Osiris posted this link in another thread: www.mysticweb.org/Thank you! Has anyone taken their astral projection course? Was it helpful? Is anyone interested in starting it on April 10th? I guess the reason I want to take it is not so much for information. I feel like I have a pretty good base of knowledge about astral projection and access to a lot more on my book shelf haha. I just feel like I need some structure in order to concentrate every week on one topic, instead of thinking about everything at once, my brain goes into overload :-) Some of you know that I started the Mastering Astral Projection before, and I just couldn't follow through. Honestly, it was really boring..hmm..Well, hopefully, I'll stick to this one. Lena

Lena, I did this course the last time around and I will be doing the "Searching Within" course starting April 10th as well. Since I have taken the Dream & AP course I still have excess to that material and I could go along with it agian if I chose. I probably will since I've been still doing some of the exercises & technique, anyway. The way I understood it, the searching within will farther help with AP, because the teacher were telling people not to worry if they don't have an Ap in the time frame of the course for the next course would help with AP too.
I thought, I knew all that was required to have a conscious OBE's but this course did teach me a lot, not head knowledge, but if you practice exercise you gain ability. I give the course 5 Stars. hehe.... It will be worth your time.
I still haven't done that Mastering Astral Projection by Robert Bruce. I haven't even read his first book yet. I probably wasted my money on those.

Hi Linda, I'm happy that I'll have you to share my experiences with when I do the exercises. I'm glad that you liked it too!!! If you'd like we can do MAP together afterwards, there are some exercises worth doing in there, maybe pick out a few techniques to try, rather than going through the whole course, day by day. I'll do "Searching Within" too later, I just wanted to start with AP since I've been wanting to get one good conscious projection. I've had a few experiences, but nothing so clear and conscious that I can say woohoo, that was definitely it. I'll be sure to order that book you recommended too to practice some chakra work. I'm excited now

That's cool Lena. There are actually several website and a lot of information on all of them, if you should want to go read a little bit to get familiar with things. www.mysticweb.org/ This site is where they use to have the courses, but now they have them on Ghosticweb. www.gnosticweb.com/index.php?PageID=1www.astralweb.org/This last one I did not even know it existed until today. I found it when I was trying to find out some info on a radio talk show that Belzebuub was on ...Net-Talk Radio. I wasn't able to listen to it today at the time it was on,because I was baby setting grand daughter. I tried to just tape it onto a cassette tape, but it didn't take. I guess I needed to have a mic for my tape player. So I missed it the second time, too. I'm wondering now if they have each of the courses on the three different websites. I think the searching within course may be on mysticweb, but I will still be able to post on gnosticweb too I think, if I want.

Hey, the course started today!! Progressive relaxation is the first assignment. It'll be good for me to start doing that every night. I suspect that it doesn't matter so much WHAT you are doing, as long as you are doing it consistently enough. AND I ordered all three books I wanted from Amazon (because I wanted free shipping, of course ). One is "A Course in Astral Travel and Dreams" to go along with gnosticweb class online. The other one is "Ask and It Is Given" - definitely been recommended to me more than once, by Seth fans. Have you read it, Linda? Lastly, "Ancient Teachings for Beginners." I'm excited and feel ready to do lots of exercises!

Yeah, I started the Searching Within today. No one was posting. I hope I'm not the only one taking it this time around. It's going to be another week or so before they have the book for it available. My exercise for this week is just to be aware through out the day about everything as much as possible. I do that often already, but some days I totally forget. I guess you could say I'm totally asleep even when I'm up and doing on those days. I hope there will be people posting by tomorrow.

I never recieved an e-mail or anything at all. Guess ill have to wait for the next courses. I will be following closely at this thread and practicing as you guys post though. So first be aware of all throughout the day. Very hard to do but well worth it. It helps raise your concentration and is kind of like meditation in that you are trying to only think about one thing at a time no matter how simple it may seem. unlike meditation though you never clear your mind of what you are actually doing just everything else. Very powerful training in that.

You can still sign up again,. They still take applications this first week. If that doesn't work go to Gnosticweb site and click on "Hekp Desk" and send an e-mail letting them know you signed up but did not receive the notice to start the class. Also, Sky posted the pdf form of the lessons on a thread called "PROBLEMS REMEMBERING DREAMS' in Other World Lounge. The following is what he posted. There you will find all the lessons and the exercises and mantras. These will be a big help if you don't order the book, because the film they show is hard to understand in places for it is poorly made. I did some research and found this course online;

www.savefile.com/files.php?fid=5725451This is a file that contains an interview of Belebuub (the owner of Gnosticweb) on live radio Friday, 31st March on Net-Talk Radio. He was recently featured on Net-Talk Radio at the Spiritual Tides Festival in Kent and had been asked to return for a more in depth interview to discuss the intriguing world of dreams, astral travel and out-of-body experiences. I have not had a chance to listen to it yet, but hear that is is good.

Thanks Linda! I just got my book today, but it's probably a worthwhile intvestment for me :-) I went and chatted with some people on the gnosticweb and got some good advice on astral travel. The first night I did the relaxation exercise, I heard some astral noise, which was a great sign for me. But I use the visualization technique from W. Buhlman. It's the one where you visualize white light pouring in your head and flowing down your body. Works like a charm for relaxation for me. I did the progressive relaxation technique where you tense your muscles for a few seconds and then relax them. I don't like that one as much because it concentrates too much on the physical body. I prefer to do some yoga to loosen up my muscles beforehand instead. Robert Bruce's techniques of sponging where you visualize a sponge going through your body are good though, really stimulates astral body. Anyway, ramble ramble...Good luck Linda and Osiris with your studies! I hope to read some of your great adventures soon. Maybe we could all get together in the astral one of this days, when I can get past my bedroom window that is

I signed into these courses, but actually watched just first three exercises. I felt the need to just not go into them, hard to explain, but the feeling "No, just don't go reading that all" in me was strong, so i just let it be. I would think it wasn't for me to be in that all. I think they are quite good courses, but i need to examine myself and go more deeper in me, because if you have little doubts about if astral projection works, it will not work. I think it's because i still have doubts, maybe very, very deep, but still and i need to sort it out at first and then with time, maybe i will do it. Do it without fear or doubts.

Akeia, the "Searching Within course" they offer is about going within and being more aware of self and how your emotions and all control you and teaches how you can be more in control over your emotions and all. A lot of the stuff they teach and how they are so secretive bugs the crap out of me, but I'm trying hard to keep an open mind about that part. But really I don't know why they bother to have a forum to answer peoples questions since they never answer them except to tell you that you will learn about that in another course. Actually there is hardly anyone getting on the Searching Within course to even ask questions. There is more action going on in the general public forum than in the private class forum. Hopefully things will pick up, but so far it has been losing my interest.

Hmm..I just do the exercises and I think they are pretty good. For instance, visualizing an object is really nice. I noticed that right away I could visualize better in daily life too. Knowing that I'm taking a course keeps me motivated not to skip daily exercises...I do relaxation and a bit of meditation before bed. Sooo, yesterday I felt vibrations several times and I felt some motion. I was conscious enough to get too excited...haha, several times! Maybe those chakra exercises from Ancient Teachings helped too. I did the third eye so far. No unusual visions as of yet

Wow Lena, it sounds like you are just one step away projection and it is just the second week. I'm having a hard time with the searching within class, there is hardly anyone using the forum. My practice was so bad today..hehe.. when I went for a walk I was soooo lost in my mind that the walk was over so quick. My little dog did all the leading, I don't even recall what direction we took. (I usually practice really hard to stay aware of everything going around me as I walk, because they said taking a walk was a really good time to practice awareness) I was so unaware today. Hopfully I'll do better tomorrow. Some days my mind with shut up. But even thoug my mind was busy , I still had a really cool projection today. I planned to write about it in my dream journal.

Linda, so our third week is concentrating on the heart in order to project. Since I remember you saying that you often project from heart chakra, and there are different variations of a technique for this week. What worked for you? Were you consciously trying to project from heart chakra or it just happened?? Thanks for your help.

I do project from my heart chakra sometimes, but mostly I just natural leave from my solar plexus. I do the concentration on the heart exercise alot because that on really works well with me. I just do regular breathing sort of. I breath in on the count of 1, 2, 3, 4, and then hold in 1, 2, 3, 4, then breathe out 1,2, 3, 4, then I hold the breathe out 1, 2, 3, 4,
It funny, for me it is easy to hold the breath in, but to hold the breath with no air in your lungs is harder. Anyways, as you do the counting of your breathing steady like that, it makes it easier to feel you heart beating. After a while of doing that I start feeling my heart chakra beating and it like goes twice as fast or so than what your physical heart does. When I get to that point feeling my heart chakra, I just keep my concentration on the heart beats and try not to get excited and the next thing you know you will just pull right out of your body. That was the exercise I was doing the first time I got to feel the bodies separate. It is really cool. Just try to stay calm.

Linda, I tried this exercise a few times. It's very hard for me to stay calm...The first time I was laying there for hours concentrating on the heart beat, just to fall asleep. It's not a problem to feel my heartbeat at all. Today when I started feeling vibrations, while very conscious, I got excited right away. Maybe I could benefit from doing more relaxation at this point?? That's why projecting from my dreams is a lot more convenient since my ego seems to be out the way. Also, a side effect I noticed to doing more of this stuff is more noise in my apartment...Ya know, or maybe I just notice more, but strange sounds out of nowhere..Not astral, physical...
Anyway, I don't know what's helping, I started doing exercises from Ancient Teachings for Beginners, Astral Travel and Dreams exercises, and one exercise for clairvoyance from Sandy, but my dreams so so clear now, it's amazing. The level of detail is really improving for me.
Thank you for sharing your technique.

It sounds like you are doing great Lena, it takes a lot of practice at first, but it does get easier. Each person has to try different techniques to find out what works best with them. For me I find it hard to convert a dream. Once I become aware in the dream and try to convert it to OBE I end up waking up instead. Dream conversion, I heard it is suppose to be the easiest way, but for me it is the hardest. Once you become so good at putting yourself into a trance that you're mind is awake/aware of your physical body laying there sleeping, you know then that all you have to do is think yourself somewhere and it is like instantly you are there. At time when I'm having sinus/allergy problems, it is a big help, because my physical body will began snoring and helps me to know when it has fallen asleep. Then I am free to go where ever I want. That is why is is important to practice being aware in the waking beta state, for that abilities goes with you when you go into the alpha, theta, and on to delta states. Creativity, dreams and Extra-sensory perception happens in the theta state and OBE happens in delta. www.psychic101.com/brainwaves-beta-alpha-delta.html
