If this is posted already please forgive the re-post.
If you are a smoker you will find yourself reaching for a cigerette in your dreams. The same thing applies to all habits. So if you have a watch or pager, set it to beep every hour during the day. When it goes off do a reality check, check for abnormalities, close your eyes (you can't do this in a dream), and try to fly. After a couple of weeks you will begin to form this habit, and you will do the same in your dreams. Then you can take control and enjoy it fully, or you can leave your dream and go anywhere you chose! Also be aware of your physical body while dreaming so that you are fully aware, and things do not distort from reality. I forget where I learned this but it is a good technique. Happy dreaming!
