I had the light bulb go off in my head today. I just realized that when my one cat sleeps with me I have the very vivid dreams that I remember with clarity. When he is not around it's back to the what I call entertainment dreams. He comes to bed on his own, there is no coercing him to stay if he doesn't want to stay. I will have to add this to my dream journal to see if it's consistent. Strange huh?

Well the cat beat me to bed so I am writing in my paper journal the fact that he is there and we will see what dreams come to pass. Should be interesting.

Would seem, so off I go with my paper journal on the head board, pen ready. I am looking at this as an adventure! oh I am going to bed at this time of day because I work graveyard shift, not because I'm lazy, lol.

Here's some early results: 1. I was at a yard sale. All of the things I looked at had dual purposes. A wooden chair could turn into a shower. A rocking horse turned into a table and so on. Woke up pretty amused. No cat sleeping with me.
2. I am at work and one of the residents is very sick, I keep cleaning up after her but it seems never ending.
I am at a doctors office, he is looking at my foot. He says he doesn't think he can fix it that maybe I should stay off of it, but I have to work. Additional Comments: I have had extensive foot surgeries and my foot has been hurting lately. I think the other is just a sign of tiredness. No cat sleeping with me.
3. I wanted to buy something, I can't remember what it was but it was not something important. I went to the bank and I had no money, I was surprised because I thought I had enough for what I wanted but there was nothing there.
When I woke up and realized it was a dream I kinda fluffed it off, but the more I thought about it the more worried I became, so when I went to town to go to work I first stopped at the bank atm and checked my balance. I had money in my acct. When I got home after work I still wondered about this dream when I got a call from my son asking for 20 bucks. This was the same amount that whatever I was going to buy in my dream cost.
Cat slept with me.

Hey Lady Bleu, I do find this idea of you very interesting !! Not only because Im addicted to my Arthi-cat-baby lol, but also because I really do believe that animals can have an extrem effect on us psychically and anyways. So you`re doing a kind of cat-spiritual-research, thats fantastic, I hope you`ll continue that. From my own view its a bit difficult to say, cause Arthi sleeps every night in my arms or under my feet, so like this its hard to find out any differences. He definitely doesnt like any obeing lol, I could find out yet. But he is a healer though, like most cats are. And he loves meditation, he jumps on my legs when Im going into meditation-position, he loves the buzzing of the OM chanting I do. But though I can not tell about any influences he might have had on the vividness of my dreams - I think he doesnt. Nevertheless it would interest me what you can find out about the correlation of your cat and your dreams furtheron. Great research, and I love researches of all kind hehe. love_awareness, Nani
