from my experience this will be your best fail proof technique here to experience a state of altered consciousness. All that is needed is motivation to give it a fair goo! You will leech results each and every time or your money back. This technique is simple and it reaches out to the basics. You just need to be motivated to find a spot where you can be position yourself in a chair like position. A comfortable chair is recommended. If you've got a bit of sleepiness in you right now you can use that sleepiness to get even more sleepy for the trance practice. All you need to do for this technique. Is to try to work on falling asleep while your are positioned in the chair. Try get as sleepy as you can, while you do this. Put something warm and comfortable onto yourself to invite sleep. Now if you think about this technique it beats hundreds of attempts of passing out while your half asleep. Because if your body tries to pass you out. You won't lose the fight on this technique. It's because you will notice that your head would go straight forward when your mind/body put's you to sleep. Here you have a large potential as a practice ground using this technique. In this state you can learn how to control your level of trance. This is the training ground. Use it for your training. In learning to be half awake half asleep or more like entering full trance while body is asleep. Have fun with this!

Pretty slack. Actually I need to improve in this area. The neg has been slowing me down. It's harder work. I've been getting heaps of trance experiences tho with the coach technique. One time on the bus I was sleepy in the morning. So I decided to get all trancy at the back of the bus in the couch position. Then I got placed into a hypogogic scene. Where I totally slipped out of reality for a few seconds. Then I reminded myself that I am in sleepy mode. As a way of grounding myself back into reality. This should be my base awareness for all my trance practice attempts.

How do you do that "reminding yourself "? (to be in a sleepy mood), sounds like being lucid in a trance-state. Or better asked how do you Not loose the trance-state while reminding yourself? lgn

It's simply unconscious awareness. Try it for yourself. It's like doing the reality checks. Every time you practice trance try to always replay the memory of reality checking yourself while you practice. Associate this feeling with meditational practice. When going deeper it's only shifting this unconscious habit of reality checking in deeper levels that it passes on to the deepest level of trance. Try to create this feeling of how it would feel to put yourself in a position where you feel that you are grounded. Each time you enter deeper hypnagogic re ground yourself repetitively. Keep doing this. Try too not get to deep on first practice.
(Try a light alpha and progress to theta brainwave. Then everytime you get hypnagoic images re ground yourself with this awareness.) If you do this exercise here when you finally do fall asleep. This new habit, may present itself when you do lose consciousness, you may find yourself in deep deep trance.

hey Michael, I got some good results yet, I was doing meditation yesterday sitting straight on my bed, going into trance and then into light dreamlike thing, then shifting back and forth between trance and dream (I wonder without to tip lol) - and then finally went into a dream with strong symbols, after a long time of no dream-recall, cool hey, thanks for the good inspiration! lgn

This technique soooo works! Sometimes i get soo tired and fight it cos theres something i really wanna watch on TV and i tell ya i have gotten the best results from this technique.
