Forgive me if this question has come up before. I had this dream of a gentlemen whom in my dream I was really close to. I felt in my dream that I really knew and loved him so much that when I woke up I started crying real tears because I wanted so much to be back with this man. I have never met or seen this man in this lifetime. Obviously he was a good friend or soul mate in one of my lifetimes. I've never felt that way in a dream before. Anyone out there ever have a dream like this?

Hi Marylin, I think this was a very personal dream, I think most dreams are our hearts speaking to us, and in most of them they show us what we truly desire, and perhaps this man is what you desire in the physcial world, I have had similiar dreams of love or friendship and I think it says to us, that is what we are needing at the time, or it is our secret wish, perhaps this man is someone from a past life also, or someone who could be enetering your life, I have had dreams where I loved a man I never met and soon after I fell in love, so It could mean that as well.

Ronni, I sure hope your right about me meeting him in this lifetime, I would recognize him immediately and would have those feelings for him instantly. But I'm thinking it might of been a past life I went to. Whoever this man was, I can't wait to see him again. It was so heartbreaking waking up. Well I better quit going on about this. It felt so real I can't help it. Thanks again for your comments Ronni.

Marilyn & Ronni, you both mentioned past life in reference to the dream. I had a dream years ago that has stuck with me because it seemed so real, more like a memory. But I was aware that the dream was taking place in medieval times. I was being hunted by witchfinders on horseback (or should that be warlock hunters - I'm male) anyway they caught up with me, I remember vividly lying on the ground in a forest looking up at men on rearing horses ready to strike. Then I started chanting a word that I recall as though it were yesterday 'Kilfemity'. It was as though I was casting a spell on the hunters, then a loud humming sound started, really loud and deep in pitch. The witch hunters then took off in pure fright. I never really researched the word that I chanted so I don't know whether it has any real meaning but I've always fancied the idea that it had something to do with a past life. Does any of this mean anything, I'm not exactly sure what a lucid dream is but if I've ever had lucid dreams this was definitely one of them.

Hi Sundogs, how are you? Thats quite an interesting dream there, but it sounds as if you were more aware, which is lucid, lucid, the state of complete awareness in your dreams, and knowing you are dreaming and being able to take control of them, however, Ihave found that some dreams are actually obes, but they seem like a dream, since we cannot track our consciousness at all times.
I honestly think this is a huge indication of time travel. I also went back to the reniassance times, and I knew I was out of my body, the strange thing was, the people knew me and I felt as I knew them as well, we were all standing there, and a man says "take a look at this play" to everyone as he held it up for everyone to see, I was standing in the middle of everyone just watching him, than he said, " Take a look at the Author" and he smiled at me, and I looked closely at the paper, and my name was on it, than he looked up at me and said " Ronni, you wrote this, but how is that possible"? than everyone began to laugh and so did I as if we all knew that I simply traveled through time, but it was the present as well. it was odd, it was as if we all just knew I was out of my body, and i was well aware of it, becuase after that I was walking with a man, whom I knew pretty well, and my breathing started to slow down and get really heavy, and I knew I had to go back to my body as i walked it got harder to breath, than my consciousness shifted back to me on the couch sleeping, but I was aware the entire time, and I could feel my body breathing, and i just sat and listened to it for a few minutes, than I went back. but I have done this a few times, some how I seem to transport directly back to where I was before.... I think time travel is very interesting, and I already stated many of times that I am begining to think its all happening at once, and I plan on doing more reserch to prove this theory. but I don't mind never knowing the answers, as long as I always get to journey...
so I think its highly possible that you acctually traveld to medievil times. ;D Ronni

I understand what you mean when you say everything is happening at once. I also feel that all existance is a vast holistic system, too much for us to understand as individuals. But perhaps it is really very simple, ever get a fleeting realisation, a feeling that you fully understand all inside a nanosecond. Then the realisation disappears as quickly as it arrived. Perhaps we try too hard, make things too complicated. I think that we are far more immense beings, not just single individuals, with total connection to the holistic system. Now and then we get insights into this, whether it be in the waking, dreaming or OBE state. The key to unlocking our individualistic existance has to be very simple. By the way I think this forum is great, I get to ramble on a bit about this kind of stuff. If I talked like this to my family or friends they would probably offer to make me an appointment with the head doctors. Keep searching, Sundog.

haha hi sundog, yeah I beleive the same, it is us that ocmplicate things, but with simplicity come complexity, they seem to go hand in hand, like black and white, we must have both, but I feel things are simple more often than complex. I think we all have access to everything we seek, it is within us, I think it has always been there, all we have to do is find the key and unlock the door that is hidden underneath reality, subconscious garbage, and things that build over the years , such as feelings and thoughts, I think in order to better find the channel within that bonds the universe, we should first work on ourselves and what we have built as blocks and try to remove them. I still get flashes of insights, and sometimes I don't like what I see, but I do understand that sometimes with every joy there is a sadness, with every life there is a death, but the cycle continues, it is my belief that everything is in cycles, moving ,changeing like the seasons, so with every end there will always be a new begining. whoa, sorry for getting to deep there, haha but thats how I feel... Sundogs, Im glad you like it here!! thanks for being a part of! Ronni

Sundogs, it is possible to travel back and in the future while in an OBE state. I travelled back in time one time. I ended up in Berkshire, England. I spoke to these 2 ladies (dressed in long dresses and funny little hats with English accent) who told me where I was. Believe me I have never been out of Canada accept for a couple of US States in this lifetime. I had a guide one time who took me to the 1800's. It's lots of fun, keep exploring and the people on this site are very helpful, so keep reading.

Ive had dreams like that also. Dreams where I meet with a good looking man and feel a great love attraction to him. Then I awake and still can feel the love, but I cry because he is not really here with me. I also believe this is a desire of my heart and it manifested in a dream. Then I also have dreams where I am in other places and with other people whom I never have met and i am dressed different and acting out scenes and circumstances. I believe these are time travel or past life regressive dreams and they have great meaning if we can sort through some of the symbolism in them. We carry those lives with us whether we like it or not, we can not change the past, but we sure can learn from it ! Love in the light Miana
