Ok...this dream....is odd...I don't understand why I dreamed this...but it was really messed up. Ok so in the dream, I am Jesus (Not Kidding) I was in some arab country I think and I had a quest. I had to do something...but I don't know what it was.. The dream is a bit hazy and that part (My Quest) is no coming to me. So...I complete the quest....and then I get all these "godly" powers. And I walk around and dominate.....as Jesus....Wtf. ;D Why WAS I JESUS?!?!?! *Twitch* Need some answers.

You are probably or have gone through the search for spiritual truth and have sought different religious beliefs and practices in that search. You've probably "tried on" different spiritual beliefs and denominations. In the dream, you "tried on" Jesus, hence being him for a while. The quest is part of that search for spiritual meaning---the one that fits you! You want to utilize your spiritual talents and gifts, but havent' found the right "fit" yet. You say, " I had to do something...but I don't know what it was.. " tells me you are still searching.

What you should do is what your heart and intuition tell you to do. Ask yourself some questions such as:
What spiritual path is me?
Is there one path for me?
Which spiritual or religious teachings do I believe in and which do I think are based on myth and dogma?
Once you figure out all these nuances, you're on your way to a new spiritual path.

Ok Thanks, It's just going to be dificult... One thing that makes it easier (at least it did for me) was to first eliminate what you don't believe or what you find objectible or dogmatic. For example, do you believe in your heart that Jesus will return and take up all those followers, including the ones who have already died, to live forever in a kingdom of worshipers? If not, you are not a fundamentalist Christian. If on the other hand you do believe in reincarnation, then you may be wise to look into some eastern religions such as Buddhism or Hinduism. This doesn't mean you have to follow the teachings of the religions to the letter, but take only those teachings you believe and accept. For example, I believe in the validity of the eight-fold path, but I dont' believe in reincarnation.

Hey Section, Reading your post reminded me of a dream I had maybe over a year ago in which I was Jesus. I'm not sure if I posted it here at all I think I'll look before trying to write down what I remember. OK couldn't find it. Well Basically I'm at my old childhood trailer park in the soccer field area and I just become Jesus. I'm wearing a robe and walking very slow. As I walk I leave a trail of water or dew on the grass behind me people are crawling in it to soak it up (Now I'm not totally sure but I think maybe I was viewing Jesus and I crawled behind him and soaked up the water and then I become Jesus after that but I need to find this journal entry to be sure) Anyways from here there's two little girls that I take over to where I used to live and I believe they dance or do some kind of gymnastics I'm not sure but everything feels very pleasant. I either knock on the door of the house or something and their father comes out. I'm not sure what happens next but I think the dad thanks me for bringing them home but then I try to go into the house with all then and the father slams the door in my face. I remember leaving the house very sad about this.

I am going to think about my beleifs for a while. It's sometimes hard though to tell which are true beleifs and which are soceity.
Weird, we both were Jesus. Did you ever find out what it meant?

Hey Section I somehow missed your reply. In short I believe I was the one following Jesus soaking up his water and this dream happened shortly after reading a theory of how god is water and created everything with water (or something like that). Plus it talked about how our emotions can change the form the the water crystal as well. Here's a link discussing it somewhat www.whatthebleep.com/crystals/ So by soaking up this water trail jesus was leaving it turned me into jesus. I believe during this time in my life of this dream I was leaving a very depressed era of my life and was looking for a more positive lifestyle. So after becoming Jesus I try to help people out (like the girls with their Gymnastics though this could have even more deeper meaning but I don't know). Then after helping them out and feeling very satisfied and happy the father of them comes out and seems alright with me only to slam the door in my face. Maybe this is me wanting to help others as well (in waking life) but people not wanting to get better or wanting to stay in their negative depressed ways. I don't know. In the past while I've been having many dreams where I'm trying to help others but them not wanting my help. These dreams have tapered off alot in the last months cause I've stopped trying to do this or worrying about this anymore. I don't know though, this dream could mean so much more. I'm not religious really at all but I consider myself very spiritual. I don't believe in organized spirituality (church) but I do believe in a higher level of awareness or energy. So for me to become Jesus in a dream was pretty out there for me.

Yeah..I would say that 'Jesus' is the representation of your inner power, or potential. I would say it is a natural symbolism, and doesn't necesarily have anything to do with 'christianity', but a symbolism for maybe a 'destination' and a 'quest' in progress. If it were my dream I would think I am on the right track in uncovering this power. The 'quest' was forgotten, but you did complete it, so I would say that you are following yourself well, and the quest is underway, just underneath of the surface, hidden from sight. Even though the quest can be, and often is hidden, you are already following it, and in your dreams, I think, brings this into your view. Perhaps the quest was not remembered because you are partaking in it now. A divination?
Domination is an easy feeling to aquire when seeking/attaining power, however it is important to keep a close eye on the intentions around this. I think domination and the seeking of power for these reasons is natural, however leads one 'astray' from the destination.

Thats very interesting EIAD, i'm not into the christianity either, I don't have those beleifs.
Hmm...that could be true animal, nothing has been really different though, so it's hard to know where to go! I'm really confused right now. Maybe I should post all of my dreams.

I find that very well said and explained, Animal - by the way very welcome to the forum.
One little thing to add: About Jesus there is one thing very special and this is different to Buddha or any other master I feel. That is that Jesus never was honoured in his life time - rather the contrary. He was cruzified, he had to victimize something, in his case it was his body. Maybe in dreaming about Jesus you guys just get shown that you also have a sort of to victimize something, like you may not get a ThankYou for the things you do, like you may not be heard by the ones you want to help or you may not be seen in your good intensions, or something similar.. but your higher Self in form of Jesus wants to tell you that you are definitely on the right path, that you are just supposed to continue, to not doubt your path, cause its leaded and it is perfect like that.. that must not be forever the same path, but at least it could count for the period you are in. love_awareness, Nani
