucid awake is when I know I am dreaming! Lol Hi Onry! Nice to meet you!
