It's really interesting. I do get religious dreams. I remember once that I had this bottle of prepared Asian salt against negative energy. The salt bottle said something to do with cleansings using the magical elements. So I Slept with it by putting the enchanted salt in a sock. Then placing the sock on my chest. It induced vivid ancient Chinese music in the background. Still remember the melody from today. I was running away from somebody with the music in the background matching the act of running away.
How many of you guys here have had something similar happen to you?

I haven't had anything like that happen that I can connect to anything like your salt in a sock...but I am very interested in the idea of music in our dreams. I've had countless dreams where I have heard new and strange music...but rarely am I able to remember the tune...but I do often wake up with a known melody or song in my head and can not at all relate it to the dream I was having.
Could you write down this melody that you heard?

Hi 1endless9, Yess there has been a number of times were I have experienced dream music or astral music. Im not sure. Lol once it was snoop dog, drop it like it's hot remix. lolol : P It was bloody goood. I am soooo angry that I can't remember the tune of the remix. It had the tunes of a noun electronic guitar involved in it. I was going to add the guitar tune and make the exact same snoop dog remix on the program acid using the guitar sound after the dream. I couldn't find any guitar tunes on the net, so this is where I forgot the tune from the dream.
About the Asian music. It's hard to describe how the tune was made. I think it was from a violin instrument. High pitched almost squeeky. It was making a danananaaaa sound really fast perfectly matching the seen of the running away dream act

Hmm...have you ever read the short story by H.P. Lovecraft entitled "The Music of Erich Zahn"? The way he describes the music that this man plays at all hours of the night is perhaps similar to what you heard I imagine. Such a great and haunting story as well. I need to look into dream music more...it's extremely intriguing.

No I haven't sorry. That might just be the best way to have dream music. If you have done lucid dreaming before it's possible to alter the effect of the music.

I've read about a celestial music which near-death experiencers describe.
