Eagle, so its your turn now. Maybe I`ll find some questions to start with hehe. You`re doing music: since when how started with what people what instruments what styles where what means music-doing for you have you transcendental experiences through music did your taste change or broaden or get more specified
hm.. surely first later on I`ll realize what real questions I had LOL, just kidding, you just tell what ya feel like okayo. la Nani

Good Questions Nani, since when - since I was about 19 y.o. (late starter) how started ? - wanted to develope my talants, balance my skills and talants with what people ? - musicians with rock star syndrome, good players. what instruments ? - drums what styles ? - Rock/metal, then into Jazz,Blues and I love latin, mmmmm, yes, thats more an expresion of love for me, were as heavy rock/metal, with a posistive message is addictive, I express the energy of the songs better and more fluently. even when I was in a marching band that was real fun and a good learning curve. where ? - my house what means music-doing for you ? - If your asking 'what music does for me' ? - thats a hard one to put into words, but here goes, It gives me a natural rush, a feeling like no other, better than any man made drug. have you transcendental experiences through music ? - I don't know what this means. did your taste change or broaden or get more specified ? - no, not really, I love all kinds of music, but I do tend to lean towards heavy rock of an intense powerful music of all instruments ((well balanced) that includes the singer.) Because I'm no longer in a band seen, I just go out into the garage and have a hit, even put a CD on and play to the music, e.g. I have played all the music from Metallicas, Master of Puppets, I'm heavly influenced by Ian Paice. Ginger Baker and Lars Urlich, which tells you I play their music. And believe it or not, even church music, some of the modern day music is really well written. ummm lately I've been listening to Velvet Revolver and Wolfmother, those 2 bands are realy me when it comes to discribing the style of music I write and play. ah interesting Eagle!
>what instruments ? - drums
does that include percussion-drums like bongos and such?
>what styles ? - Rock/metal, then into Jazz,Blues and I love latin,
great, though it does make we wonder how so many people can have so different favourits at the same time. My taste is more of the same direction, like either the importance on wild groove or on softness of the melodyflow, thats why I love such shamanic or ethno influenced music most. But yes Jazz, Blues and Latin I love too.
>what means music-doing for you ? ... It gives me a natural rush, a feeling like no other, better than any man made drug.
oh how I do agree yes! Here are lots of musicians drinking, so did I years ago, but thats such a waste of energy. In a way I can understand that people do use drugs or alcohol to get more free to perform on stage, but hopefully they will not become adicted.
>have you transcendental experiences through music ? - I don't know what this means.
okay I did put that a bit silly into words. I more meant what kind of inner broadening or mystical experiences you got out of music playing. Like once I wanted to start playing some Kongas, just had laid my hands on them and suddenly felt that I could not start to do something like a special-technique practising, cause my hands did start by themself. They didnt start playing orderly but more they started to kind of beat the drums, both the same hits. I did let me take into this flow and then visualisations did start within my inner eyes. I saw and felt a group of african woman laughing and dancing, greeting me, this was a very touching mystical experience for me. It only happened once this way. But anyways there are million ways to step into the magic by doing music, any sudden inspirational moments are kind of divine.
>did your taste change or broaden or get more specified ? - no, not really, I love all kinds of music, but I do tend to lean towards heavy rock of an intense powerful music of all instruments ((well balanced) that includes the singer.)
this balance your talking about is tremendous important for me, sometimes I get into conflict with my partner about this, cause he feels like Im "ironing" the songs Lol ya know, but Im not, I just have a certain feel and want for balance, not only in between the instruments including vox (which is for me just an instrument and especially at Dao has no further highlightening intent) but also especially about the loudness of the single instruments relating to each other. I can`t stand it when its not balanced and so the moments of our last and final mix-up of a song always is a precariously or delicat moment. We both better have meditated before hahaha. But a good partnership is one which has gone through all kind of periods, not only ever sunshine, right :-).
>Because I'm no longer in a band seen, I just go out into the garage and have a hit, even put a CD on and play to the music,
wow yeah great ! When I was journeying with a bus I used to go with my kongas into the wood and rock like mad, hmm lately I didnt do that anymore on my own, besides some few kewl sessions I couldnt get any intent up. I guess it would be good for me to do it again. Thanks for your inspiration.

ah okay good to know, though I dont know many band-names, or cant remember them well, but when the`ll pass by I will have a look or hear to them. And yes why not church-music, all praying stuff anyways is or can be a great inspiration I think.
