Hello everyone im looking for some insight into an interesting thought i had last night dreaming. In the dream I had my guitar and played a few notes. The sound was more intenese its hard to describe in words, it was as if the sound is better precieved, nicer to listen too, in the dream world. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or experiences witht this, Thanks.

Well I thought maybe some of the musicians on this forum would have replied to you by now. I think Ronni/Lilacsky has even said something about playing her guitar in a dream or astral projection before. PM her about it, she may have overlooked your post. She is the owner of this forum, BTW. I know other people have discussed hearing music while dreaming or APing.

I'm not a musician, but I have written words and music in my dreams. Only a few times have I remembered them though. The experience for me was like listening to a stereo at a normal comfortable volume. It was like hearing it for the first time, which is was because I made it up in my dream!
One song I dreamed of that I remember sounded like it was written in the 1940's. It was sort of big band, but low key and the words went:
Strolling down the promanade While people stop and stare, You supply the limo And I'll supply the fare Livin' it up!

My opinion only, but I feel the reason you hear more clearly and distinctly is because it IS more clear. There is nothing in your dream world to distort the sound.
