Ok I've yet to experiment with this but someone had posted this on the dreaminitiative and it has been getting alot of positive feedback from people so I thought I'd post it here. It's very simple to do... All you do is eat a high in protein dinner and excactly 3 hours after you finish your dinner you eat one cooked potato just before bed. That's it. That's all there is to the trick. Instead of posting here the reasons why it works I'll just put the link to it. www.radiantrecovery.com/potato_qna.htmlI'll be interested in hearing of everyones results for those who try it out. I'm going to attempt it soon and I'll be reporting on it as well.

Derek it all has to do with chemistry in your body. And how the potato's reacts with your chemistry altering you dream etc etc etc. That's why potato's works for you. People say that eating cheese makes you have obe's or something along the lines. But I've eaten really really really really good quality cheese. Hand made cheese with beautiful amounts of mold in it. And that didn't do jack.... My chemistry for example makes me get high of marijuana stalks. And it's a GOOD buzz too. Can't wait to get a ounce of stalks.

Hey Michael, Not sure if you read my post clearly but I stated that I've yet to experiment with this potato method so I don't have any input to whether it's changed my dreaming at all. My dreams everyday are pretty freaking crazy so I feel it'd be hard to notice the difference It's not just about eating potatoes all the time though. I'm not sure if you read the link but it helps to do it as recommended "supposedly". Again on the other forum it's got some good feedback but this could have alot to do with the putting the thought in ones mind that it will work so they believe it will as well as their subconscious takes it in as well. The link describes what effect the potato has on our serotonin levels which have alot to do with your dreaming. Again I'm a firm believer in intent and if you intend to be aware and remember your dreams you will. But again I've come across some substances that have for sure effected my dreams in very far out ways. From what I've read, this potato method causes some intense dreaming and even nightmares if taken at the wrong levels. It says to play around with different amounts to see what works for you. Anyways just thought I'd post this to see if anyone here has noticed anything from it or would like to give a a try. "Supposedly it's not just eating potatoes but eating doing what it recommends that helps with the dreaming".

Spudz huh? Interesting I was told that each individual has a "diet" that they should be eating, factoring in body type, chemical balance, "pH" levels, caloric needs and salinity. Also that due to the additives and preservatives that are in "our" processed foods, "our" bodies (hence our dreams) can be affected in a negative sense. GROW your food naturally, or buy eco-products as much as you can.......it may seem trivial but there is also a "reason" behind the chemical brew that is added to our food.

I was going to try that last night and just eat meat for my meal and I was going to eat a potato before bed, but when it came time to do that I just could not get up enough desire to eat a potato. LOL! Later I ate ice cream. Yum! I did have a lot of dreams anyways, but can't say it had anything to do with what I ate, but I hardly ever eat a dessert at night like that. Hehe! More important I had the privilege of meeting/seeing my higher self for the first time later this morning or should I say yeaterday morning since it is already Thursday now. I do not have the words to describe what that was like.

Potaterz, hm? I used to eat all kinds of funky combinations before bed in want of A dream. But really... what difference is there between flooding my bloodstream with comestible chemicals in hopes of a particular reaction and introducing chemicals that are proven to elicit the desired response—entheogens for instance. It's utter poppycock and supreme stupidity to segregate chemicals or anything of the same level. That's like saying, it's ILLEGAL for me to hold your hand because you produce too much insulin. Ach...
