My dealings with the other worldly practices have included the practice of varied forms of Chinese Martial and Medical Qigong, pranic healing, the un esoteric Therapeutic Touch, having trained with Delores "Dee" Krieger, consulting the Yi Jing, reading the pendulum, casting Runes, and last but not least, the Tarot.
My favorite deck is the rider waite. I have discovered the following:
Never tell the client "This is what WILL happen", regardless of good or bad news. The tarot is not a black and white forecasting tool.
It is a "this may happen in your life if your life does not change"
tool.
I learned the hard way, in the form of 'karmic retribution', as I like to call it, for telling clients what WILL happen.
I started using the tarot as a young teenager, and found that I had
a good knack at reading and interpreting the casts, my fave being the Celtic Cross. I continued consulting the Tarot while in the Army.
I had had some good results with the people I served with, but one day a soldier, who was a skeptic and a die hard baptist, asked me to read his cards, in an effort to debunk the reading and show that his chosen deity was stronger. I basically read that he would not be in the unit much longer, and that he would not be coming back. Of course he poo poo'ed the reading.
A week or so later, his grandmother, who raised him up, suddenly
died. He went home on emergency leave, and was transferred
closer to his home State.
Weeks later I was involved in a near fatal helicopter crash. I had been a crew chief for an ah-1s Mod, a cobra anti tank attack helicopter. I was in the front seat when a tail rotor drive shaft decided to fail in mid flight. We crashed into a copse of trees, and I almost lost my right arm at the mid forearm. The same hand I dealt the cards with. I did not make the connection until years later.
I was later reassigned to the US some years later. A woman was talking about her daughter, and how she was pregnant. I offered to read her cards. I read that her daughter would have minor problems, but that her son would survive and thrive.
The daughter had her son by Cesarean section, and was thereafter healthy and fine. A month or so later I was almost killed by a drunk driver while riding my motorcycle. My skull was fractured in 3 places, and I had other injuries that required me to be hospitalized for about a year. My mind was almost destroyed, I lost most of my childhood memories, and sustained permanent damage relating to
recall and short term memory
This I believe was another form of karmic retribution, I almost lost my mind, that allowed me to read the cards.
The last time I had anything to do with the cards happened when a
girl I knew, wished to know what would be the outcome of her fiance's motorcycle accident. He was in a vegetative state at the time. I told her that I did not believe, based upon my reading, that
he would not survive the injuries incurred from his accident.
I walked across the railroad tracks to the bar where the girl was waiting, where I read the cards.
Shortly thereafter, on Halloween, I was at the very bar having a good time. I heard some screaming outside the bar. Not one to just hang out while I heard someone being badly beaten, I dashed out. One guy was on the ground being beaten by 4 guys. I used my martial arts skills to get the 4 of them off him, and running away.
I did the stupid thing and chased the slowest, wanting to capture him for the police to take in. He reached into his pocket on the run and pulled a gun, and I was shot 2 times through the legs, on the railroad tracks. I almost died due to extensive damage of my femoral artery. The legs I used to walk from my home to the bar
to read the cards for that girl.
All of my massive injuries were to the right side of my body; right arm, right side of the head, and the right leg.
I have felt that certain people need to go through certain experiences in their lives through which they may grow, or that they may pay for their crimes, or that they must learn certain life lessons.
What I did for those 3 people was to help them "cheat", and I gave them the answers before the test. I was made to pay the price
for helping them. From that time on, I have never read for strangers, only myself and family members.
I never tell anyone what will happen, only give them general information for them to act upon themselves.
That is my advice to you readers.
