same lucid starting point

I set my alarm to wake after 6 hours of sleep to do the wake back to sleep technique becuase I haven't been having many LD's lately (which for me is only a few in a week) and I have about a 90% chance of having one using this technique. I'm working on catching myself falling to sleep and waking back up and each time I do this I let myself drift a little more before I wake up. I read this technique last night on this site.
Anyways to the purpose of this post lol
After doing the wake back to sleep I am in a dream where I'm sitting on a little swinging chair in the front yard of my best friends house of when I was a kid. I stand up and feel like I'm dreaming. I see a very attractive lady in the yard next to this and begin to walk over to her and decide I better do a reality check to make sure I'm dreaming though once I question whether I'm dreaming or not in a dream I can normally feel it's a dream. I fly into the air and this confirms I'm dreaming. Instead of going over to the girl (I've been working on having less sex in LD's and more conversation or meditation) I decide to go up to a plant and smell, touch, and focus on it but start losing the rest of the dreamscape because I'm focusing too much on the plant so I open my focus back to everything else. I've been working with feel and smell of things in my dreams plus pain. The other day in an LD I walked on sharp rocks to see if it would hurt and sure enough it did. I decide to check the mail and While I'm doing this my friends mom comes out and asks what I'm doing...
Well I know that I've become lucid while sitting on this swinging chair before so after checking my dream journal I see that I've actually become lucid from this swinging chair on 4 different occasions and in each one there's nothing weird that happens to make me lucid I just think that I may be dreaming. Plus I'm always by myself in the yard. One of these turned into the LD I posted somewhere on this site in which I flew but more like teleported to a land of broken castles.
for a little background: From the ages of 8-12 I used to play with my best friend here everyday it seemed. He had a paper route so I would sit on the swinging chair sometimes waiting for him to get done so we could play. I have alot of good memories from this house.

Hi there Derek,
hmm thats pretty cool, so perhaps the chair is representing your higher awareness..or somehow you have created this launching point in your dreams, so do you recall the first one you had of this chair?
I think focusing and the technique your using is great! I think its probably the best one to launch obe's as well, and a good way to learn your sub,symbols/themes and such..
also when your using pain, shouldn't you try to change the dream from there as well, since really you can't feel pain, though your attachmant to the physical world is what makes you feel it ya know, I think that would be a great way to launch ld's obe's too, but than again its training of the mind that nothing hurts you in your dreams, I think that may be hard to detach from, since it is something so concrete with our waking lives, but I think your doing well in your dream work, hows the dream journal going? are things coming together for you?

The first dream of this was a dream in which I was in this house and things were going on and later in the dream I find myself sitting on this outside chair and I think to myself that this feels like a dream and become lucid. This is how each one of these dreams is except In the others I don't remember any content in the dream except being on the chair, becoming lucid, and then from there on.
I like to use feel in lucid dreams because it makes the experience seem more real. Lately in LD's I'll walk into a plant or bush and feel the leaves. I'm not sure of why I've been doing this with plants lately. As for the pain. When something happens in an LD that would hurt or kill me I'll make myself realize that it's all created by me even the pain. It's just that as a human, it's so easy to get lost on feel in LD's because I'm so used to it in waking life.
As for my dream work as of late. I haven't been focused enough and haven't been doing the things I want. I've been wanting to work more with meditation and energy work but haven't much. I haven't been keeping up with my dream journal though I do wake and write notes down from dreams. I'm still having LD's I'm just never expecting them and I don't make good use of them.
One thing that I've been doing though is still working on the falling asleep process and working with my consciousness and imagery in the hypnologic state. The only problem with this is It's taking a lot longer to fall to sleep at night so I'm losing sleep. oh and I've been using raising energy techniques for my energy body while meditating right before going to sleep.
I feel like where I'm living right now is holding me back from what I want to do. I'm living with 4 other roomates after having just 1 for 5 years and the house is always messy and cluttered so the energy doesn't feel right in the house. The way the house is I can really feel on my energy. I'm moving in less than 2 months to a nice place with only 1 roomate again and I feel like I'm in a waiting period until I will feel more creative and good about where I live. I'm still trying though to make good use of this time of year with the weather being this great.

yeah I know what you mean completely, I feel I have outgrown where I live too, and I know its a matter a time before I pick up and move on to another place, I just don't feel I belong here anymore, and it seems all the sign posts are saying this to me as well,
also I have been trying to get rid of my clutter little by little, I have reading on feng shui, and other ways of letting stale energy out of your enviroment, and It says that by getting rid of things that no longer serves us, makes room for new things,new beginings. so I think it would be good for you to change where you live, since I feel that living a place too long can build stale energy, and kind of circulate that energy through your life, leaving room for nothing new really..ya know..
