wow how exciting you`re going on this journey, heyooo great countries, with looots of buddhists hahahhaa. Laos must be very interesting and special as I`ve heard often. Im looking forward to hear some of the journey-stories when you`re back. Admirable that you have this "bite" to go through things till reaching your goal! Im still changing a bit my goal every 6 month it seems, thats maybe why I never seem to arrive anywhere special heyolol. Anyways Im fine. My best wishes for protection and lots of great insights are going with you. :-)

hey Osiris, sorry did overlook your post, dont know how that was possible, anyways:
"Tibetan shamanic breathing will definatly affect visuals. If anything do tho the lack of oxygen...lol"
hahahh, but hey Im not breathing there.. aahh at least not like a mad one, like those hyperventilation-meditations they do use for holotrop-therapie or which was used at Osho/Baghwan in India I mean lol. Though have you heard of Stanislav Grof, he is a "transpersonal Therapeut" in Europe quite famous, he does work with such amplifies breathings and is supposed to have great results, especially for people in "spiritual-crisis".
"Really the visuals seem to come when you prepare. Before meditation make sure your "specific" intent is set. Than dont try while you meditate. Just let it come."
I dont understand this, are you talking about tibetan meditation? I didnt hear anything about "intent" in this. We just do those ancient Mantras over and over, and like in most meditations just let the thoughts and any intents pass bye, dont follow them. But maybe you are referring to something else here. Are you?

messages from the spirit world - I find that this is the spirit world, and yet it is also not. I mean the best messages come spontainiously when we look to see them. I suppose syncronicity is the word to use. I call it the way in nwhich we bundle, or align the emanations of reality, which could be called the way we rewrite the matrix, or dream. For instance when I look to see a sign, whether it be a street sign, a billboard, a message in a book etc etc etc, I can look to see it in a certain way, if I look to see my fears then i will see exactly that, yet if I look to see a message of positive help in direction, then I will see that. If i simply look to see what I am thinking of internally then I see that, and yet if I look to see normality and no syncronicy, then I will also see that. The same goes for the music playing around me, or the words being spoken around me as well. This is ofcourse another aspect of the dreamer, and the dreamed. If we wish to hear the music of another individual then we may hear in that way, this is a mastery of intending our dream. And yet the trick is to not become fixed by our observations.
As far as visual messages from Spirit, or whatever, I find relaxing in water and doing ooo, ahhhh, ommm, eeee, mantras are superb for resonation. When I do this I intend the walls to move, or the wall paper patterns to swirl into patterns and designs, when which I can direct into pictures, or messages that i intend, or even direct the mantra resonance to another individual, to witness the same things. I just love dreaming. hahahahahaha. Also ofcourse smoking an herb may help to relax the mind and alloow your internal dialouge to stop. Once you believe that anything is possible, well then it is.

just to add, when i sit in the water, and intend the walls to move, i am begining to make the walls into water, like rippling, i see this in many things, and i see this is how to create a portal thru a wall, into wherever. i know this is not needed, as all we have to do is tunnel, or close our eyes, and spin around, whatever, and yet to visually make a portal i find is vey cool.

If you want visions sit cross legged and meditate. When you start to fall asleep from good meditation your head will go down and it will keep you awake because of this position. This will make you half asleep and half awake, where you will experience visions garanteed. I find this to be very true!! This is usually the position that I am sitting in when I am able to enter a visualization in a forest with my totem animal...the deer.

Thank you DancingBear. *hugs*
Yes, I have found myself thinking of the deer when I am having a particularily bad day. I am fortunate enough to live in the woods amongst nature, and I see deer every night.
