Hi everyone, sorry I have not contributed much lately, but I have received bad news last week regarding my brother who just told us he has cancer (leukemia) and it is too far advanced for them to do anything. I have been asking for prayers from anyone who will pray for him. Anyway, I had this dream I thought was pretty cool. I am by myself walking down this wooden sidewalk (like they had long ago). As I am walking I feel someone or something is watching. At first I don't see anything and then I look my my right and see 2 giant eagles (taller than the houses) watching me as I walk along this wooden sidewalk. I did not get scared. I believe I woke up after this for that's all I remember. I know eagles are sacred and I felt blessed by these 2 wonderful giant birds watching over me. Good day and God bless.

Hi Marilyn, I hope your brother is okay.. I am praying for you and your family..
your dream sounds cool, so what do eagles represent to you? I mean what is your personal meaning for them, you must have a connection with them somehow, I have found that sometimes animals in our dreams can show us our inner powers as a representive of our inner selves and our strengths. perhaps that is what the dream is showing you?

Ronni, I appreciate your prayers always. This is what I read on one of the dream interpretations of eagles:
"To see an eagle in your dream, symbolizes nobility, pride, fierceness, freedom, superiority, courage, and powerful intellectual ability. Eagles also indicate self-renewal. You will struggle fiercely and courageously to realize your highest ambitions and greatest desires".
What do you think of this interpretation. All I know is that the eagle is very sacred and powerful. Maybe an eagle is my animal totem. Any thoughts out there? Also, thanks for all your prayers and healing energy for my brother. God knows who you will be praying for.

Your welcome Marilyn, I would suggest asking yourself about this dream and the meaning of eagles to you, I think in order to find the meaning you have to ask yourself.. so what do they mean to you, also in the dream how did you feel? Your feelings will always tell you what your subconscious is trying to tell you or your inner self..

Ronni, when I woke up I felt good, I felt like these eagles were watching over me (like protectors). Eagles have a very special meaning to me. I felt blessed by seeing them. This dream was very lucid. I heard that lucid dreams are the Holy Spirit trying to give you certain messages. I feel that the dream was trying to tell me that I am well protected and guided from the Spirit world. I pray that is what it meant.

well if this is what you felt than you can't deny your own feelings.. ;D I love when I have dreams such as this, for I feel safe and a deep knowing that everything is going to be alright..! I think it is our true selves, giving us messages which could be the holy spirit we are all connected too..

Hi Ronnie, I just got on my computer since this morning. I wanted to tell you about the dream I had last night. I had a dream that I was making funeral arrangements for someone (I did not know for who in my dream), but guess who was helping me make these funeral arrangements (my deceased brother). I also noticed one of my sister's was there too. We were deciding who was going to speak and say the prayers at the funeral. My deceased brother gave me a name of a person of who was to say the prayers. Like I've said before, I have alot of precognitive dreams, I sure hope this wasn't one. Thanks for listening.

Marylin, don't worry.. Im sure this time it was only a dream... perhaps representing your fears, I think our dreams do show us our fears and wishes most of the time, so that we are aware of them..I think they are there to tel us what fears we must face and what we must do to make our wishes come true, other times its just something we picked up along the day with our intuition.. I hope this is not a fortelling dream 0f the future,.. Again Marylin, how did you feel in the dream? Did it seem differant to you than most dreams? I have found my own precognitive dreams are very differant than the rest of them, they stand out to me, the colors are differant, the vibe is differant too, so now I can tell which ones are of the future and which ones aren't ... let me know what you think..

I'm sorry to say Ronni that this dream felt different (like my usual precog. dreams). One time I had this dream I was in a black limousine following a hearse. We were the first car behind this hearse. Well a few months later my step dad died and guess what I was sitting with my mom in a black limousine behind the hearse. This is how the dream felt. But they say nothing is written in stone. Thanks for your usual good comments.

your welcome, and just think positive.. so do you usualy have reacurring dreams such as this if it were to come true, or do you only have one dream? I know for myself, I only have to dream it once , like I said I seem to know when it is a psychic dream..so it sticks with me..but maybe if we don't focus on them, it could turn the events around..?? its strange though, I think Ive only had a few of these types of dreams, ..I haven't had one in a while, I wonder if everyone feels the strange vibe as I do in these dreams, its hard to exsplain, the entired dream just has a weird feeling to it, and the colors are real bright but they are kind of holographic...?

Ronnie I do not have reoccuring dreams if they are precog., I only the dream the dream once also. Another sample of a precog. dream I had once was (I have been recording all my dreams and OBE's for the past 4 years), and I know what you mean about the weird feeling in these dreams. Well in this precog. dream I was in my home with a bunch of people and their was all kinds of food. I even wrote the names of all the people in my dream journal that were in my house (in my dream). Well also a couple of months later my brother committed suicide and everybody gathered at my house and brought food. All the people I wrote in my dream journal were at my house. I have had so many of these dreams, I could write a book. It's good to hear feedback and get other opinions from someone else who shares these experiences. Believe me, I am not going to focus on this dream, after this I hope I forget it altogether. The only good thing about this dream was seeing my deceased brother, he was looking good and it felt so real and that I was really communicating with him. Maybe this will help in a way, I and my deceased brother were really close (we were one year apart), we graduated grade 12 at the same time. We went to University at the same time. I used to live close to him. We were both born in April. Our birthdays are coming up. Last year on his birthday, the first thing I said was Happy Birthday Glen. At work around 10:00 that morning a e-mail popped for me with his name on (althought no message) just his name. I know it was him just telling me he heard me.

Im sorry to hear that about your brother, it must have been hard to deal with such a loss. Im sure your brother is with you, I know I dream of loved ones that have passed on, and I feel its realy them in the dreams. Im sure it is them, I think its good to have suck a strong connection to our inner selves so much that we can get information, sometimes the information is not always good, I have dreamed of similiar things but never as bad as death, I deamed my sister went to jail, and perhaps since she is my twin we do have a connection already.. but the dream was very clear to me, I just knew to listen and pay attention in it, and again the dream had a differant vibe to it.. but in the dream she went to jail due to her boyfriend, so the next day I told her and my mom about it and I said don't go anywhere with Rob(her boyfriend), she said okay, the next day I went to work, and I got a call, and it was my mom telling me my sister was in jail, and My mom said "Well you were right", I didn't know what to think except from that point on, I paid attention to the feeling in my dreams since this was the way to tell them apart, and it has helped me to build my psychic connections as well. I think we all are psychic its a matter of do you want to be..and I think our dreams can tell us far more than we can began to understand, I suppose that is why I decided to continue with dream study and try to help others..

Yes Ronni, I believe that is why we have dreams to help us with our journey here on earth. Some our dreams warn us of future events or like mine precog. Sometimes things are just meant to happen and yes the psyhic abilities do come in alot here. I too am getting good at interpretating my dreams. My son also has precog. dreams and sometimes he tells me his dreams and I can usually interpret his. I hope in the future to have more time to do some dream study too. You mentioned about warning your sister about the jail thing. Well she didn't listen to you, so I guess it was just meant to happen. I also told my brother about a dream I had before he committed suicide. I even gave him a spiritual book after this dream. So the dream was trying to warn me about my brother but at the time I did not pay attention. I will never know if I would of ever been able to stop him if I paid attention to this dream.

Hi Marilyn
Just joined this forum. Eagles represent the feminine aspect of Spirit. If this was my dream I would interpret it to mean that one eagle is Spirit watching over me. The other eagle is a female relative/friend who has passed over and is watching over me as well.
This is a very positive dream telling you that Spirit is watching and protecting you and your brother.

Hello quilter welcome to the forum! thanks for joining us! and thats an interesting interpretation, I wonder if most animals we dream of are actualy our spirit guides or representing our animal natures within us..
thanks for the help!

Hi Lilacsky Thanks for the welcome. I believe that we all have animal guides who will show themselves to us in dreams and at other times when we need them. They do also represent our totems and as such we have the characteristics of these animals within us. They are also visible to people who are attuned to this sort of thing. Here in Melbourne, Australia there is one such person - Scott Alexander King - who "sees" animals with people and is able to tell them what the animal represents at that particular time in their lives. He believes that some animals come to us to teach us a lesson and guide us to find answers within us. To learn more about Scott has a wonderful website: www.animaldreaming.comI attended one of Scott's readings and he saw a black panther with me. A few weeks later I dreamt that I was playing with what I thought was a pure black puppy but on closer inspection it turned out to be a black panther cub. I believe that Panther showed himself to me so that I could verify what Scott had told me. I have since meditated on it and discovered that Panther has been with me for a long long long time. Since then whenever I go out, especially at night, I feel very secure and have no fear because I know Panther is with me, protecting me.

hello, and your welcome for the welcome..hehe wow that is interesting, ya know I always felt a psychic bond with animals, and I always wondered if they could actually hear me ...lol, seriously I would try to talk with them, and I used to have a bird that I beleived was one of my guides because at the time II got her I was with my husband and I had a dream of two birds sitting on my shoulders, but this was no ordinary dream, it was more like a pyschic dream and the next week I called my husband and he said he had something for me, and the first thing that popped in my mind was a bird, so I go home and sure enough there sat a green bird, I can't spell the kind of bird it was, but I said to him why did you get her he said he just had a feeling that he should bye her..lol and beleive me that wasn't llike my husband at all...haha so to me that was very special, and exciting, and ya know I feel she was my guide and I could speak with her...after I had her for a while I felt my psychic abilities increase big time...and I too felt very protected.. I had to give her away when I moved but I kept some of her green feathers... her name was Emmy.. I just find animals so fascinating, and I wish I could have more pets!!haha.. but thanks I will be sure to check out the site...
