Well, I think I took my first step towards Lucid Dreaming. I was standing in an arcade (and I've been having this damn arcade dream for many years, too) and I said to myself "I can't be dreaming, this is too real. It sure seemed real. Great detail down to the electrical outlets and everything! Of course I was wrong!
I have a lot of dreams where I'm witnessing plane crashes, too. There's always an empty field across from my house and the planes always crash there. That's my 2nd plane crash dream in two weeks. I used to have them sometimes 2 times a week for a month or two BEFORE 9/11. After 9/11, they totally stopped until last week.
I'm not sure if reading about dreams (I joined this site last week) has spurred on the plane crash dreams or not, but for a long time now I've had the dreams where I'm in an arcade (and the games there suck!) and the plane crashes.
Please, feel free to disect those!

hi Mrbuzzkill, so would you say you gained lucidity in these dream? I mean when you said "I can't be dreaming, this is too real" just you began to notice any changes within your awareness and the dream itself? If you had this dream for a while , it is a personal symbol to you, however you have to figured this out by asking yourself, "what does this mean to me"? Usualy when we have a dream theme such as this over and over it is something important that we need to pay atteniton to in our waking lives, for the dream is suggesting that plane crashes have a personal meaning for you,.. I would say that probably from reading about dreams it enhanced your inner awareness and perhaps even opened you up more, even let down some subconscious walls as well. but the plane crash can mean several things of course, and I think the more you learn about dreams, the more youll become aware of your own..so keep it up, your getting there!!
