Magic of the Qabalah: Visions of the Tree of Life
Wow, now somethings are coming together. The other day when I was in that semi-disappointing magik shop, I bought two books, the one with the title above and a psychic book. I've just read 20 pages of the Qabalah book. Mind you, I never even heard of the Qabalah until July when someone on the internet recommended I read it. While I was in the store, a woman was kneeling on a little bench. She never really looked me in my eyes and I didn't look her in her eyes either. A black cat came in the room, she came right to me, which isn't unusual for me because I often have squirrels, birds, and other animals approach me, jump on me and try to play with me. So, she turns to me and says, she likes you. I blurted out that I don't see animals on the other side, but this summer I happen to see a baby elephant in my room. Yes, a baby elephant with tusks and everything. Now that's the first animal I ever seen that I can recall. We'll as I was reading this book today, on page 4, it says the following: "Astral elephants really do parade about the planes of Yesod, thanks to the much-invoked Thelemic thought practice, at least when the Tree is approached in the spirit of the Western Magickal Tradition." (Trobe)
Now I don't totally understand this statement above. I'm looking for answers, but for them to mention elephants on an astral plane, just makes me jump for joy. I'm looking for understanding or for anyone that can relate to me on such things. I'm desperate a bit for answers. The book goes on to talk about protecting oneselves in other dimensions, but I've been going out for nearly 20 years now unprotected. I guess it doesn't hurt to be aware that one can protect oneself. I guess, I'm experiencing astral projection in my room on differnent channels. The book speaks of these channels. I will tell you more as I read the book. I have 3 exams next week and I shouldn't be reading anything, but it's like cotton candy to me. You just keep eating it and you don't care if your hands get sticky.
